I have been twice. You join an order line. After your order is ready, your name is called & you go to the counter to retrieve your food. The ambiance is like a warehouse. The first time I ordered a pulled pork sandwich, which was good. The beans were good, but not as good as 4 Rivers. The 2nd time I ordered a "Not Your Sloppy Joe" sandwich. It was outstanding. I would go back again for this sandwich. Green beans were my side. They were seasoned with onions & bacon, etc. For dessert I ordered a peach cobbler. It was a little too sweet for me, but I would rank it as awesome. You receive a generous warm portion. I would definitely return for this. It is a treat to view the big smokers. read more

They're not just talking smack they do make a very good barbecue and all meats too. I think food was prepared particularly well, but the brisket is just out of this world! However, I believe if they're not careful, they will price themselves out of business... Remember, this is barbecue after all it's not a steak place, not a steakhouse. It's not a seafood house where you expect to have pretty scenery and spend $35-$55 a person. If you're not careful how you're ordering you could easily spend $50 to $60 For two people! I think that's too much for barbecue but maybe that's just me. read more

We went to City bbq and wasn't bad but wasn't also super good. The texas bread was the best, I ordered ribs and they were not bad but definitely very salty. In general not bad experience just not my favorite option. The restaurant is new so it was very clean and well decorated. Good spot to hang out. Service was ok, not excellent read more

Can someone rescue this place? Went nextdoor to the chicken establishment. Outside/inside dining at capacity. Drive thru empty and inside customers bare at 1800 at city bbq. What is happening. Huge fan of BBQ and was excited to try this place. Service and facility looked great. Big fan of a drive thru option. However the food just didn't taste good. The pulled pork sandwich was really wet (like soggy) and tasted more store-bought than backyard bbq. The baked beans tasted so burnt I couldn't continue eating them. Also sad to see the second ingredient of their signature BBQ sauce is high fructose corn syrup just kills it all for me. Would recommend supporting your local BBQ spots instead of the bigger chains. read more

Went for friends and family and had a wonderful meal. I went back to try again and it was unfortunately sub par. After a several minute awkward ordering conversation in the drive thru, the chicken sandwich was very dry, not like the first time I had it and the sides were very oily/greasy. They're still new and learning so I will try again, but after they've had some time getting any kinks out. Hopefully the inconsistency will be a one off. read more

The food was incredible! We had the brisket sandwich, fried chicken sandwich, and the pulled chicken sandwich with Mac & cheese, fries and cornbread as the sides for the meals and everything was fresh, juicy and flavorful. The sauces are worth the trip alone! We also tried a sampling of the peach cobbler, chocolate cake, and the banana pudding desserts and they were another highlight. All of that said the biggest delight was the service, the staff and management were so attentive and welcoming, we felt like family from the second we walked in the door. We were ambling around the area trying to find a quick dinner and we saw the City Barbeque parking lot was busy so stopped by, turns out it was friends and family night but we were welcomed in and made very welcome. Limited menu for the night but no charge, we sampled nearly everything, I had the burnt ends equivalent which was great, wife had pulled pork sandwich which was good. We tried all the sides which were good, wife says Mac & cheese which was good and the coleslaw and potato salad were highlights for me. Deserts were good, peach cobbler and chocolate cake quality and who can say no to chocolate chip cookies. Everyone there was very friendly, obviously very clean as new but it looks like a winner And true rival to other bbq in the area. We will be back read more

Hours are wrong. Just walked up to the door 2 hours before closing and team was closing up for the day. What I found to be incredibly rude was as I was knocking on the door, The people inside could not even look up and let me know that they were closed. I ordered for Super Bowl Sunday. The beef brisket had good smoke flavor, ribs were good but not fall off the bone tender. Coleslaw was really good, great flavor and texture. The barbecue beans and peach cobbler in our opinion had way too much sugar in them. They were sickening sweet. Prices seemed high compared to other barbecue places we've eaten at. read more

We drove up from Miami for Two things City Barbeque and HHN, and we weren't disappointed. The food was great. The staff was quick to get the food out. The brisket was super tender and juicy with great flavor. The ribs were flavorful and tender. The potato salad was creamy, and tangy, best I've had in a while. The pulled pork was tender, and juicy. Though we wished it had a little more smokey flavor but with a little BBQ sauce it worked. Our only complaint was the cornbread was over cooked and very dry. Great food!! We were sad we missed out on the turkey, but it gives us a reason to go back! We had ribs, chicken, and pulled pork tacos. The okra was delish! The fried pickles were sooo good! We visited CB in South Carolina and we were hooked. Their sausage is so tasty and crunchy on the outside. The ribs are to die for, their bread omg. We then found out one was opening in Winter Park and we HAD to go. We tried their ribs (AMAZING AGAIN), corn bread and last but not least their peach cobbler *that gets 10/10! We returned again today and we had their wings, Not a Sloppy joe sandwich, mac n cheese, hush puppies and The famous Peach cobbler. Let me tell you EVERYTHING was on point! The peach cobbler was better than the last one we had and I didn't know it could get any better! This place is amazing and I hope they don't change but only for the better. I ordered the 2 meat sampler. The brisket and the sausage. Brisket was tender and the sausage was ok, but neither of them had a slow smoked flavor I enjoy, so I used the sweet city sauce, that was nice and made everything more enjoyable. read more
