All of their employees are very knowledgeable and equally helpful. I do like that they have a great selection of potting soil and fertilizer and they provide guidance regarding which to use based on your purchase. I've purchased a number of roses, a dwarf magnolia tree, and a number of potted plants and all are thriving. The dwarf magnolia is at least 12 - 15 feet high now. These folks are a great alternative to the big box store at the corner of 183 and Chrystal Falls.

It's the kind of place where you come for a plant and end up staying for the vibes. Think of it as a garden center meets a peaceful mini outdoor museum. Everything is beautifully organized by plant type, making it easy to find what you're looking for...or, more likely, making it easy to get joyfully distracted while you wander. There are cozy benches for daydreaming, koi ponds full of personality, colorful lily pads that pop out and wave at you, and the kind of friendly staff that actually makes you want to ask questions. Inspiration? It's everywhere. From the water features, to the whimsical sculptures, to lush displays that make you rethink your whole gardening vision. There are restrooms if nature calls, and there are plenty of delightful garden goodies to buy/take home. There are statues, fountains, and water-dwelling plants. Koi fish and gold fish are available in different sizes and colors. They have potted trees with tags that indicate hardiness in different weather conditions. Herbs and other edible plants have their own section in front of the greenhouse. Inside the greenhouse you can find indoor plants. It's a pretty nice place to walk around and explore. There's not too much shade there, however. The rectangular ponds holding the water lilies also attract dragonflies that zip around there, so it's a nice place to watch them.

I am working to naturalize the yard and install more native plants that can withstand the hot summers of central Texas without requiring a lot of water. Terry, the owner, is super helpful and accommodating. He has a wealth of knowledge about which plants and trees will do well here in the Texas heat. The prices are very reasonable and considerably less than the nurseries in Austin proper. Terry had his guys deliver and install the trees and plants. They were on schedule, fast, and neat and cleaned up all of the mess before leaving. The trees have a guarantee too so I know that they will be okay or will be replaced if they don't catch on. Great service, highly recommended.

I don't know what our landscaper paid, but we paid almost $9K for these trees. Checked with both my landscaper, Pedro Abundis and Danny at Circle D on what can be done to replace the dead trees and neither company will help or take responsibility for the loss. We are just out 47 trees. Both companies do not guarantee or warranty the trees. We spent a lot of money on our landscaping with Pedro's Landscaping and the lack of customer service is just bad business. I will not recommend either company to any more of my customers, friends, neighbors or family. I am really disappointed.

Though prices are higher than at HEB or a big box, I continue there for the advice & availability of things like compost and rooting stimulant, and find the crew under Mark's daughter to continue the good advice; and the somewhat higher price but greater variety and knowledge plus my pricing for customers of 1/2 the retail price of their plants bought there make it work out very well for me; and I've just bought my second Sweet Bay for MY OWN yard, recently, when the first, which made great chicken soup, froze during one of the frequent "SnowVid '21," SnowPocalypse '23," deep-freeze events... While there, I couldn't help noticing all the great plants in their nursery. They had everything I usually see in all the beautiful landscaping around town, but can never seem to find. Bonus, they were also at a great price, so I picked up three that the owner suggested for shady gardens. They too are in great shape a month later and really thriving. Truthfully, it had been a hard year and we wanted to do something that would feel cheerful. We parked and as we were walking in someone collecting carts curtly said "we're closed". I said "oh, it says you close in 15 minutes" which she replied "yeah well, they're not going to sell you anything." Cool. We brushed it off and walked in and two employees looked at us and one said "we're closed now, not enough time to shop." So we said "we were just going to look at the Christmas trees for 5 minutes" and the woman shook her head clearly frustrated. We walked over to the Christmas tree aisle and stood in silence for a beat. My husband turned and said "this doesn't feel joyful anymore". We could have used any of the following: kindness, holiday spirit, or anyone to simply stfu and keep their misery to themselves. Instead we were called out to rudely by two separate employees. You can keep your overpriced home goods and we'll happily find somewhere else to shop.
