After hiking in RMP all day and heading back to Denver, my friend said we absolutely had to stop here. It's a great mid-way-ish point between Estes Park and Denver with plenty of parking, a clean restroom and oh yeah, lots of cherry themed items!! Their gift shop features preserves, honey, sweets and more. You can buy pie by the slice or as a mini or large pie. We got a cherry streusel pie to go and it was delightful. Staff is wonderful and lots of options for pies, both sweet and savory if cherry isn't your thing. A must stop after a full day of hiking

This place is inside the Stanley hotel, where the Shining was filmed. They have a little coffee shop downstairs. I got a cookie ($4.95), Buffalo jerky ($15.95) and blackberry cider (4.95). The cookie was ok, soft. The cider I had over ice, was very tasty. A couple of my friends got espresso shots, said they needed the boost.

Best pie in the whole world!! I come back for the Buffalo chicken hand pie but they didn't have it so I got the curry pocket! Also super delish and a great snack for a chilly day. The Buffalo chicken pie is to die for! One of my favorite foods ever and no other place does pie better than Colorado Cherry Co! If I go to Estes park on the way home I always make sure to stop by Colorado Cherry Co and I also do go to the Denver location as well!

A very unique place with beautiful views that has the most delicious Bison pot pie, hands down! Well seasoned and creamy, impossible to forget. The bison chili is always well balanced and fresh. High quality in everything. Delicious jams, ciders, chocolates. It's like going to a fairy Godmother house that has everything to indulge

Yummy coffee and pie!happened across the place while in town a decided to try it out. This location was located inside the Stanley. It was a nice place to sit down hand have some coffee and pie.

I have driven past this mom and pop shop at least over 50 times before I finally decided to go in. I am so happy I did because they have so many other things other than cherry products! They have jams, syrups, homemade ciders that are sugar free, and fresh pies!! They sell frozen pies, pies by the slice, fresh baked pies. And a variety of other Colorado grown products such as honey and other delicious treats. I love that their apple cider is 100% juice and all natural with no sugar added. Pair it with their caramel bourbon apple pie, and you have a fall party in your mouth!

The shop sits on Elkhorn Ave, kind of the Main Street of Estes. It has a front and back entrance, if you'd like to walk along the river to get there. There's a large public parking lot across the street as well. The barista made the cutest latte art for us! But it wasn't just appearance. The oat milk lattes were as delicious as they were beautiful! We tried some lattes at Inkwell yesterday, and Kind today. Kind was easily better, 10/10! It's a clean and cute shop. Good selection of coffee and breakfast and light lunch options. Also a small merch section - mugs, tees, coffee cups and canisters. We tried the salmon and cream cheese bagel with capers yesterday for lunch and they were great. My husband preferred the jalapeño cheddar bagel, while I was happy with the everything bagel. But the lattes were the real standout for me. The line was longest at lunch out of our visits, but it moved very quickly! The baristas were very welcoming and nice as well! Overall - Would definitely recommend!

You can beat the surrounding views and the hassle free parking! They roast their own coffee, have a large menu of coffee, tea, milkshakes, smoothies, toasts, burritos, bagels, and oatmeal. I think they had about five women behind the counter. As I stated this place is popping and I loved seeing a properly staffed shop! It was warm out and I didn't want my standard iced americano. So I asked them if they could make me a cold brew lemonade and they happily obliged. 2/3 cold brew, 1/3 lemonade, I love this stuff. It sounds odd, but trust me, it goes down smooth on a hot day! Lots of space inside to sit, considering they have a hidden back room where the bathroom is with tons of seating. But the seasoned move is to sit outside on their patio or near the river if spots allow. I usually have a go-to in Estes that isn't Kind Coffee, but after a less than stellar experience there recently, this place might be my new spot. If you're willing to wait in a little bit of a line, you won't be disappointed here. Support your local coffee shops!

Right outside Rocky Mountain National Park, and directly across from their main outpost, Bird & Jim. This place serves it all: coffee, smoothies, breakfast, baked goods, pizza, salads, soups, wraps, etc. Each menu varies depending on the time of day obviously. The space itself is gorgeous, and not something you'd expect in a mountain town. The high ceilings and massive windows allow you to soak up any mountain and sunset views. They have a nice little patio outside and yes, you'll probably see elk grazing across the street! The pizza left more to be desired. I ordered a simple margherita ($18) and an Odell beer. I would've prefered the pizza to be cooked for another minute in the oven personally, but that's not a knock on them. It desperately needed salt. In the dough and on the tomatoes. The tomatoes slid right off every time I tried to take a bite. It was just severely under-seasoned and really didn't have any flavor at all. I would actually come back here because I do like restaurant concepts like these that offer different experiences throughout the day. A great place to hang out and recharge. I will stick with breakfast and coffee next time!

I slept about 4 hours the night before to make it early for sunrise. To say that a few tasty beers were what the doctor ordered would be the understatement of the century! None of this matters, of course, to the good folks at Rocky Cut Brewing Company. This is off the main drag of Estes in an unassuming strip plaza. Humble vibes inside, a simple U-shaped bar top with seating all around, a few smaller tables, a community table, and a large patio with mostly picnic table seating. If you're lucky, snag a stool right along the Big Thompson River! Though, I recommend they fix the wooden placeholders for beers, they're leaning on the wrong side of history, we don't want any full glasses of beer reaching an unnecessary demise! Interference IPA * American IPA * 6.7% * 16oz ($7) From their website: "Climbing the Interference Boulder in Rocky Mountain National Park requires strength and power. This Colorado IPA showcases the power of hops with an intense blend forging citrus aromas with a pine forward finish. Featured ingredients: Cascade, El Dorado, Mosaic, Chinook, & Simcoe hops * Recommended adventure: hiking Black Lake, climbing the Twin Owls, skiing upper Hidden Valley." A perfectly apt description. I would summarize this beer just as they did, focusing on hops, citrus, and pine. Absolutely delicious, a memorable IPA in recent memory. I liked it so much I ordered it again and it tasted just as delicious the second time down! They also had a food truck outside, so safe to assume they do this often. Would love to try more of their beers during my next visit. Rock Cut, I see you!

Otherwise, we were mightily disappointed. Saturday, late June ~1pm - we were seated quickly enough. Took a while for the server to take our order (~10 minutes before she came for our drink order) and it took well over 45 minutes for our food to come out! They weren't particularly busy (lots of open tables) and there were a lot of servers. Maybe short staffed in the kitchen? Probably more disappointing than waiting so long was the food itself. Potato soup was "fine" but nothing special and way too much bacon. Three of us got side salads and every single one of us had warm lettuce. Not even room temperature - warm, like it had been sitting under a heat lamp. The turkey panini had way more mayo that should be allowed on a sandwich and the bread was barely toasted. We waited so long for our food we couldn't risk sending it back. As it was, we were there for so long we had to change our afternoon plans to go to RMNP because we rain out of time. Fortunately, we live only an hour away so we can go back. If you are looking to maximize your time in Estes I would not recommend Notchtop. Plenty of other options in Estes.
