Needless to say, once I received my "repaired" phone, the "replacement lens" was entirely a different color and slightly larger than the rest. I attempted to take a picture, and while the lens was repaired, the view was still blurry and the lens was unable to properly adjust its focus. The man who repaired my phone then tried to convince me that issue was indeed corrected, and proceeded to show me that the focus was clear once you place the phone on .5 view versus the default 1x view. I told him that his repair did not properly solve the issue with my phone, and he proceeded to say "Well you didn't ask me about the view. You just wanted the lens repaired" - while this might be true, the problem here is that instead of being a genuine and honest salesman, he proceeded to take my $26.50 non-refundable payment to provide a solution for a problem that he KNEW he couldn't fix. Not to mention, replace the lens with an oversized lens of a completely differently color. Consequently, I asked him to remove the faulty lens from my phone and restore it to the condition it was when I initially brought it in, so that I can proceed with requesting a replacement from the Apple Store. Casing point - if you're looking for a quick fix to your phone, be advised that all of their replacement parts are faulty and will deem your phone out of warranty for future repairs through your authorized retailer. Trust me: this is the second time I've been scammed by these folks (shame on me), and ended up STILL having to visit the Apple Store to pay more so I KNOW. #BEWARE

I purchased one online, called the store to ask if they could help swapping out my old battery with the new one. They said yes, I came in the next day, and it took no more than 20 min. Battery replacements on iPhones are a pain to replace if you don't know how to do them off the backhand, so I'm grateful for their services. My iphone works smoothly and full battery life is back again. It's rare to find a good place where something very tedious needs to be done. And the price was great! Not only can they do it, but it's only about a third of the price for a refurb from Apple. $99 for the part $60 to put it in. Nothing like a 60% off discount. I should have come here first! Chatting with some folks And they mention a mobile phone repair service which you're thinking is too good to be true... or is it? Went online to the website and made an appointment at 8:53 AM figuring it was a longshot that they would actually be able to accommodate my 12 noon request and voilà-Joe comes to the rescue! He calls me and lets me know he's en route to my location and would call me upon arrival, which he surely did. He came upstairs to my office, fixed my screen, provided me with another screen protector at a relatively minimal cost and he even helped me and my crazed self become untangled from my necklace and headphones (don't ask!). Joe was super cool, personable and most importantly-fast! 20 mins later, screen was fixed and he was on his way. I honestly think he was finished sooner than he called me but was giving me a few more minutes because I was so frazzled. Excellent customer service and job well done. After the new screen was installed, my screen would be nonresponsive randomly throughout the day for anywhere from 15 minutes to an hour. It happened each day after phone repair. In addition, the screen would no longer read Mt fingerprint. I re-added it to the phone. It worked for a few minutes, then working again. I brought the phone back in to get the screen replaced again with the correct phone. This time, when I came back, the manager opens the store an hour late. I informed him I needed to come back another day as I couldn't continue to wait. As I was driving my children to an event, the manager called me to ask me to come back. I informed him I could not due to my schedule and he became aggressive and belligerent to the point that my children were afraid for me. I discontinued my call with him and requested the technician call me to schedule me coming back. After talking to the technician, I scheduled my return. The 2nd time they repaired the screen, 2 days later the phone started glitch then went black. I returned to the store and they would not issue a refund. I di not recommend this business as they are not customer friendly nor do stand behind their products or services. UBreakfix is cheaper and has a 1 year warranty.

It was also overheating - another sign of a bad battery. I was all set to go to a location in Bowie that actually had my battery on site and have them install it when I got another response on my phone that concerned me. I decided to stop at this location before heading to Bowie to end up buying a battery I may not have needed. Glad I did. He was able to open/examine my phone and reassured me that the battery was good, but that it was another issue - somehow my motherboard had become partially disconnected. He reconnected it and reassembled my phone all within 20 minutes or so. He didn't even charge me, but I gave him a $40 tip. I was walking on air leaving the store feeling like I saved myself the $90 charge to have the battery purchased and installed. No sooner I got home started getting the same problems with the restarting . Went back to Anwar and he reassured me that there was nothing much that could be done at this point. We both thought it was the motherboard, and turns out it wasn't... At least not exclusively.. Look at it as a net gain because I didn't have to spend $80 on the battery and I met this gentleman who is super well skilled with cell phones and gave me good guidance. Met his coworker and mentor (Rahna) a couple of days later. That guy said he taught Anwar everything he knew and has been in the business for 10 years versus 3 for Anwar. Luckily, I was able to get a warranty replacement from Asurion and transfer my data so I'm good to go for now but I'm glad I met these guys. I'll be coming back as needed.
