    Text message between myself & dispatch AFTER it took over 1 hour for them to remove the boot

    On 02/10/2024 my sisters and I parked (separate vehicles) at Underground Atlanta Zone 5250. I paid via the ParkMobile app. My session started at 3:19 and the timeframe for this parking lot at the time was 2 hrs 39 minutes!! We returned to the cars at 4:38 to find my car booted. I immediately called the number on the sticker, 404-664-8543, FRUSTRATED!! The rep that answered my call advised a tech will be dispatched and he will call me when he's on the way. The tech called me from 404-709-4711 at 4:42. I inquired why I was booted. He states I didn't pay to park. My ParkMobile app was still counting down to which I advised him and told him I have my receipt. He proceeds to tell me I need to pay online before he will remove the boot. Furious, I told the tech I am NOT paying $75 for a boot without cause. I paid to park he needs to come remove the boot. The tech then hangs up the phone, at which time I see a red van with CWP on the side leaving the parking right where I was parked. HE WAS THERE THE WHOLE TIME!!! I called him right back and asked if he just left the parking lot and his response was Yes, I'm going to remove the boot of someone who paid. Long story long, after over a hour wait, multiple phone calls to dispatch and the tech....my last call to dispatch requested a manager contact me.....the tech finally returned and removed the boot but before asking for receipts, timestamps....even tho the ParkMobile app was still counting down. As I'm talking with the tech, another driver comes up and complains of the same thing...he was booted and he'd paid. This company is a FRAUD and unjustly boots vehicles. After I left the lot, I get a text from the dispatch number 404-664-8543 (screenshots in pics) asking if I paid the boot removal fee yet? I advise I'm NOT paying for a boot removal when I paid to park via the ParkMobile app BEFORE I left my vehicle. Your tech is booting people without cause. I wasn't the only one. I also sent a screenshot of my ParkMobile app because I still had a minute left. They respond saying they don't have an active registration for me at the moment and that I can file a dispute online. I replied How convenient when I have a receipt, y'all took my money and the app is still counting down. They then send me a pic of my license plate and a screenshot of the tech checking if I had a registration...I suppose. The tech looked up my vehicle at 15:19:41 (3:19 41 sec). I pulled my receipt and my parking session stated at 3:19!! Coincidence...I think not!! I text my receipt with the session start time clearly showing it started at 3:19, and told them the tech clearly watched me walk away then booted my car. I heard NOTHING ELSE!!! No more responses, even after I texted back asking that a manager still contact me. NOTHING!!!! Shady business practices within City Wide Parking and from all the complaints I've heard about these booting companies, the city of Atlanta should be holding these contracted companies to a certain standard and be accountable for the fraudulent activity they are getting way with.

    I parked at Morgan Sandy Springs garage to eat dinner at Casi Ciela restaurant. The restaurant is a tenant there and told us to park in City Sandy Springs. We parked at the garage deck. It is privately owned. There were no signs in compliance with Sandy Springs Sec. 58-96 to not park at the parking spots and even the gate was opened. When we returned to our car, it was booted and a man who was hiding behind the corner drove up and told us we had to pay him $75 to remove the boot. He refused to identify himself in violation of Sandy Springs Sec 58-97. We later found out it was Citywide Parking Services. I filed a dispute but have not heard back. I reported this to Sandy Springs Police who told us to file a complaint with Sandy Springs Code enforcement if you already made payment or call police at the time of the booting. If they get enough complaints against Citywide Parking Services they will revoke their permits. Cities do not want to lose customers who shop and eat at their businesses. Their actions are predatory and they have been sued in class action by Weatherington Law Firm who won against them! Google lawsuits against Citywide Parking services to see. MAKE SURE TO REPORT THEM TO CODE ENFORCEMENT for sign violations and theft by taking and false imprisonment. Know the sign rules for your locality! You can win if the signs do not meet requirements.

    So I parked at 1160 Hammond in the visitor's section. Technician later told me that I was booted because it was paid parking. I asked him where the signs were indicating that that I needed to pay, because I saw none. He said they were elsewhere. I actually drove around and looked for them after he removed the boot from my car. Nope, didn't find any. Also, what apartment complex makes visitors pay? That's strange. I had to call 3 times and waited 3.5 hours for someone to come out. It was so ridiculous. Their operators were so rude and disrespectful. One actually hung up on me. As a woman, I felt unsafe waiting in an empty parking a garage at 11pm where I did not live. This company has no regard for the safety of women. I was scared for 3.5 hours, not knowing if I might be robbed or attacked. On top of that, the "removal technician" didn't my even wear a mask! How dangerous. This company is disgusting.

    I paid for parking but because I apparently chose the wrong lot on the app (It was in the exact same spot and nothing indicated it was two separate lots) I was booted and had to pay a $75 removal fee. This is a completely honest mistake and I can't imagine I am the first one to make it. The consequence of this mistake is way out of proportion to the effect of the mistake or how easy it is to make it. This was a completely ridiculous parking interaction.

    The sign said $5 parking, the app said $10 parking. We we're ok with paying the $10 but were irritated by it. The app never let us pay despite multiple (10+) attempts. It kept deleting all Data and we'd have to start over. Then they booted us! Worst app ever! We will be disputing!

    Predatory service. No sign on parking lot entrance or on parking lot space. Parked when businesses were closed and would have paid for parking if there was an option to do so. I will never do business with any of the companies in this lot due to this.

    If I could leave one star I would. I'm sure everyone can agree here. Most annoying, irritating thing ever.

    My car had all the correct passes and the MANAGER put a boot on the car. Then questioned us about where we got the parking pass from. Tech 105 was very helpful and sweet! That's the best I could say!

    They harassing tenants and their guests at 1160 Hammond Aprs! This is ridiculously getting out of hand! They don't allow you time to register your guest! First they must find a visitor spot or they get booted. By the time you find one and go up stairs through the elevator and in your home to register them they are booted!! When they come to remove the boot they want to play the ass!!

    THEY BOOT HANDICAP PEOPLE. No good customer service. Showed them my placard handicap registration. Bryan, the manager does not have empathy.

    Poor Customer Service. The people you call have hung up on us 3 times. Booting was put in place without confirmation from customers.

Within that year I did everything the company asked of me including personally covering last minute shifts, picking up shifts when the company needed me to and waking up at six in the morning on my off days to train new employees. I never called out and always showed up. The thanks I got was a write up anytime I made a mistake, my hours being cut and a ridiculous requirement of buying a laptop for a $17 an hour job. Because this company is fairly new and is actively trying to build clientele, they will throw their employees under the bus at the sight of any inconvenience. This company DOES NOT care about their employees. If you make a mistake they will quietly take you off the schedule and then ignore you when you try to reach out, I've seen it happen to many people. The worst part is they will bleed you out by slowly taking away your shifts one by one until you cant pay your bills anymore and you're forced to leave. Really terrible stuff they do to their employees. The main manager stephen, is an awkward stab you in the back type of guy who will smile in your face and then talk badly about you in private chats. I cannot tell you how many lies were told to me working here the list would be too long. If you're looking for a job save your time and avoid this place. If you are a business seek any other company possible, these people stand on no values and only want you to sign a contract. Please do not support these people, they don't deserve any more business.

I called NorthStar, my security company, to see if they'd ever heard of these guys and they told me that "reputable firms don't go door to door." That reminded me that I was overdue for writing them a review. My husband and I (well, my husband mostly), interviewed four or five firms before selecting this one. Their installers are also their sales guys. In other words, these are people who know their stuff. Nobody tried to sell us something we didn't need. The guy who came out - and followed us through some installation difficulties (way our house was built, not NorthStar's fault) - his name is Gary. He is friendly and SUPER knowledgeable. He explained things and then explained them again and gave my engineer-husband all the detail he wanted. But when I had a question and DIDN'T want the detail - he boiled it down for me. Their pricing was similar to other firms we talked with. Pay for the equipment and have lower monthly monitoring, or do a 3-yr contract with higher monthly monitoring and lower/no equipment costs. They give you several options to work with your budget. Bottom line is, they weren't significantly higher or lower than anybody else. We had our first "false alarm" the other day. Our nanny accidentally set off the alarm and while she was punching the code in downstairs, my husband was also punching it in on the keypad upstairs, which cancelled the whole thing. Kinda funny actually. The monitoring service called us WITHIN TWO MINUTES. I was glad to know they were on the ball just in case we need them for real some day. In the end, we went with this firm because they were the most knowledgeable, didn't have pushy sales people, so we felt confident we were getting the info we needed to make a good decision. Turned out to be a very good decision!

One event we contracted them for required securing the area during the event as well as securing the rides and equipment overnight. The second event involved kids and making sure that only authorized individuals were allowed in the area. Needless to say, the service, security, and diligence in doing both jobs with a sense of excellence, exceeded our expectations! It felt good to know that if I ever encountered a problem of my own, at my home, that BS&S would be easy to contact and very effective, and efficient when handling a situation. Also, it was pretty late when one of my friends left and she didn't feel comfortable walking to her car by herself so we made a phone call to BS&S and they made sure my friend made it to her car safely. This security team is one that I will definitely recommend! Just remember if you see their name you are definitely in a safe space!
