I have not been to Ciro' in a number of years and the ambience has changed for the better since the last time I ate here which was possibly as much as 20 years ago and it was at their old store. Actually, this particular restaurant is a vast improvement over their old restaurant from an ambience perspective. The food was ample it was by no means spectacular. However, I will be very frank that I am a product of New York hence a critic of Italian food. There was nothing that was objectionable. There was simply nothing that was outstanding. It was all reliable, and it was fairly priced both for the portions and for the food itself. It was Valentine's Day weekend the restaurant was moderately busy, and the service in my estimate saved the meal. It was quite attentive, very prompt and overall it was a pleasant evening. It is not the first place I would select because as I stated earlier, I am a critic of Italian food because I was raised on it in New York however, I find nothing objectionable and certainly it is a lovely ambience great service and so well worth the trip.

Back again! The service is impeccable. The menu is amazing and the happy hour specials are fabulous. I am still living my best life alcohol free and had the delicious Cherry Blossom. We snacked on a shrimp cocktail and our personal fav fried mushrooms. Andrea at the bar is a favorite of ours. She's cheerful, fun, and provides excellent service. Not pictured we brought home a spaghetti with meat sauce and added a meatball. This came with a perfect size salad. The restaurant is decorated for Valentine's and is absolutely charming.

Service was really great set at the bar on a Saturday afternoon. This pizza is out of this world and the best part is it gets done in six minutes from the fire oven for pizza. Am super chill it can be for families or just a cute date night. Separate bathroom for genders. Parking in front free

Nut allergy friendly: The staff are relatively cautious about allergies. The stuffed mushroom with pesto did have nuts but I was given sufficient warning about it. We arrived around 5PM on a Sunday evening for an early dinner and had no issues getting a table for 5. There is designated Ciro's parking along the side near Credence. Time to Appetizers: 10 Minutes Time to Entrees: 34 Minutes Time to Desserts/Receipts: A while, maybe 1 hr 20 minutes? (We stopped getting service for a while...) Complimentary bread and olive oil were brought out relatively quickly. The food was, overall, average American-style Italian food. By that, I mean extremely sauce and carb heavy. I think it is a strange choice to have chicken parmigiana with a white sauce linguini, since it is such a contrast in sauces. Portions are excellent and huge but the food quality itself is okay at best. My chicken parm was not that crispy, and the chicken wasn't the most tender. I avoided sharing any other dishes unfortunately since the rest of my table had various types of nuts (including the stuffed mushroom pesto appetizer) and the gelato had several kinds of nutty flavors to potentially cross-contaminate. Biggest downside is that we took a *long* time to get receipts. We sat around and probably finished an entire jug of water each while waiting for receipts to come. Overall, seems okay to cater from and come with the expectation of a big meal, but there are better Italian spots in town.

"Adoro IL Cibo Italiano" It is a beautiful and welcoming atmosphere. The staff are very friendly and teamwork is exemplified. The moment we walked in the door the hostess was very kind. She smiled offered her assistance and was very welcoming. Her presence alone made me feel like I had entered my own home and was greeted by my staff. What a great experience for a first timer. Hospitality is just as important is the food. Once we were seated the waitress (GABI) greeted us and offered recommendations. We were in a hurry to eat; therefore, we could not really enjoy the ambiance and atmosphere with good smells. First dish - Risotta and grilled chicken lunch portion. it contained about 4 slices of chicken with a large helping of risotta. Second dish - Shrimp and Softshell crab. The shrimp were devined and butterflied. Batter was amazing and good. The soft shell crab breaded was not as great, it was very brown as if the grease was old or the crab was cooked too long. Fries were parmesan and grated cheese along with parsley. There were so fresh and good. The pita bread with pesto and olive oil was amazing. As the waitress GABI returned with our to go order, I was getting my payment card for the check because the other party had to leave for work, She grabbed my plate, begin piling items from table on it without asking me if I was complete. I still had fries and half of my soft shell crab. Once I noticed it, she kept apologizing. I believe it was a honest mistake. The biggest take away is to ask guest if they are done with their meal.

I've been many times and I usually get the straw and hay Gina pasta - I always liked it. I decided to get something different - I wanted pizza. This pizza was pretty disappointing. The crust just tasted so fake I don't know how to describe it, it was not a good taste. The tortellini was also not very tasty. The risotto balls and the fried shrimp were good. The complimentary bread is good. The desserts were good as well. The service was good, our food took a bit to come out but the staff was very kind and friendly. The ambiance is great- we like to sit on the patio, they keep it nice and warm in the winter and they have a nice outdoor bar too.

Efficient lunch service all around. Our waiter was awesome (didn't need to write anything down and still remembered all our customizations/substitutions perfectly).. Started off with some fresh bread to go with the olive oil and it was really flavorful. (Big fan of the bread here). The food is pretty standard Classic american-style italian, a good variety on the menu with a featured lunch special section ..nothing particularly stood out but good portions. I tried out their Veal dish (with some customizations) + some pizza. My mother really enjoyed her customized vegetarian pizza because she's a big fan of the thin crust.. I liked the veal + seasoned asparagus.. the spaghetti I got extra was unfortunately not great.. it didn't taste very fresh and just didn't do much for me. Large parking lot and luckily parking wasn't an issue for me. Very family-friendly ambiance with a mix of the business lunch crowd. Beautiful decor inside and a patio as well. Overall, I give them big props for the excellent service and the restaurant was full for a Friday lunch.. As long as you don't have a super high expectation when it comes to Italian, this spot will do just fine. 4.4 / 5 today's visit.

Busy Saturday night but the service didn't skip a beat. Our glasses stayed full. Fresh bread. Hot appetizers. Wish the Calamari was a tad crispier than it was. The fried mozzarella was delicious with the perfect little bite size. For dinner, I had the chicken parmigiana. Huge portion which half of it came home. Definitely the right choices for me. Tasted a bite of the hay stack. Not really my vibe. But wasn't bad. The Alfredo better than their Vodka which is rare for me. I was too full for dessert night but will be back for it another evening.

came to Ciro for a beautiful party dinner in their private room and the ambiance was very cozy and Christmassy we started off with fried calamari and fried mushrooms as part of the Veneto menu. We also then had house salad with dressing on the side. for entrée, we picked Spinach Linguine Alfredo with Chicken - very buttery and creamy (basic but tasty). We also had the Veal Marsala (thin slices), served with Ziti Tuscano (good choice if you want more veggies) desserts options were Mama C (rich chocolate - i prefer this) and tiramisu. Tea, coffee and sodas are included in all host menus. service was fast and staff were very professional, they remember all little details given we were a big big group of 50ish. Restaurant was packed, i highly recommend to rsvp. Plenty of parking spaces near Memorial mall.

The best Italian food in Houston! Blown away by the family friendly vibes as well as the 10/10 tasting food! I'd recommend this place to all my family and friends! I ordered the spaghetti and boy was I in for a treat! The prices here a bit on the higher end but definitely worth it. After all, this is not fast food.

The interior is pretty casual with a full bar in the middle. Our server was friendly and made couple solid recommendations on appetizers. Two dishes stood out for me: Watermelon and tomato salad - this is my favorite thing from the dinner, the sweetness from the watermelon worked surprisingly well with the balsamic glaze and pesto, very refreshing. TexQueno - nice cheese stick made with Venezuelan cheese, paired well with the cilantro sauce. We also tried the shrimp ceviche, which was solid, but nothing too special. For the main, we went with pastas, which were let downs. For the Cioppino Linguini, the seafood was overcooked, the pasta texture wasn't great, and the dish tasted pretty bland and lack the garlicky tomato flavor you'd expect from a traditional Cioppino Linguini. The wild mushroom pasta had a bit heavy sauce, also not the best pastas, but the mushrooms were cooked well.
