There is something in the way that Chris cuts my hair that really works for me.. I am not too interested in the fashion of it all, but I do want a haircut that looks contemporary, it is easy to maintain looking good throughout the day, and doesn't cost too much. I learned about this salon from reading the Positive Reviews.. my daughter has dirty blond hair that she likes to keep bright. We have visited several "salons" in Tucson and yet NO one knows how to treat blond hair?? So after reading the reviews we decided to give Kelle at Circa 79 a try. I called this place because of the glowing reviews. Granted, I needed an emergency haircut & they got me in late in the day. The girl (Ashley) probably didn't really want to stay -- plus I am in that mature demographic, and not posh.( Why would I dress up to get a haircut?) My hair wasn't styled, in fact, I had just washed it so she could see what it is really like. She said she wanted to wash it anyway. I went to Circa 79 for the first time yesterday and had an appointment with Chris (one of the owners) I told him what I wanted and he knew exactly how to create it. He talked me through each step. It was so fun to see the transformation and I felt so comfortable and at ease throughout. Chris absolutely slayed my hair cut. He is a master of his craft. Just want to say this salon is beautiful. Everyone is very nice and friendly. SUPER CLEAN! I got my hair done at OTHER salons a few times and they ruined my hair so when I came here I was so skeptical... but let me assure you they blew me out of the water. I got my hair done by Dennisse and she was just amazing. I have never had a better experience anywhere else. This is the best salon in Tucson. The entire staff treats the customers like royalty. My regular stylist is Kelle, but Martha and Chris have also done my hair and they are equally wonderful. I got a great short haircut and highlights with Laura. I am very pleased with it. I also took my 16 year old granddaughter. Her long hair was trimmed by Ashley and she had "ombré" highlights done by Chris. She has never before liked how anyone styled her hair but she is super happy with both the trim and the ombré highlights.
