She was very professional and focused while working on my hair. My hair is short, and I feel like it's at the stage where it looks awkward when I leave it down. My hair is thick and I have a lot of it, so it's not easy taming this beast. Maggie did a wonderful job of listening to my concerns about my hair, and she took the time to style it afterwards. I got that done yesterday, and it's still holding up today. The atmosphere of this place is gorgeous! It reminded me of a swanky hotel. They had a mini fridge and a variety of snacks while you're waiting to be seen by the stylists. I'm new to Tucson. I spent $1600 getting hair extensions from a stylist who did not have the requisite skills to install them properly. After she finished, my hair with the extensions looked embarrassingly bizarre. The owners were contacted, but did not even ask for pictures of my hair; they do not stand behind the work performed by their employees. Instead of getting brutally ripped off and cheated, do what I did: had my extensions removed and new ones put in at Dakota London, Scottsdale. I've been going here on and off for years...actually, the only place that has cut my hair for years. My appt. was at 1:45 with Fionna...I arrived 5 min. early the girl at the desk said you're all checked in have a seat...I had a seat for 17 minutes and not one person came to help me. I am going to a 3-day wedding at a resort in Phoenix and wanted hair nails, pedi, and facial...the works. They made me sit there for almost 20 minutes while laughing and joking behind the desk completely ignoring the fact that I was just sitting there. I finally got up said please cancel this appt 17 minutes is much too long to be ignored...they all stared at me like I was some kind of monster...I quietly left and will never return. read more

I moved from Scottsdale in 2021 where I had a great person cutting my hair for many years. I have a simple short cut, but every hairdresser here in Tucson kept shaving the sides too short even when I showed them pictures of my previous cut. They are busy so you do have to schedule in advance for me it was 2 weeks and give credit card to hold apt which I wasn't thrilled with but understand. This salon is tucked away in a non-commercial area and was hard to find. My haircut was an average bob, cut a shorter than I had asked, and extremely expensive - with tip close to $100.00 It didn't really hold onto a shape a month later and I needed another cut (elsewhere). So the cost did not result in an especially better haircut. Coloring would cost about 180$ (here I found a $9.00 bottle from the drugstore to be effective). read more

She says that she works at Circa 79 so I called the salon and made an appointment, the process was so easy. Service: professional and quick, appointment was booked easily Ambience: beautiful salon with high ceiling, chandeliers, super cute decor, lots of modern equipment, big snack bar AND a coffee/tea bar. Parking: small private lot that has a decent amount of spots Special shout-out for my stylist Rashelle. She is so funny and talented. My hair was so dry and I had a super grown-out lob cut with a balayage that has not been retouched for 8 months. She toned my hair to a light brown color. Then, she trimmed my hair to take out some split-ends. But the magic did not end there... she gave me a haircut that frames my face better.
