I certainly want to help any business/restaurants that's trying hard to survive but today, one of them got me. Pros: they delivered from 7 miles away - for this I thank them. (Totally my bad, failing to notice the address. Time isn't an issue here.) Cons: chewy calamari fritter it's warmer than the pizza, which is just ok. And there is no napkins. Hello! I'm not sure why these reviews are so poor because we had a great experience! We ordered two pies and wings and they were delicious- The sauce was great, the cheese to sauce ratio was wonderful and the wings were real meat, perfect sauce ratio, the mild had a kick but not too much. Not only that but we were greeted very kindly upon entering, and the owner we presume, gave us additional slices since it was the end of the day. The ricotta with eggplant was great and I would have never thought I'd like it/ buy it, and the sausage one was delicious!! Please do not get fooled by the other poor reviews. This was great!! The chicken vodka and chicken parm slice has been two my favorite slices here since they opened. It is the correct amount of chicken and sauce combined the taste is unmatched. The service is fast as well as a very friendly owner as well as employees! I highly reccomend if you haven't tried ciros yet, to stop by and try it! read more

I wanted to support a new local business tonight... very bad decision! We ordered a pepperoni pizza, buffalo chicken pizza, salads and a sausage and pepper hero. The pepperoni pie was under cooked and the dough was still raw. The buffalo pie was tasteless with dried out chicken, salads were soggy and they forgot the dressing. The hero was fine, but nothing that would make us return. Now the worst part, whoever had the buffalo chicken pie, had stomach issues and ran to the bathroom. Luckily for me and my wife, we had the pepperoni pie, that we finished cooking in our home oven... best advice is stay far away!!! read more

Great pizza, hospitable owner, excellent rolls and calzones as well. Try their special buffalo chicken roll. Have never seen this at another place and it beats any buffalo chicken wrap that I've ever had. read more

My mom ordered a salad, my dad ordered a chicken roll. Let me start by saying the lettuce on my moms salad was surely inedible. It looked as though it was weeks old, it was disgusting. We called to let them know how unhappy we were. My dad said his chicken roll was fine. So if you come here, do not order the salads. They are not fresh. read more

Man do I really really miss Gennaro's pizza and his wife Sandra. Look I was born and raised in Brooklyn where the best pizza is made we moved to the North Shore 20 years ago from the city. This new place Ciro's their pizza tastes like shit. The pie is loaded with cheese a little sauce and a rubbery pizza dough. McDonald's could make better pizza than this place I'd rather eat Papa John's than Ciro's pizza. read more

Very disppointed in the pizza! Ciro's Pizzeria replaced Gennaro's which closed due to health issues of the owner. Gennaro had the best tasting, most flavorful pizza on Long Island! This pizza is nothing exceptional or special...it Is simply a "generic" pizza or a "commercial" pizza. Nothing unique or especially tasty. Dough, cheeese, sauce and some spices, that's all it is. It is not a pizza that I would ever order again. This area waited for months for Gennaro to reopen after his vacation. Unfortunately...Gennaro did not reopen. We waited a few more months for the grand opening of Ciro's Pizzeria. In my opinion, it was not worth the wait. I don't understand all of these negative reviews but I can tell you that these are all wrong. I have been going to their East Meadow store for years even though I live in Glen Cove because of their amazing food and I'm so happy they opened a new store in Glen Head because it's much closer to my house. Their pizza is incredible and the dinners/catering never fail to please my family and I. Best Italian in the North Shore!! Try the Chicken Parm and Penne Ala Vodka! read more

I don't understand the negative reviews! I am very happy that Ciro's is now in glen head. When I walked in they were soooo friendly and welcoming! Very nice people who were ready to help. I got a chicken roll and it was delicious! Looking forward to trying more. read more

First of all not a fake review. My place of work orders weekly from here and they never fail to satisfy. Staff is helpful and the owner is very friendly. We have large orders and on rare occasion when there's an issue with an order it is taken care of promptly. Glad to have them in the neighborhood read more
