    Short Rib Philly

Boy was this a good spot to visit. The Short Rib Philly was really large and delicious. Definitely a messy eat and the fries were plentiful. I'd definitely come back but the prices are slightly high.

A-MAZ-ING!!! We tried this food truck at the Denver Bazaar and we were really impressed. I got the Tandoori Chicken Sandwich and my friend got the Pork Belly Bahn Mi. Both were delicious! Great service and nice fresh food!

    Clam chowder soup

I ordered clam chowder, and it was some of the beat soup I've ever had. Amazing that it's sold out of a good truck. The one complaint would be the price. $15 for a soup is very steep, but admittedly worth it.

Super good! Really enjoyed their food. The Burger and Tots are great, the pasta was tasty and the shrimp and grits were good.

This was my first Culinary Dropout experience which was on a date night and dinner outing. There was ~45 minute wait for a table as it was "dinner rush hour" before the weekend. We were seated in the bar area at a high top so we were very close to live music performer! So that was an enjoyable portion of the experience! The interior was dimly lit, loud and lively, and offered a rustic but modern feel. Based on this experience, food was overpriced and mediocre. We tried the fish and chips ($23) and fried chicken ($26). We were disappointed the fish and chips were not served with fresh lemon to "baptize" the fried fish. Fries were limp and didn't seem fresh. Also thought the fried fish should have had a crispier crust. The fried chicken was good flavor and texture on fried crust but the white meat was very dry. Mashed potatoes and gravy were lukewarm and not served hot. Also I tried to season the mashed potatoes but the pepper grinder at the table was completely empty. Biscuit was dry, overcooked, and lacked butter. Probably will opt for other options next date night.

The lamb was in the form of a soup and while not the best it was pretty good. The hangar steak was well prepared and really tasty. My husband and I shared it. The lamb (soup form) was not good or sharing. Probably would go back but only if we are downtown Denver and have extra time. It's a bit out of the way for us.

Absolutely Exceptional…read more Jack's on Pearl exceeded every expectation. As Texas transplants, we've enjoyed some incredible steakhouses over the years and have traveled extensively, but this was truly one of the best dining experiences we've had. We even drove up from Colorado Springs for our 18th wedding anniversary, and it was worth every mile. We started with the wedge salad, which was fresh, crisp, and packed with flavor--easily one of the best wedge salads we've ever had. The warm bread service was incredible and paired perfectly with the house-made spreads. The mac and cheese was rich, creamy, and absolutely unforgettable. The highlight of the evening was the Wagyu steak topped with cheesy potato croquettes. It was cooked to perfection and so tender it practically melted in your mouth. Every bite was packed with incredible flavor and was one of those dishes you continue talking about long after the meal is over. What impressed us most was that every single item we ordered was exceptional. The quality of the ingredients, attention to detail, presentation, atmosphere, and service were all top-notch. After reading some of the reviews beforehand, we weren't sure what to expect. In our experience, this restaurant is incredibly underrated. Our meal, service, and overall experience were outstanding from start to finish. If you're looking for a special dinner, anniversary celebration, or simply one of the best meals you'll have in Colorado, Jack's on Pearl is absolutely worth the visit. We will definitely be back and will be recommending it to friends and family. Thank you to the entire team for making our 18th anniversary so memorable. -- Andrea & Sergio

We were so excited for this, but SHEEP was incredibly disappointing. The "main" portions were very small (2 small-ish prawns as a main) in a 4-course menu. None of the dishes were standout. I thought the tomato starter was interesting; my husband said the bread was the best course :/ . Dessert was really weird - beautiful, but it had such an off-putting taste. I only ate a few bites and the rest was trashed, untouched. (Same with most of the prawn dish.) One was the biggest issues was that service was lacking overall. No one checked for dietary restrictions or allergies at the start of the meal, which definitely should have been done. After the starters, service got very slow (without anyone coming to explain the delay) and silverware sat uncleared between the main and dessert course. It was difficult to hear the explanations of each course and the server, though friendly, quickly ran through a laundry list of ingredients and sometimes seemed to struggle to remember all of them. After the first course, I'd also asked for flowers to be left off future dishes (though beautiful, it was a dietary restriction that I needed followed), but the prawns came coated in blossoms, so we barely had any of that dish. No one explained until it was cleared that they were chive blossoms. I'll also note the flower garnish is present in every dish and prominent in many dishes, and not included on the menu. After all of this, a hefty bill arrived with a mandatory 22% tip and a service fee for dining on the rooftop, where the restaurant is located. Really disappointed. The experience has put this once-longtime fan off this restaurant group.

Outside, there appeared to be some construction going on where there'd be outdoor seating, but it was too hot anyway so we wandered on in. It wasn't busy when we arrived, 1 party visible (later I realized there was another section with customers.) Cute decor with plenty of seating. Our server immediately greeted us and seated us right away. The brunch menu wasn't too overwhelming and she went over the specials. Ultimately, we ordered the following: Artichoke tortelloni Eric's bao-nuts Gabe's chronic chicken salad sandwich Rioja Benedict Colorado lamb burger From beginning to end, all the dishes were exceptional! Everyone loved their meal! The artichoke tortelloni was enough as an appetizer for a party of 4. Apparently, we ordered a "desert" with the Eric's bao-nuts to start everything off. This in itself was so good, I'd go back just for this if I had the chance. I personally had the colorado lamb burger. I generally tend to eat light and don't finish my meals in one sitting. This definitely wasn't the case. The presentation for the burger caught my attention as well. We were so happy with our meals that we decided to get a "2nd desert", the flourless fudge torte. We started with the Queso Fundido as an appetizer. It came out quickly and was absolutely delicious! For dinner, my daughter and I decided to share two entrées: the gluten-free Fish & Chips and the gluten-free Lobster Mac & Cheese. The Fish & Chips were some of the best gluten-free fried fish I've ever had, crispy, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. The Lobster Mac & Cheese was also very good, although it was quite rich, so a little goes a long way. The gluten-free pasta they used held up really well and had a great texture.
