Peanut soup.. its good when its hot..

Of all the Bolivian Restaurants in the NOVA area , I can attest that the saltenas here are top tier! Delicious and juicy!! If you come on the weekend get here early! Like before 1pm otherwise it will get busy and cramped. Their dining area is small. They have tables for 4 people around the restaurant. So some people will be dining for 1 at a table set for 4. You might have to share a table. Their menus are limited.. and prices aren't listed . So ask! I had their peanut soup, saltenas and beef tongue to take home. My saltenas were delicous. Hot and very juicy. Better than Luzmilas or Luzmarys! BETTER than Pike or Fanny's. The language was very savory. Their comp bread with their house made salsa was delicious!! The service was pitiful.. The female wait staff have no urgency or take on any sort if initiative You have to ask for whatever. No they are not short staffed. They weren't rude or arrogant. If anything I would say absent minded. The peach drink mocochinche....not good it was not sweet.. not cold... . I dont recommend.. The restaurant is also warm, so if its hot like 85 degrees outside your gonna sweat. This could have been 5 stars but the service need to improve. Also tip is already included.. no wonder.. and they still have an additional tip line.. so BOLO...

The Milanese is yet to disappointment. I've gotten around 50 jn the past few years! The service and ambience is at best 4 out of 5, Especially if you catch it empty. The sandwich itself is top notch but that's not hard to do with what I'm getting. I've yet to seen or gotten any hair. Maybe I'm not lucky enough. :(

Cinthia's is tucked away in an unassuming strip mall on Columbia Pike. I drive by it all the time and tell myself I need to check out every bakery in my community. Finally, my husband and I stopped by a couple weeks ago and I was pleasantly surprised to find this is much more than a bakery. This is legit local hispanic food to include baked goods. I admit I had to get out my phone to translate some of the menu items, but I quickly found a steak dish I was interested in and tres leches for dessert. The food portions are very generous. Even the tres leches was a generous serving for two. The staff were really friendly and it seemed like a family atmosphere in the community. I'm glad we finally stopped by and we plan to return soon. Thank you! :-)

Ordene un pescado y me costo 15$. Abres el contenido y te dan una papa fritada entera con un pelo, Demasiado decepcionante por el precio. Mi amigo ordenó un pique y igual decepcionante, no lo recomiendo

5 stars for the Tres Lache Cake!!! So yummy and not too too sweet like the other places! Quality is good & Delicious :) I did try at least 5 places in this area. This one is the most one I love. Thank you!!! I will go back and try another bake. More review!!! I just went back again today :) for the Tres Lache , fruit cake, coffee cake!!! They all are so good!!!!!! Price is good !! $5 each I think. All is delicious. That have lunch too. But I need to study their menu. Hope they have menu in English version :)

    the receipt for the restaurant

At 8:49pm I went to buy bread and there were five left, after paying for them, I feel that they were hard inside the bag they gave them to me (without touching the loaves), I tell the lady who was serving me that those loaves were very hard and I'm not going to wear them. I asked her to please suggest something else similar and she gave me no choice but she got rude and rude and just gave me my refund. I'm still talking to her and she leaves me talking alone, and when I say, ma'am, please, I'm asking her, she answers me in a very rude and rude way: what do you want me to tell you. I always come to buy in this place, but from now on in Adela I will think about it. To work serving clients, they must have a minimum of training; if they do not have patience, they should work in the back without facing the client. but it is simply discarded, because thanks to us clients, she and everyone can work. I ask her for her name to give a review and she answers that she does not wants to said her name. However l ok n the receipt appear a name: Eliana.

My Peruvian friends got a tres leches cake from here for dessert for a dinner party I attended. It was delicious!!! He whipped cream icing was light and not too sweet. The cake was moist. I recommended it!!

First I was greeted by a customer while I was reading the outside sign on a pumpkin spicy latte, a customer that was leaving stopped and turned and explained it was everything and do good and if I have not, I must as they put actual pumpkin puree inside not just that pump pump stuff. So I was sold walking in. Next up was home made cookies making ice cream sandwich's by the front door. before I could even get through the line to the front, I was greeted with more baked goods, cupcakes, scones, macroons, dog biscuits - normal biscuits! So I went to town ordering a variety being asked by my lil and my inner child. While sipping on my now, pumpkin spiced latte from here, I saw actual meals being served and I missed out on ordering sandwiches from the back :( Something I will be coming back for! I did get up and order more things, like a fall inspired cookie ice cream sandwhich, all alone by itself in a sea of other flavors, I had to rescue it. And the sour macrons! When did that become a thing??? They were so good and perfect for our movie night later that day. I'm very happy to have stumbled across this find.

This place is interesting because they have essentially three different menus along with a bakery…read morethat I believe is open all day with a variety of interesting baked goods. They have a breakfast/brunch menu, a daytime/lunch menu, and an evening menu and you can watch them preparing items in the kitchen. You can either eat inside or outside on the patio, and they have heaters for the cooler days. We came here to get some baked goods mid-afternoon and they still had a good selection. The bear claw was large and tasty with an enjoyable cinnamon flavor and the lemon meringue croissant was unique and enjoyable as I'd never had a croissant with lemon meringue filing. They weren't cheap but they were tasty and enjoyable. I did want to mention they have parking but it's hit or miss on getting a spot since it can get crowded so walking might be easiest if you live nearby. I'll come back here again for a meal and to try some other items on their menu.

I really wanted to love this place…read more My family and I chose to come here for Easter because it's dog-friendly -- which felt like the perfect combination for us. They even have a dog menu, and the patio setup is honestly beautiful. The ambiance is warm, inviting, and aesthetically on point. The staff greets you right away, and first impressions were genuinely great. We chose to sit outside on the balcony so my puppy could join us, and that space alone is worth noting -- fire pits going, cozy atmosphere, just really well done. Unfortunately, everything went downhill from there. We ordered food for all of us, including my daughter and my puppy. My food and my puppy's food came out fairly quickly, but my daughter's meal never arrived. After waiting quite a while, I had to flag down the waiter, only to be told -- after the fact -- that they didn't even have what she ordered. At no point before that did anyone communicate this. So now she has to reorder, and we're waiting all over again while the rest of us are already eating. When her food finally arrives, there's no silverware. Just... dropped off with no thought to the fact that she actually needed utensils to eat. We also ordered lemonade, which was great -- but when the waiter offered to bring more after the issues, it never came. To try and make up for things, they brought out a dessert that looked beautiful, but when we asked what was in it (due to food sensitivities), the waiter had no idea. He eventually came back with an allergy sheet, which felt like an afterthought rather than informed service. At that point, I asked to speak with a manager. Instead, the waiter told me, "I just got out of trouble -- what can I do to make this right?" That response alone was incredibly off-putting and unprofessional. We ultimately just had my daughter's meal removed from the bill and decided to move on. Even my puppy's waffles -- which was one of the things we were most excited about -- came out slightly burnt. Overall, the lack of communication, poor follow-through, and disorganized service completely overshadowed what could have been a great experience. It's disappointing because the space and concept have so much potential. Unfortunately, I can't overlook the service issues.
