I can easily scan the QR code at the pump using their app and pay. Also with their app you can add the locations you use the most to your favorites and quickly see what current gas prices are. With a new car wash company popping up on every corner in CHS right now, I still use this locations if I have time. The only thing that I've found at this Spinx location (and many others) is they don't keep up on their lottery scratcher displays. They'll display that they have tons, but when you ask, they don't have the ones displayed. I'm sure it's an annoying part of the job to go around front and remove each card after it runs out, but if I worked there I'd find it more annoying getting asked every 5 seconds for something that's sold out.... The store owner told me that Exxon wanted to charge her over $1000 to fix it so she just tells customers that it isn't working. I no longer use pump number 6. So I haven't had any issue since. They are very nice but it can get busy if you have to go inside.

Lately, I've opted for this Speedway gas station over others in the area. The price of gas here is…read moreoften much cheaper than across the street, which means they don't increase prices to keep up with other stations. Speedway has plenty of parking if you just need to go into the store, and there's a lot of room between pumps, so it's not cramped and easy to manuver a larger vehicle. Inside, there's an ATM, some prepared gas station style foods (pizza, hot dogs, etc), and a good selection of snacks and other junk for the road. You can even get a F'real milkshake here, which is pretty cool. It's easy to get in or out from both Main Rd. or Savannah Hwy, although traffic often backs up since people turn onto Main Rd. because they don't know about the other entrance. Speedway's your average gas station and nothing special, but it's a good stop on your way down Hwy 17 to Charleston or Savannah or if you're heading down Main Rd. toward Kiawah.

The neighborhood market format is very shoppable and a much more pleasant shopping experience than…read morethe Supercenter format. While the neighborhood market only features groceries it has an expanded area of household cleaners, pet supplies, cosmetics, health & beauty and a full-service pharmacy. The store even has a large Walmart Fuel Center in the parking lot that's open 24 hours for credit/debit card purchases at the pump. This location only has self-checkouts. The only negative I've found during every weekly visit for 2 years is that the employees have zero customer service skills. I've never had a store employee speak to me. A "good morning", "hello", "how are you today" - something/anything goes a long way. There are always at least 5-10 employees out in the aisles stocking and standing in the self-checkout area and none of them ever acknowledge a customer - ever! Very, very unfriendly! Overall I do like this store and find it extremely convenient with highly competitive pricing and great gasoline prices. They also feature Diesel and Unleaded Premium with 93 octane. I wholeheartedly recommend Walmart Ladson Market!
