Consistently great food no matter what we order! The portions are generous and we usually order a variety for sharing. Delivery is friendly, fast and reliable. The restaurant offers casual outdoor seating in warmer seasons or indoor service. The Chef always comes out to say hello and check on us- who does that anymore?? Our favorites are the chicken francaise, the wings, and the burgers, and yet everything is tasty. The spinach egg drop soup is also yummy and hearty, although is a bit on the salty side. It's our all-around go-to place!

First tried this place out when I was starving at some Harry Potter event. Grabbed a few plain slices and an upside down Sicilian vodka slice. Wow was I blown alway, the pizza was so good we made our way back the following weekend to get pickles at a farmers market and pizza for lunch. Since the vodka slice was so good I had to try this out in a chicken roll so I grabbed on of those, a plain slice and some garlic knots. I was not disappointed as everything came out fantastic. Staff themselves were interesting but the food kore than makes up for lack of personal skills.

I came here with my friend for the Sunday bottomless brunch. It was $65 for all you can drink, pastries, fruit, dessert, and an entree. The drinks included bellinis, mimosas, screwdrivers, and bloody marys. The brunch started with a basket with muffins, bagels, and fruit pastries and a plate of fruit with Nutella to dip it in. For the entree, I got the Eggerything Pizza and it was very good. When it was time for dessert, we were both so full (and tipsy) we turned it down. The drinks were alright. The bellinis were just prosecco with grenadine in it, not peach. Both the screwdriver and bloody marys were made with Sea Ice, which is *literally* the cheapest vodka you can buy. The screwdrivers were good. However, the bloody mary was so salty it was undrinkable. The ambiance in the restaurant was not really what I was expecting from brunch. There were 5 TVs with 3 different things playing, which I found pretty distracting. Our server was very nice and was always checking in on us. Overall, I would recommend the bottomless brunch.

The downtown has everything you could ask for in a restaurant. Great staff, good atmosphere, familiar yet varied menu, and best of all consistently great food. Perfect place to bring family or friends, or just hang out at the bar. Special shout out to the best waiter, Noah Kolbert!

This is my favorite pizza in Glen Cove/surrounding areas. When I first moved out here I was on a hunt for a "NYC" slice and this is where I come to get my pizza fix. Never burnt, always delicious sauce to cheese ratio and absolutely love the fluffy crust! I get wraps etc too which taste great as well

Large regular pie at downtown pizzeria. Seriously look at the all the tiny bubbles (and the big ones) in this crust. It's just amazing.

The shishito peppers were blistered just right with great flavor and a little kick. Simple, but done well. The smash burger was the standout. Cooked perfectly with a great sear, juicy inside, and topped with melty cheese and pickles that balanced everything. Add the truffle fries and it was game over. Crispy, flavorful, and generously seasoned. The Greek salad was fresh and bright, with good quality feta and olives. A solid, refreshing balance to the heavier dishes. Service was exceptional. Attentive without hovering. The decor is warm and stylish, great energy without being too loud.

We were seated immediately in the room toward the back left corner where we were the only table occupying the space. In fact, as the evening progressed, no other diners/groups were seated back there, which was nice. We observed that although it was a Friday evening at prime dinner hour, the restaurant never got too full nor was the bar area buzzing. Again, it was nice that it wasn't so hectic in there, but we noted that as curious for a spot like this, on a Friday evening, and when the weather was pleasant. Starting with a high point: our server was really good. He was a very nice young man who let us know at the end of our meal that it was actually his first day on the job. While we could tell he didn't know everything about the menu - which is totally understandable given him being a new hire - he was kind, personable, and went above and beyond to provide excellent and timely service. As for the venue, it was nice although not upscale and that was just our speed for this evening. We loved having the room to sit comfortably at a setup that could comfortably seat 8. As for the food, it was decent although I wouldn't call anything I tasted fantastic. For apps, we shared 2 orders apiece of calamari, crab cakes, and lamb chops (6 apps total) with the chops being my favorite out of those. The calamari were small and didn't pack a lot of flavor but they were fried well. The marinara sauce that came with it was also fine but not remarkable. The crab cakes were a little mushy for our liking. For my entrée, I ordered the Lobster Rigatoni. There was plenty of lobster on top, the portion was more than solid, and it came out at the right temperature but the flavor again failed to really impress and was somewhere between "fine" to "good". For dessert, I ordered the chocolate lava cake, and I was truly disappointed by that. For starters, there was no gooey "lava" as the name implied, and the edges were dry and seemed overcooked. The flavor again fell a little flat and I didn't bother to finish it even though I am usually a huge fan of chocolate desserts. All in all, we had an enjoyable evening as a crew, but the food could be elevated a bit from a flavor standpoint. I would give the food a little better than a "3" but I think they have enough going for them that amping up the flavors could do wonders for their desirability and drawing more diners.

Then, we didn't see our waitress for a long time until we finally asked the water guy to ask her to stop by. Which took a while again. We ordered more drinks. My son's soda was flat and my old fashioned tasted like it had a bite like rye vs bourbon, but I ignored it and drank it. About halfway through it changed to sweet - but so sweet it was like drinking syrup. It was never stirred so the bottom half was undrinkable. We asked for our waitress to get the check, and asked her to remove the flat soda and my old fashioned. She brought the check, nothing was removed. I explained again and asked the drinks to be removed. Next the bar manager came to our table. She explained to me how old fashioneds are made, that they're never stirred. And some people sip them, some drink them with a straw. I've drank old fashioneds for many years. They are always stirred. And never drank with a straw. But she claimed she's made these for years. Someone else came and told us she could take off the soda but not the old fashioned. I said I only drank half as they took it away. Well they won't take it off. So I asked for half my drink back if I have to pay for it. They gave me a new small drink. It was terrible. We paid the check, tipped the waitress in cash (she did nothing wrong other than being too busy). I cannot get over the bar manager speaking to me that way. We will not be back.

The restaurant, Gatsby's Landing, draws its name from the romantic nostalgia of The Great Gatsby. Situated near the Long Island Sound and Roslyn Pond, the setting offered a beautiful waterfront ambiance. My wife opted for the Baby Roasted Beets Salad, Salmon, and Crème Brûlée, while I chose the Lobster Bisque, Squid Ink Tonnarelli, and Tiramisu. The menu highlights their commitment to fresh, organic, and locally sourced ingredients - a promise they certainly delivered on. The dishes were both delicious and generously portioned. It was clear the kitchen doesn't skimp on quality; for instance, the lobster bisque was loaded with tender lobster meat, the squid ink tonnarelli featured an abundance of blue crab, and the salmon was a substantial, thick-cut fillet. The chef clearly possesses a mastery of technique, knowing exactly how to pair garnishes and balance flavors in perfect harmony. Furthermore, the waitstaff was both diligent and courteous. We can see why this establishment is so popular--the combination of exceptional cuisine, attentive service, and the serene lake views is hard to beat. However, there is one area for improvement: the restaurant should consider replacing their current chipped plates with larger, more elegant dinnerware. High-quality presentation would better reflect the dignity and caliber of the food they serve.
