Linda was very helpful. She greeted me immediately and asked what I needed. She let me browse by myself in the area and when I asked her for help, she immediately responded. Had a crazy emergency. Back yard patio tiles started cracking from intense heat this summer when water penetrated 30-year old grout that had deteriorated (highly recommend re-grouting when called for!). Searched all over for tiles to complement older tiles and difficult size. I was referred to Tile Expo by two competitors. My designer/contractor met Greg Christin who could not have been more patient and professional. He found replacement tiles that worked and provided a unique variation. Plus, he was able to accelerate delivery from one month to one week, at no extra charge. During these crazy times it is even more impressive to get great service, follow through and genuine care. Word of advice: Have your GC or tile installer buy your tile. Get an idea but don't volunteer to buy it. There is a lot more to get and do than picking out a tile and they are the subject matter experts and have connections. As a consumer, I feel these places have a nice design floor but you pay for it in pricing. We were purchasing I feel basic tile and paid three times more here due to timeline and since I went without a GC. Big mistake. read more

Update- Tile Expo followed up with us. The flooring we purchased seemed to be a manufacturer defect or bad quality or batch. Unfortunately the manufacturer wouldn't replace our flooring, but Tile Expo really stepped up and made a huge effort to replace the faulty flooring, thus alleviating any financial burden. They invited us down to pick out new flooring and we had it installed within the month. The gentleman that they used to install our flooring was so professional and did a fantastic job. Kudos to the owner and sales staff. I appreciate the kindness very much and our floors look and feel great. read more

When we walked in, I thought "what a beautiful store, and they are in the Christmas Spirit".... (they had some decoration) BUT... when we walked in and looked around, that feeling went away. They had a nice selection of backslashes behind the counter, where the cashier was, and the employees, looking up prices or doing orders on the computer (I'm assuming). Plus, there was at least 6 feet of space. It was hard for me to see them, I figured I can walk back there to see these tiles up close. But, I was asked to leave from that area. :( He said, I can point it out, and they would take it down for me to look at it. So, this is when that "feeling went away" happen. Checking out Tile Row in Anaheim, this is one of the few that are open Sundays which is a bonus, but also one of the more pricey options. Also not a huge fan of the service, we were in here for quite some time and not one sales person approached us. I was in here three times. I would give this place 2 1/2 stars. Service is lacking. Open on weekends which was a plus. They charge a deposit to take samples home. It surprised me, since a couple other places didn't charge me, but I get it. The pricing I noticed was high for some things and lower for others. YMMV depending on brand, style, etc. The first time I was in there, no one acknowledged me for about 10-15 minutes. Most were busy, some were not. I hung around the front counter for a few minutes to see if i could get someone's attention or if I needed to make an appointment or what. No one wanted or made eye contact with me. You would think that someone would say hi and let me know someone would be able to help me at some point. I almost walked out, but I NEED TILE, so I start looking around. Finally, someone approached me and helped me out. Newest guy there, but he actually seemed pretty knowledgeable. They didn't have samples of the tiles that I wanted, so he had to order them. The second time I went in there was to pick up the samples. It was 11 days later that I was contacted to let me know they were ready. I walk in there and see the sales guy that helped me is busy with another customer. Again, stand around the front counter and no one acknowledges me. A sales girl finally approached me and asked if i needed help. I told her that the sales guy ordered samples for me and that I am there to pick them up. She just says, "Oh ok" and that's it. She clearly sees the sales guy I worked with is with customers since I pointed him out, but still no offer of getting the samples for me and sending me off on my way. Another sales guy ended up finally retrieving the samples. I ended up getting 5 samples, and had to leave a $40 deposit, which was refunded back to me when I brought them back. Third time I went in was to return the samples. Again, lack of service. No one makes eye contact, says hi, nothing. So I just said in a REALLY loud voice near the front counter, "WHO DO I RETURN THESE SAMPLES TO??" Guess you gotta yell in here to get any service. Gave the guy my deposit invoice and he gave me my deposit back. No conversation about if any of these worked out for me or if there was anything else we could look at that may fit the bill. Ended up taking my business elsewhere. read more

Tile Expo is a wonderful company to work with. We had a disappointing experience with another company whom we had to stop our marble job after twice getting wrong material after waiting 3 months to begin our job. Tile Expo is the exact opposite. Dan was our project manager and was always in communication with us. Our concern was getting our project done before the holidays. We had already wasted 3 months on the other company waiting for them to start our job and then having to start the process all over. Dan said not to worry and they would take care of us. We chose our marble right away and they started our job within two weeks. Ethan at the front desk was very helpful handling our marble job and was in constant communication updating us on when our job would start. During the process of our job Dan was always checking in and making sure we were happy. If there was anything we needed to be changed, it was done meeting our expectations. Please whatever you do DON'T go here! I spent over $1200.00 on tile only to have to wait for some which never came so I had to spend more to order something else. Then when the majority of the order came in and I took it home 50% was unusable. I took it back and they said they would replace it and when my husband picked it up a few days later, it was the same shitty stuff as before!! Their policy is no refunds so I was screwed. I had to spend even more $$ on more tile at Lowe's to finish the job. They are very good at customer service but after that WATCH OUT! This was a great place to get the tile for a shower. Open on Sunday and the staff Carlos and Victoria were great and aided us in matching the perfect tile shower. Also bought grout that doesn't need to be resealed. They have this grout available at Home Depot at half the price but do not have the colors available. Although Tile Expo had the tile I was looking for, they do not stand behind their verbal word. I worked with Ethan Breedlove who was helpful until I tried to return unused tile from my job. When asked about their return policy (at the time of purchase) he said there would most likely be a 25% restocking fee, BUT THAT HE WOULD WORK WITH US. Today when I called about returning the unused tile, he said that was only good for 30 days and that we were told that at the time of purchase. I am a stickler for such things, and would have tracked the dates to make sure I returned before 30 days. We are now at 41 days and he said there is nothing they can do. I am now out $300 and would strongly suggest anyone who purchases from Tile Expo track the time to ensure you are not stuck with extra tile as we are...OR DON'T PURCHASE HERE! read more

Astrid was amazing! Long story sort of short... I found the perfect decorative tiles for my job. Only to learn that the manufacturer had discontinued the tile a few months ago. These are 2x2 tiles so it wasn't the biggest sale in the world. So I called store after store and then started emailing stores. Tile expo responded and Astrid handled my case. They found my tiles! I can tell you with authority that there were only about 40 of these tiles anywhere on the west coast... now there are 20! :D Since my search was so wide, I had to ask if they would mind shipping them to me since I don't live in Anaheim. It was very unusual to ask this and the guy from a different store who had 19 of these tiles refused to do it. Tile expo went out of their way and fedex'd it to me! I can tell these guys are trying hard to satisfy customers and in reality, my order was so small they could have ignored me without affecting their bottom line. Instead they decided to help me out and get a discontinued tile that is nearly extinct! She called to make sure the tiles arrived and was working hard to make sure I was being looked out for. Tile Expo was a great choice for our bathroom and kitchen remodels. For starters, their showroom has a good display of options without being too overwhelming. I could easily navigate through the room without losing my mind. The sales team was quick to introduce and wake me through different options based on my taste and help me to make the difficult decisions. The best part was that after the visit, they were quick to send me an accurate estimate and were easily able to adjust to last minute changes. Pricing is also very competitive for the quality they feature. Sure, you can find cheaper, but the quality of their products are very high-end and you can tell the difference in their product from lower quality and knock-off designs. This place is NOT the place to shop for tile. We purchase several hundred square feet of tile from them to find out later that the same exact tile was available at Home Depot for less than 1/2 the price. They just shrugged their shoulder when I called them and asked why there was such a price difference. Shame on us for not checking other places but shame on them for being SOOOOOOOOOOO overpriced. Buyer Beware. This is not a case of you get what you pay for...you get much less value for your money. Be prepared for delays, excuses and broken promises...like "we'll repair the hole we put in your wall" (NOT)..."we'll clean up after the job" (barely)...we know how to move furniture (sometimes)..."we know how to install tile next to carpet" (not even close). Be prepared to hire a handyman to fix damage; to spend HOURS cleaning material spills on the walls and baseboards; and to hire a carpet expert to correctly tack down the carpet they ripped out next to the tile. I can't recommend The Tile Expo enough. We installed about 1,000 ft² of new tile into our house, during the search for the tile we decided the older tile in one room we didn't like so we replaced that. We got a very good price on the new tile. In the past we've had tile installed by people that may not have been in the business long and they didn't do a very good job. I was happy when Tile Expo said that they have their own professional team that does all the tile installation work. This is a busy time of year and tile expo had multiple commitments. At first they said they might have to slip our schedule. After some discussion they found a way to change some work around and they got the job done on time within about 3 weeks of ordering the tile. I also knew that one of the rooms had some cracked and uneven cement and they recommended a complete cement replacement. I got a second quote and it matched. The cement crew did an excellent job, worked very hard and got the job done on time. The same is true with the entire tile installation crew they are very professional and asked what we wanted in certain areas and they made it happen. read more

Spent $1200 on Tile. Ordered 1 more box a week later (07/09/2020). It was mislabeled and wrong product. Returned box. they admitted error and promised rapid credit. As of 10/15/2020 and 5 calls every 2-3 weeks to Greg they STILL have not submitted credit to my charge card ! I want my $123.65. Greg always says they have my paperwork and are submitting it that day. He always says they haven't done it yet but today's the day. There are no problems with the paperwork, just their apparent refusal to do the refund. Very Unprofessional. Since I have the pictures of the miss-labeling and the documentation I guess my next step is small claims court. read more
