Worth Every Penny - Phenomenal Ice Cream & Fun Atmosphere!…read more The first time I ever tried Lappert's was out in Vegas, and I was hooked immediately. They were so generous with their portions for a surprisingly low price. I ordered a banana split back then, and they doubled every single scoop! On top of that, the ice cream quality is fantastic; it holds up great and doesn't melt into a soup right away. When I heard they opened a location right here in Redlands, CA, I knew we had to go check it out. The Redlands store did not disappoint! The tropical vibes inside are super fun, and the ice cream and treats are just as incredible as I remembered. We grabbed a loaded banana split and a Dole Whip dessert. This was our experience there: https://youtu.be/70kBbH4qrxg?si=Eor-KcPbmZIphZy1

Fail! I have wanted…read moreto try Lapperts ice cream for a long time. My lady and I visit State Street in Redlands often to walk, eat, and visit the shops. It was a very hot Saturday and some ice cream sounded good. The hours posted state they open at 11am. It was 11:30 and the doors were locked, no employees in sight. Odd, as the lights were on, and the sidewalk signs were out. At least 7 other patrons also tried to enter and all of us were frustrated. With the insulting prices they charge, it might be best to be open and serve customers. After reading a lot of negative reviews it looks like a return visit will not happen. Too many other places to get a cool refreshing treat.

Watching the liquid nitrogen ice cream process was seriously cool, such a unique experience. The two women working behind the counter were fantastic; they were super friendly and offered us samples to help us decide (much appreciated because everything sounded so good!). I went with the fresh mint chip ice cream in a waffle cone and loved every bite. My husband ordered a root beer float with a non-dairy salted caramel-type ice cream (can't quite remember the exact flavor name, but it was delicious!). We took our treats to go and enjoyed them while walking to the car, already talking about how unique and fun this spot was. Unique experience, great service, and fantastic ice cream. Definitely recommend stopping by if you're in Redlands!

Not a huge menu but they had a good mix of both classic and unique flavors which I appreciated. I thought the mini size was a good amount of ice cream and I could've shared just that with another person since I wasn't in a huge ice cream mood. The ice cream here is def pretty thick and creamy which I liked Avocado: 4/5 this was very fresh and I liked the ice cream itself a lot. Didn't love the honey on too but that's just personal preference Salted caramel: 4/5 slightly too salty for me but my boyfriend thought it was perfect

Bahama Bucks, the last of its name in Southern California, is, on my opinion, the best shaved ice place. Period. Been to multiple locations on Oahu and Maui as well, and I'll still take Bahama Bucks. What makes it so different? It's the shaved ice itself. It's just different, once the tutoring touches it, the texture changes to this smooth, almost creamy, texture, yet still shaved ice. And with a plethora of flavorings, and the it's I've tried (Cherry, Strawberry, Mango, Pink Lemonade, Tigers Blood), it just transforms into this luscious dessert. There are also around five different sizes you can get. The small is a good size for I've person, though the regular will be here if you're hungry. Bigger than that and it is made for two people. If you live in the area, definitely go to Bahama Bucks and enjoy their amazing shaved ice. Your mouth will be glad you went

Glad I did because it was fresh & delicious. I ordered a Build-A-Sandwich & you will see in my picture how fresh & well stacked it was. Sandwiches come with chips. I also ordered a Village Mango ice tea which topped off the meal. It was refreshing with the splash of pineapple & mango pieces being a treat at the end of the drink. The 2-workers were very friendly & served me within 5-minutes after I filled out my sandwich order. Of course I got some chocolate to go but I gotta try the peanut brittle next time.

Also got a pecan popcorn bag and some white chocolate over honeycomb. Everything tasted like it was from the 10-day old bakery. All the cookies were stale, hard, and lacked flavor. The popcorn was chewy and also lacked flavor. The white chocolate honeycomb was hard and just not good. Every item we bought couldn't be finished because it was stale and just plain unappetizing. We ended up throwing everything out. So disappointing. Had to go to Cookie Crumble to satisfy the craving. Was trying to keep it local without going to a chain, but there was no comparison. Do better Village Candy. We want to support our local businesses but the quality has to be there.
