I dare say it was almost as good as barbeque you'd have from Texas. Got the city sampler - Turkey, sausage, brisket and pulled pork with beans and slaw. Turkey - Surprisingly good. Not dry at all and was a good moist to it Sausage - Delicious. Can't go wrong with sausage. However, was a bit salty. Brisket - I love brisket and it was fantastic. Again, bit salty but I still enjoyed it. Pulled pork - So generally, I am not a fan of pulled pork but this was pretty good. Again, bit salty but I still enjoyed it. This is a new local spot in winter park close to winter park HS off of Semoran Blvd. I am so glad I stopped in and tried it out bc the food and service were AMAZING! I love the open kitchen concept ! Because they just opened they cannot serve alcohol at the moment but it was ok as their lemonade and sweet tea made a perfect Arnold Palmer ! Brisket: melt in your mouth good and flavorful ! It was and will be my first choice . Ribs: alittle to crunchy on the outside for my liking but it came right off the bone and tender . I added sauce to mine as I didn't care for the Smokey flavor . Half bird: wow wow wow ! So juicy , tender and flavorful . My little one really liked it as well. Side note it's a huge piece of Chicken , so unless you're a lineman , it's shareable ! The beans with chunks of brisket were so savory and the potato salad served as a good balance. The service was friendly and fast. Nick helped with my order and I he didn't disappoint, (even mentioned the collard greens are his go to!) The menu is a great size and offers good options, even catering. Went with the two triple tacos and upgraded to 1 side and drink combo ($13). The meat was tasty and the first few bites caught me by surprise with something spicy that tickled the back of my throat but a big gulp of sweet tea helped me out. By far the best fast and affordable BBQ to hit Central Florida in a long time. This place rivals the long standing restaurant for the title BEST. The brisket was tender and moist, rib meat falls off the bone, the wings are a must try. The pulled chicken was tasty as was the smoked sausage. The customer service was always friendly and even allowed me a sample of one of the sides prior to ordering a pint. The restaurant is spacious and clean. I ordered the Brisket sandwich combo with cornbread and Mac & Cheese. Everything was great, the mac & cheese was super cheesy and the cornbread was moist. The tables and booths are very close to each other so if it's crowded it makes getting around a bit challenging. Also, there was only two bathrooms which also causes a line. The slaw was a vinegar/mayo(?) just not what I was expecting to put on my pork. The baked beans were very sweet with really tough pieces of brisket, so not a hit. The highlight of the meal was that lone rib. It was moist, tender, flavorful and meaty.
