Cute name, cute vibe, and amazing ice cream. The service was great and very personable.

Staff was wonderful and very engaging. It's a shame that they don't have more reviews! We went there 3 times!!! And we may go again tomorrow! The vegan options were great; I would recommend the mint chip or the cappuccino. If you don't like vegan options, go for the huckleberry Oreo one!!!

My boyfriend and I were craving something sweet during our super adventurous visit to Rocky Mountain National Park and there were no shortage of ice cream shops along the shopping strip in the downtown area. We were drawn to this one being a bit off the beaten path (just turn down one of the side streets) and the prospect of vegan flavors. While I'm not vegan, I love vegan ice creams! The shop owner was super kind in letting us sample flavors before ordering. My most favorite was the vegan mint chocolate chip! It had a perfect delicate mint flavor and the right ratio of chocolate chip to mint (not every single bit was a chocolate chip, so it complimented rather than overpowering my cone). They even add rainbow sprinkles free which delights my inner child. We loved this shop so much we ate here three days in a row, and it was my favorite food adventures in Estes Park! My boyfriend tried Lavender Honey, Coffee with Bailey's, and Huckleberry Chocolate Chip and loved them all. I would also recommend the Elk Tracks and Cookie Dough Flavors. This place needs more hype! The interior of the shop was super cute. We enjoyed eating our cones along the river walk.

What a wonderful new place in Estes! We went there not once, but twice, during Dine Around. The flavors available were wonderful and the service was top notch! They have a large selection of flavors and some options that are not just ice cream. The servers are more then happy to let you sample what you want (PLEASE limit the samples when the line is long!!). Check out was quick and eat. And sadly the treats did not last long. Maybe evaporation? ;-) Have to get more/bigger ones next time. As with any ice cream AND warm weather make sure you grab napkins when heading out! Say Hi when you see me in line more often than I need to be.

Super cool locally owned place with friendly staff. Unique and thoughtful flavor combinations. The best handmade fresh waffle cones. I'd come back and try more flavors.

Homemade waffle cones, exceptional choice of flavours, fantastic service with a deep care for the quality of the ice cream. 10/10 one of the best ice cream spots in the USA.

The cookie dough and cookies and cream were alright, nothing special, but the Huckleberry Oreo was unmatched to anything i've had before.

I haven't been here since way back before Covid. I remember…read moreit being smaller. I was pleasantly surprised to find a fast food alternative in a tourist town. There seems to be plenty of parking and a little fountain and creek out front. I appreciated the 50's retro chrome and red vinyl chairs. When we weee ready to leave it took our server quite a while to bring us our bill.

Update: our youngest started vomiting on the way home a few hours after eating here and has been…read moredoing so ever since - it's been 24 hours, she has been vomiting all night. All symptoms point to food poisoning. We will not be back. This was our first visit to You Need Pie. What we liked: Our waiter was really hospitable, friendly, and did his best to provide service in a timely way despite being the only server available for all the customers. The coffee was decent, though in a small mug, and so was the hot chocolate we orders for the kids (which came with whipped cream, much to their delight!). The decor on the walls felt kind of scanty but what is there was cute. There is a pretty wide pie selection. Food serving sizes were okay. The single person bathroom was clean. What we didn't like: *The $2 veg add-ins of onion and jalapeños to the $12 omelette were raw. *The corned beef hash was extremely basic and barely seasoned, the potatoes were well cooked but bland and pale. It was edible but not worth $15. *Our party ordered a $9 bread bowl soup and waffle fries as well; it was eaten but the cheese ingredient was really overpowering in flavor - the small size was a good thing, in this case, because otherwise it couldn't have been finished. *The batter on the chicken tenders in the kid's meal were almost burnt on the edges, but still pale everywhere else. Something off with the oil temperature I guess. They didn't get eaten. *The color of everything was pretty much all beige and served on white plates, which impacted the impression of the meal - zero visual appeal. One of my favorite parts of eating at mom-and-pop diners is the way the meals feel homey, warming you from the inside out. This did not create that kind of impression. Lastly, the pie (which was the main draw for us and why we picked this dining option). We ordered one slice of rhubarb at $6.25. The pie was very disappointing - something in it was either stale or had gone bad. It tasted really unpleasant and we ended up throwing it away. Our total for everything was about $80 with tip and it was sadly not money well spent. We love stand alone dining options but probably will not be returning.
