The decor was simple, nothing was a wow factor. Does take away from the it being cute. Customer service: the lady that helped us was nice, but didn't notify us there would be a surcharge. What's it for? Card? Cakes? Takeout? Just notify me. Food: I got two cupcakes $7 per. 1 brownie $6.50. 1 cake pop and one almond croissant. Total $35 and some change. For those prices I would expect my food to not be spoiled. It was the matcha cupcake. The bread and strawberry were soured. The only thing we ate and finished was the brownie. And it tasted weird. Everything else was split between 4 people and even then half of everything was thrown away. $35 and spoiled.

The moment I walked in, I was surprised by how quiet and cold the atmosphere felt. It didn't feel welcoming or cozy like a bakery usually does. Instead, it felt more like walking into an office waiting room. Unfortunately, the service made the experience even worse. This was my first time visiting in person, so I had a few questions about the different cake flavors. The girl with braces seemed impatient the entire time and kept trying to rush me while I was speaking. At one point, she even exchanged a smirk with the other employee, which made me feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. I honestly didn't understand the attitude. In the end, I ordered the same raspberry cake because I completely lost interest in trying anything else. Ironically, this time the cake tasted way too sweet for me. I even tried eating it cold straight from the fridge to tone down the sweetness, but it was still overwhelming. Overall, the combination of the service and the cake not tasting as good as before made this visit disappointing.

The handwriting on top seems sloppy and this is not how writing is portrayed on the website. Also, I thought it was going to be fondant-decorated since the cakes on display were fondant and I specifically asked if the fondant would get dewy in the fridge. Finally, I ordered vanilla filling, but since this was my first time ever ordering a custom cake, I didn't know I needed to specify buttercream or bavarian cream, nor was it asked for clarificafion by the person taking my order. So the filling was also not what I expected. The funfetti cake tasted good, and the shells were beautiful and very realistic. 3 stars instead of 2 since my daughter still loved it and the design/color matched my request, but room for improvement and customer satisfaction. Heading towards wine country, it was along the way off the 60. Made it easy as it was a couple minutes off the freeway. It's located in a pretty massive strip mall with loads of other businesses. Plenty of parking which is alway a good thing whenever you're somewhere. Simple storefront but once you walk inside the place was pretty big. On side of the bakery is where the pastries and baked goods are. If you haven't been to one of the chain stores, you grab a tray and help yourself to the package sweets. There's rows and rows of fresh baked daily goods. Every piece is individually wrapped. Not only sweets, there's also sandwiches which I didn't even know they had. Along the front where the cashier is, whole cakes and slices are available. Once you finished picking out what you want, take the tray to the counter and that's where they ring things up. Drinks can also be ordered there. I did pick up a couple of boxes of the individual pastries and sweets. Both savory and sweets. A while strawberry cake and two drinks. That came up to about 108.00. The staff were all pretty sweet and friendly. I overheard one of the other cashier asking another patron if they wanted something heated up. Which I asked the cashier that was ringing my order up but she couldn't heat my croissant up as it wasn't the pre wrapped sandwiches. Only sandwiches could be heated up. Oh well. As I ordered drinks, which the other half of the cafe is the dining area. First off, the place was pretty massive and majority of the space in the middle isn't utilized. Just an open space which the could have added more tables for seating. Even though there was good amount of people working the drinks counter, it took forever for our drinks to be ready. It seemed like only one person was making the drinks which I think took at least 10 minutes for my drinks to be ready. Overall, it a nice space and the shelves were fully stocked. Come first thing as you know everything should be fresh and available. Downfall, it took forever for drinks to be made and it wasn't that busy when we walked in.
