Chose this place based on reviews but sadly it missed the mark. I had chocolate chip cookie dough, a classic, but there were maybe 2 pieces of cookie dough in the entire serving. The vanilla base ice cream tasted very synthetic and I was not a fan. The waffle cone had cinnamon in it, which was unique but I would have preferred to know that before ordering as it was not a flavor I was expecting. My boyfriend and I were craving something sweet during our super adventurous visit to Rocky Mountain National Park and there were no shortage of ice cream shops along the shopping strip in the downtown area. We were drawn to this one being a bit off the beaten path (just turn down one of the side streets) and the prospect of vegan flavors. While I'm not vegan, I love vegan ice creams! The shop owner was super kind in letting us sample flavors before ordering. My most favorite was the vegan mint chocolate chip! It had a perfect delicate mint flavor and the right ratio of chocolate chip to mint (not every single bit was a chocolate chip, so it complimented rather than overpowering my cone). They even add rainbow sprinkles free which delights my inner child. We loved this shop so much we ate here three days in a row, and it was my favorite food adventures in Estes Park! My boyfriend tried Lavender Honey, Coffee with Bailey's, and Huckleberry Chocolate Chip and loved them all. I would also recommend the Elk Tracks and Cookie Dough Flavors. This place needs more hype! The interior of the shop was super cute. We enjoyed eating our cones along the river walk. read more

What a wonderful new place in Estes! We went there not once, but twice, during Dine Around. The flavors available were wonderful and the service was top notch! They have a large selection of flavors and some options that are not just ice cream. The servers are more then happy to let you sample what you want (PLEASE limit the samples when the line is long!!). Check out was quick and eat. And sadly the treats did not last long. Maybe evaporation? ;-) Have to get more/bigger ones next time. As with any ice cream AND warm weather make sure you grab napkins when heading out! The workers were very nice and patient and kind. The ice cream tasted good (although I could finish mine because of how hard the chocolate chips were because of the cold). I will say though it was kind of hot inside the shop but it is decorated very nicely. There was a family there though who couldn't control their kids it seems but the shop can't really do anything about that. I love that this adorable ice cream shop is around the corner from the main road, a reprieve from the crowds. They're all about old fashioned ice cream, toppings and shakes; they even make their waffle cones fresh and it smells amazing. I chose this place for their dairy free options (vanilla, mint chip and a non gluten free cappuccino Oreo). Scoop size is generous so 1 scoop is plenty for 1 person.
