The puzzles were challenging, creative, and really well thought out. It made for such a fun night out with friends -- lots of laughs, a little stress, and a big celebration at the end. I wish I could've taken photos inside because the room was so well done, but they ask that you don't take pictures while you're in the game to keep the experience a surprise for others -- which we totally respect. Where the business feels lacking are in two areas, presentation and reward. We have done over a dozen escape rooms at various locations both in town and out of town, and each one of them presents you with a video or story at the start of the room to help set the mood and tone. Lockbusters just told us about the types of locks you'd encounter and that there was nothing high above to deal with. I had to ask for any kind of story and was told "It kind of changes around a bit, but there is a missing guy named Kevin you're trying to save before time runs out and you become part of the collection." It was really a bit disappointing. The other area I'd say needs real improvement is in reward for completing the room. We finished with about 13 and a half minutes to spare and unless we'd gone to check in the first room we were not told how well we did. There are no photo ops like every other Escape Room place, and no merchandise to purchase to celebrate. These are all missed opportunities and honestly kind of left us feeling a little let down given the price paid to play. We might circle back to try out another room, but Lock Busters is certainly not top of my list to check out again.

I was surprised by how interesting some of the exhibits are and remembered seeing a few things from a long, long time ago. There are some interactive exhibits and curious facts throughout the museum. It was a little surprised at how quickly we went through the whole thing, given the entry price. Overall, it was cool way to spend a little time on rainy afternoon. One would definitely need to expand their plans if they are looking for something that takes more than an hour to do.

Instead of wildlife, the driver mostly showed us horses and cows from a farm across the resort, which was not what we came for. What made the experience worse was that the driver kept intentionally driving us into thick grass areas several times. He also stopped the boat in an area full of mosquitoes/gnats, and we kept getting bitten until we asked him to move immediately. Unfortunately, he repeated this more than once, which made the ride very uncomfortable. Overall, the experience was not worth the money for us. We would not return and would not recommend it.

So Andrettis is an indoor karting, laser tag, and game room located right next to the Convention Center on International Drive. This place definitely was easily accessible from the main road and had plenty of parking in their private parking lot. So on the day of our event, upon arrival, we were greeted immediately and checked in quickly and efficiently. The staff were all very kind and helpful! The party room was located in the back of the building and was a pretty spacious room, with its own private bathroom. For our birthday package we opted for the laser tag, and arcade option for the kids and it kept them occupied for a few hours. Now for the food, I was very impressed by the quality and presentation of all the items we selected! Yes the food was just your average fried bar food... but I thought everything was super fresh and all came out very quick. The pizza, wings, and cheese curds were outstanding! Lastly, our party attendant was top notch! She was very attentive, had great communication, and made sure we had everything we needed. Overall, I will say that even though the birthday package at Andretti's is a bit on the pricier side... we thought it was definitely worth it... my nephew had a very memorable birthday!
