This was my first time here and it was so amazing to see all the things in there and it's so much interactive stuff to do in there as well! This place is a place to go on a cute little date if you and your partner are into museums and nostalgic activities cause this is one! I would give this place a 8.5/10 the only reason is because it's some interactive things in there you can do but you have to pay additional, I think that's something that should of been told to us before entering so we would be prepared for it so it's a few things I didn't get to do because I didn't know you need additional funds but overall a great place to go! read more

It had been a long while since I had been to this Ripley's location and a friend, on a brief visit, suggested that we go. I purchased the tickets online via a third-party about 2 hours before we arrived. There was an issue with the tickets, however, the Manager was able to quickly resolve it. I was surprised by how interesting some of the exhibits are and remembered seeing a few things from a long, long time ago. There are some interactive exhibits and curious facts throughout the museum. It was a little surprised at how quickly we went through the whole thing, given the entry price. Overall, it was cool way to spend a little time on rainy afternoon. One would definitely need to expand their plans if they are looking for something that takes more than an hour to do. read more

A very expensive, underwhelming experience. It feels big for nothing. You move through rooms quickly, with very little to look at and interact with. A lot of empty space and not much to read. I'd brought my kids once before, when we first moved to Orlando. It was kind of "meh" even then (my kids liked it more than I). Their cousins are in town for a few days and we were looking for something to do; when this place was mentioned the kids got excited and I figured I would give it another chance. It was as bad as I'd remembered, but it seems they've added an exhibit featuring ai, and I would say that makes it even worse. Furthermore, when we got to the area with the wax figures, they were blasting awful music so loudly we couldn't hear each other talk, while brightly colored lights flashed on and off. (Isn't it enough to look at these cool wax figures? Why you gotta assault our senses too?) Any way. We were done with the entire place in maybe an hour, then my sister felt compelled to demand the kids turn around and go back to get "our moneys worth" but the kids were "we already saw all of this, cant we go home?" Ummm.... Not sure why this is $87 Yes, we did add on the mirror maze, but at this price point it should have taken us more than an hour to it both. Most rooms were good, filled with things to intrigue us. One, though, felt as if we were in a storage garage. Just shelves with old or unused items that an owner doesn't want to trash but has no use for. Also, there was a sign in one room stating that on March 20th there would be a demonstration for wax hand dipping (maybe the right name of that activity). Our visit was on Friday, March 20th. We were standing at the counter three minutes past the start time, yet there was no one there. It didn't even look like it was set up for a demonstration. We waited in that room for five more minutes looking at the few things, but no one arrived or poked their head in to say things will be a bit later than the posted time. As far as Ripley's goes, it isn't bad. Charging as much as they do is the issue. My teen and I had a fabulous time here on a rainy morning. There's a lot to read, so not good for small kids. The price is very high for a short experience. There were lots of photo ops and we took about 100 pictures, which was the highlight of our visit. There was hardly anyone else inside. read more

This is more like a 3.5 star review, but I'm being generous and rounding up. It was roughly $45 for my son and me with AAA discount. We spent mayyyybe 45 minutes there. There is a lot to see and you could easily spend more time there, but we had to pick someone up at the airport. This is a one and done for me. I enjoyed it, but I wouldn't rank it among the Orlando "must do" attractions. My son enjoyed it to an extent, but towards the end I think he was ready to move on. It wasn't crowded, so that was a plus and the exhibits seemed well-maintained. There are some interesting things on display and I especially liked the true crime area. My son loves toilet humor, so the "fart button" in the restroom was quite entertaining for him (it made me chuckle a bit too). read more

We have driven past this museum 100 times and finally decided to visit with three adults and my nine year-old daughter. Some of the exhibits were creepy and scary. My daughter was freaked out. For the adults, it definitely had some interesting facts and displays. my daughter made the wax hand for an additional fee. This was an amazing experience and Brian at the Wax hand center is phenomenal at his job! He was patient, presented all options, and even dipped his own hand to show her what to do. The exhibits are all very cool and informative and the mirror maze was so clean and well kept we had so much fun! For a Sunday during the summer it wasn't busy surprisingly. It's such a cool spot to visit and learn about things you wouldn't really learn about anywhere else. I love the interactive exhibits, and the space room was definitely my favorite. They have a hand wax area which is a very customizable and one of a kind souvenir, I'm not too sure how much it was since we didn't do that. The gift shop also has a lot of different items and they definitely have something for everyone. It's such a cool place to visit for people of all ages since they have something for everyone! read more

I first read a book about Ripley's Believe It or Not in elementary school and have loved hearing about it ever since. I was ecstatic when I learned we would be able to visit the museum while in Orlando. I absolutely loved being able to explore the exhibits with my husband as well as my best friend. I am so glad we got to experience Ripley's Believe It or Not as a group because we are the weirdest people I know, making us a good target audience for this museum. This is the life size Ripley's pinwall at Ripley's Believe it or not attraction on International drive. You can put your whole body in it instead of the hand sized toy. I'm a fan of oddities and cryptozoology. I believe in the Loch Ness monster. I just read up on Robert Wadlow who was the tallest person in recorded history after seeing the replica of him here at Ripley's. Dude he was the size of a 15 year old kid at age 6. Yikes! My son and I had fun here at this tourist attraction. He liked the different kid humor pranks hidden throughout. The sign said "Don't open the box." "Open it up." "But it says not to." "Do it." "I'm scared." Ahhhhhh! Try to grab the diamond inside the big mouth. Ahhhhhh. My son's favorite was the crooked room and the swirl tunnel at the end. There are a lot of interactive touch exhibits for kids. We played with a giant "litebrite" type wall too. It's a fun place to bring kids. There is a FL resident discount. Orlando has a lot of interesting things, circus, memorabilia, Egyptian artifacts, but I think it is over priced for the time spent there. Two hours is plenty of time to view it all. San Antonio Ripleys it's much bigger and took us well over four hours to walk-through. read more

It's $40 for one person (adult) and that included the mirror maze next door which is definitely more for children and takes 5 minutes to go through. We wanted to check out Ripley's and I can say it's everything that I expected from Ripley's. You can save $3 by purchasing your ticket online or if you forgot and you get there, they honor it - or for that day they did since we were on our phones about to purchase the tickets online. For the price that we paid which was $18.99 per person, you don't really get much. I mean, there wasn't much activity or much to look around. You walk through at your own pace and get to read fun facts. I went here last night with my service dog who was in a dog carrying backpack since she's a small teacup shih tzu. She was leashed also inside of the bag with harness as ADA rules require. However when I went to this establishment the manager named Brian who was at the register said that no service dogs were allowed . I told him that he is not allowed to deny a service dog with tags , but he then said He can call his general manager , so a few minutes go by and he called again and said the the general manager was in the building but to busy to come to the front but that she said ok but that my service dog needs to be taken out of the carrier and on a leash walking . I told him that the place is dark , and crowded , I didn't want anyone to step on her by accident but didn't see why she couldn't stay in the bag because it's not like I'm blind and need her to guide me . I requested again that I'll wait to explain this to the general manager. While we were waiting he stated that he has two years experience with ADA and those are the rules , that they have to be secured and walking aide by side with you. When I requested he show me where it says that, he shows me the ADA site where it says they have to be leashed and secured and yes that's true but it says that there are restrictions as well. I did have her leashed and secured in the bag but he said no again that she has to be taken out and walking . This is ridiculous, I do have her out but not in places like airports , theme parks , crowded places where she can be stepped on accidentally. Never had these issues anywhere , included military bases . So after 20 mins or so , he says here she is , her name is Melissa , I looked at her name tag and it says supervisor on her name tag. Keep in mind Brian's name tag says manager , so I asked her how she can justify that I have to take my service dog out and she had no clue what I was talking about, so looked clueless of the whole situation so that's when I knew Brian did not talk to her. I even explained that I'm a director so I know that a supervisor is not above a manger . Brian then back tracked by saying " oh she's not the one I talked to, the general manager can't come , she's busy. I'm definitely filing a complaint with ADA on this business today . What a horrible experience. I have attached pictures of my service dog and carrier that I take here everywhere in, how is this now a better way to carry her in a crowded place? read more

Took my little one for his birthday to ripleys believe it or not and did the mirror maze next door as well! He absolutely loves seeing all the wax figures and the different things they have there. The mirror maze was a bit of a quick thing because there was a lot of people I'm assuming due to rain so it made it a little difficult to really get lost in the mirrors. Well somehow I was able to get a complimentary tour and completed reading all the placards in less than 30 minutes with a comprehension retention of zero, I'm hoping - as entertaining as it can be I really don't need to retain any of this information. This Odditorium, is a portal into the fringes of culture; its mavericks and pranksters, adventurers and occultists, artists, comics, eroticists and offers a somewhat morbid look into nature's creative humor. I can recommend this semi-richly whimsical look into the freakish sideshow era to anyone who likes their fantasy stories fun, imaginative, and somewhat exaggerated with subject matter that is strange, disturbing, and at times controversial. The value here isn't worth the price of admission in my opinion, unless your occupation is or has been working as a carny and you want to replay the remnants of your life on the circuit.
