For example, if he didn't want us there while he was cleaning, he could have given us a time to come back when he was done, finished on time, or simply asked for more time before we came back. We're sorry if stopping by, tipping him, and saying good work caused an uncomfortable environment. 2. We knew about the cabinet and could have explicitly mentioned it in the email, however not only is it clearly not a cabinet that we managed to not break in 2 years, but the details mentioned in our emails were loosely paid attention to so I'm not sure it would have done any good. 3. I made the mistake of leaving the tip at the beginning and leaving for an errand. Even my apartment staff were shocked at what a bad job the cleaner did.
