I rarely leave negative reviews, but I feel obligated to warn others based on my experience. I ordered a laptop because I needed it to prepare for school. Instead of receiving my order, I was informed that my package was "lost" before it ever arrived. What made the situation even worse was the customer service. When I contacted the company for help, Salman Nasir was extremely rude and unprofessional. He raised his voice at me and spoke to me disrespectfully, despite the fact that I was simply trying to find out where my order was. As the customer, I did nothing to deserve being treated that way. After looking through other reviews, I noticed similar complaints regarding shipping issues, poor communication, and unprofessional customer service. My experience appears to be consistent with what others have reported, which is very concerning. If you're ordering something time-sensitive--especially for school or work--I would strongly recommend using a different seller. My order never arrived, I lost valuable time preparing for school, and the way I was treated was completely unacceptable. I hope the company improves its customer service and shipping practices because no customer should have this experience. read more

Think twice before coming here!!! I always try to resolve the issue with the business before posting to give them a fair chance but the owner was not budging on his bad business practices so here's the review. Came a couple months ago and talked with David to update my son's MacBook and was told it would be done in a day with an agreed upon price. Came back to the store after no call to get an update or hopefully pick up the laptop and it wasn't ready. Called in a couple times and more excuses on why it had not been done yet. Fast forward to over a month later and visited the store to see what the hold-up was and got the owner. First he could not find not only the paperwork or my information in the system but he also could not find the laptop till I described it. It was in the "unclaimed pile" as he said. Turned it on and it had not been updated, no work had been done! He apologized and offered to do it himself. Before finishing up the paperwork I asked to confirm the price of doing the update. He quoted me 3x's more than originally agreed upon. When I expressed that it was not the price David had given me he said "sorry but that is not what we charge and he'd talk with his employee" with no other option to make it right. Long story short, he kept my laptop for months, did not do the work, lost my paperwork and misplaced my laptop then did not honor the price his employee gave. I am not upset with the business owner for his employee but I am upset that he as a business owner in our community would not make this right. Choose for yourself where you want to spend your money but there are other options not far down the road. I will not be coming back and will make sure they are never recommended from me. I'm just glad I got the laptop back. No paperwork, no info in the system, easily could have claimed I was never there. read more

Took my PC here cause I was having an issue with my rig not POSTing. After reseating practically everything, and trying what I know, it still didn't POST. Talked to Sal (shortened) over the phone and ended up dropping off my PC at the shop shortly after. Picked up my rig the next working day and he advised both my RAM sticks went bad. Ordered new sticks, put them in, waited for the first POST to finish and now everything is back to normal. First time customer and definitely the last. For backstory my PC had horrible damage after being shipped to me from another party and I went to ASN Depot to fix the PC and get reimbursed by the other party. After quoting the repairs (basically a new build) the price seemed fair so I went through with it. I was offered to upgrade the motherboard for an additional $200, total cost for the motherboard repair & upgrade is roughly $450 (this total price will be important later) which seemed like a good deal at the time since it was a high end motherboard he offered and I could have used an upgrade at the time. Repairs & upgrades took quite a while especially since this was around the holidays so they were busy. Eventually got my PC in December and it all worked good and I was happy. Now it's June and a little over 6 months later and my PC doesn't start, I troubleshooted what it could be and it leads to the motherboard being the problem. I looked more into the motherboard on MSI's site and the manufacturer warranty for the board is expired which didn't make sense at first since the manufacturer warranty lasts a year unless the part is refurbished, then its 6 months (180 days). I looked up the motherboard model and the actual cost is $800 new, however I did find a listing for a refurbished motherboard of the same model for around $450 from guess who? ASN Depot. I can almost guarantee that they used a refurbished motherboard WITHOUT MY KNOWLEDGE on my PC and charged me the refurbished price for it so it seemed like a good deal. If it was a new board they would be losing $350 on the transaction which just isn't believable for a business. Do not go here, I went in with high hopes, got swindled, and now I have a dead PC and have to pay for a new motherboard myself. Not an honest business I must caution you all. Had I not checked my credit card statements, I wouldn't have known that Salman did not process the refund as promised black & white in his email to me. And took him another 3 months to refund a partial amount only. I had to contact my credit card company to dispute the charge in order to get the full refund. Salman might be a very knowledgeable IT person but definitely lacks integrity. I have contacted Walmart to challenge them on why continuing to let ASN Depot sell on their Walmart platform and screw people over. My son had a small piece of his ear pod plug stuck inside the little hole on his laptop. We tried to take it out with a tweezer, but weren't able to successfully. We stopped by ASN Depot and the guy working there (I think his name was David) was so helpful. He took the piece out in about 5 minutes and he didn't even charge me. All in all, a good experience. Device worked fine out of the box. There were some issues about getting it shipped, but that was a problem with FedEx, not ASN. Mr. Nasir got FedEx to finally pick up the package. I had to return the device, as it wasn't what I needed. USPS said they had delivered, and ASN said the package was not received. I think ASN may have misplaced the return package, but not sure of that. In any case, ASN credited the refund in total, with no re-stock fee. If a return must be made to ASN, include obtaining a signature when delivered. read more

I contacted Microsoft support and they said there was never a license associated with the hardware. Business would not provide activation information. DO NOT TRUST! I rarely write a review and it is usually for service above and beyond. Unfortunately, this organization did absolutely nothing to deserve praise and anyone purchasing from them should be wary. Right before Halloween, I ordered a refurbished laptop from this company. It was delivered within 5 days and everything looked clean. I plugged in and charged the battery and the laptop fired right up. Then the problems started. There was no boot record for Windows10 so I called the store to see what we could do to resolve the issue. They were extremely helpful and got me the patch I needed to reboot and reinstall Windows to this laptop. Despite downloading the patch, when trying to install this fix we discovered the hard drive was bad. Now, I understand that hard drives can go bad almost instantly and was not upset this had happened. Had ASN Depot decided to send me a shipping label and facilitated the return like almost every other company I have dealt with, no harm/no foul. Instead, they first suggested I replace the hard drive on the laptop myself. That wasn't going to happen. Then since I purchased this through Walmart Marketplace, they suggested I have Walmart facilitate the return because it is their policy to not send shipping labels when the products they sell become defective. I was given a very smarmy and condescending tone when told about this no return label policy. Unfortunately for ASN Depot, Walmart was unable to facilitate the return. I then called them back and received the same smarmy, condescending tone when I asked them to just provide the return shipping for their defective product. Again, I could understand ASN Depot not warrantying a 90+ day purchase but 1 day after receiving the product- Do better ASN Depot. Charged me almost $200 for a screen repair on an old phone, the phone took several days to be ready because they didn't pick it up from their "warehouse" in time, and on top of that the phone came back with ADDITIONAL damage that was not previously there when I took it to them. He tried arguing with me saying it wasn't his problem, that damage to the phone is inevitable when replacing the screen (WHAT?) and that if the damage bothered me so much that he'd order the new part. I told him let's do that, it's been weeks and nothing from them. Horrible experience, will not be returning. Very poor customer service. Employees have bad attitudes, and the owner doesn't do anything extra to help you out. Bought a computer, supposed to be new, but it has a bad battery. My thoughts are that they put together used crisp and sell it as new. When I went in he told me I had to send it in to manufacturer. After we spent $1500 on a laptop, we brought in another desktop having WiFi issues, and he wouldn't even look at it unless we gave $20. He looked at it for 30 seconds and saw that the WiFi usb was broken. Then wanted to sell a new one for $50 that I looked up on the spot and found at Best Buy for $15. I'm a first time buyer at Salman's business - very friendly; knows his stuff. I used to build desktops a few years back but didn't really feel like turning a purchase into a project. Salman quoted a new rig with my desired specifications at $2400. After doing a bit of component research, I felt that the purchase was reasonable and placed my trust in Salman's team. A week later, I was happily enjoying the new rig (and still am). I'll definitely be returning for any component upgrades in the future. Although, I may install them myself. I miss the novelty of using something I've put together. I enjoyed interacting with Salman and staff. Prior to the purchase, I of course went through yelp reviews, etc., and I can say by observation and personal experience, some of the negative reviews are by people who aren't very familiar with computer technology. I don't mean this in a negative way, but it's much easier to get disappointed in something that you understand than otherwise. During my initial experience, I asked Salman if he could install windows since he needed to do a full "rebuild". He said that a OS install was an additional $180 and would take 3+ hours to go through the bios's UEFI and install the needed drivers. I declined this service. Once getting home, I went through the bios. 7700k OC'd to 5ghz. Ram at 3200. 100% stable. This took 3 minutes. I installed windows via USB 3.0. This also took less than 5 minutes. Initializing 2nd hdd... 2 minutes. Finally, updated the drivers... bios, gtx1080, and windows managed its own updates... 5 minutes. TL:DR- Quoted time needed 3hr. Actual time needed: under 20min. This is aligned with my in-shop experience. I don't fault them for charging for a service. But the misrepresentation of the complexity of the task and time needed leads me to believe that the purpose is to justify the cost and/or reinforce the need for the service. read more

This place is a shit hole behind sprouts. I never knew this place existed until about a month ago. I bought a tablet pc (hp elite probook), and I noticed something a little odd. The bios was password protected, which is a red flag because it is supposed to be new. I have monitoring software that monitors the number of hours that the pc is powered on for. Out of the box, the hard drive has been on for 6 months. It was obviously used. These people are buying refurbished computers and are selling them as new. I complained and refunded the pc. But they wanted to charge me a $100 restocking fee. I yelled at the manager that they sold me a used piece of shit, which is fraud by the way. After a good 10 minutes of yelling at the manager, he decided to give me my full refund. Don't buy from here. They seem very nice, but don't buy that act. First time dealing with this business. Searched for a place that had decent reviews. Called at 3:30 for an estimate on a diagnostic. I expressed my concern for not leaving it until Tuesday. They assured me that there was plenty of time to do it on the same day. Sent my son down, he dropped it off and was told that they would call before closing since it was not known if they would be open on Monday. No call and they where closed when my son returned to pick it up. Now on Monday they are not open so I will not have my system until Tuesday I'm hoping.
