But then they started letting people in again? It was really confusing. I don't think their parking situation is very good. Wonderful production with some of the best voices I've heard on at a smaller venue. Sound quality is good. The Live band up on stage is really cool. Makes it great with the acoustics of the room. There were some points where I felt like maybe the mics weren't quite attached to the person's head correctly and it got a little too far away from their mouth. I think that's bound to happen when the actors are seen in dancing. Seats were pretty comfortable. It was super easy and quick to get in even though it was jampacked. Nice little courtyard where you can wait until they open up. The men's room is not my jam. I hate that pee trough instead of a urinal. Pretty cool that you can walk straight into the restaurant after the play. Perfectly centered in all the little shops. Next time, definitely wanna catch another show and make a day of it in this area.

I have found…read morethat even the not-great shows ("Mother Courage and Her Children, I'm talking about you) the energy and passion that local productions brings to the stage is wonderful. I came to visit DCP Theatre because one of my dear friends was directing a play there, and one of my favorite sequined jackets was making it's theatrical debut in her play. Yes, I gave a big round of applause for that jacket. The theater itself is decently sized, with a large flat gravel parking lot, a cute lobby and comfortable seating. I don't think there's a bad seat in the house. The volunteers were to a person friendly and accommodating, and the 'snack bar' of home-made and packaged goods was reasonably priced. It's an older building, which they've been working to restore and upgrade with the funds they earn producing plays, holding raffles, etc. The play itself was funny, well directed (yes I am biased here), and a good pace. It never dragged, the actors were wonderful and I had a great time. I'm looking forward to visiting again soon.

A small local theater (that only fits about 130 people) has a friendly staff on and off stage. This theater was about 40 minutes from NE Philly, but worth the trip! We ended up getting seats up in the balcony so we had the chance to see everything, every detail of the ballet was viewed. The ballet was amazing! The dancers put on an awesome show and the production of the show was amazing as well. Everything from the music, to the concerts was well put together and I was stunned by how swiftly the dancers twirled and glided across the stage. The stage area was intimate and spacious, and surprisingly the seats were comfortable up in the balcony section.

The Roxy Ballet is housed in, what is called, The Canal Studios, way down on the end of Union St. in Lambertville. The performance space is very intimate, which we loved. There is a large parking lot around the back of the building, where the entrance is. Once inside at the theater we were warmly greeted and shown to our front row seats. The Ballet is supported by, in part donations. They also have classes for young people. F and I were so close to the dancers, we were able to see the whites of their eyes. All the performances were emotional and heartfelt. We love see such wonderful talent so close to home and on such an intimate level. Looking forward to the next show.

There is a feeling of community amongst the parents, and everyone celebrates each others' successes. It's well worth our 35 minute drive three times a week for us, because we know our daughter is part of a studio that is interested in her dance education rather than just our wallet. Shows are Broadway quality, costumes are tasteful and appropriate, and the choreography is outstanding. The studio itself is homey and gorgeous. You seriously cannot find better in the Bucks County area!
