Worst customer service…read more Purchased 2 tickets in advance for a Friday show. Unfortunately we had a death in the family and was unable to attend. We called the theater Wednesday morning, hoping to either receive a refund or tickets to another day/show. We recieved no return phone call. We left multiple messages before we finally reached someone, because we called them. We even stopped in the theater on Thursday evening to try to speak with someone (while they had a show going on) and there was no one at the front desk or anywhere for the matter. Finally got a call the following week with the option to see a show THAT NIGHT.... mind you we both work full time.... because that was the "only option"... we had to pass. Now we're out of $50 Thanks for nothing. We won't ever return to your establishment.

I was pleasantly surprised to find out that Walnut Street Theatre is the oldest theatre in America and it's the only theatre that's been operating continuously as a theatre since it opened in 1809! We have seen some amazingly talented people there and have enjoyed almost everything I've seen except... I got to see Hollystalk or how a mistake led to a great Christmas. Welllll, that has to be the weirdest, worst play I ever saw. We walked out after first act. Oh and don't bring the kids as there are some vulgar references from the star in drag.
