Went in to have my daughter's ears pierced and ended up paying over 70.00 dollars!!!! They have no price listed so when I initially asked for the price she gave me the price of the lowest set of earrings and the employee didn't explain or even let me know there would be a price difference based of what earrings we chose she just asked us to pick our earrings out... it wasn't till after when she rang me up did I find out price but it was a lil too late... As I walked in explained to her about a defective rifle she blatantly got defensive and told me upfront I cannot do any returns for this purchase but a the original store I bought it form . She refused to take the time so I called the great mall and the girl was very nice and polite over the phone and helped me by calling the gilroy location and told her to take my return . She said that I was able to return my defective item at any location. . The woman at the gilroy location was upset and helped me with no professionalism and was very rude telling me I was making a mistake with my card when I told her it's her machine . For her info I own a business and know about credit cards terminal and how they work . She definitely doesn't need to be in the working environment she is rude and has not customer service skills for sure. . Think twice before walking in this location. read more

Don't get your ears pierced here. Go to a professional ear piercing store where they use needles instead of guns! However the stuff they sell here are amazing! I love their earrings, pop sockets, phone cases, head bands, etc. It's AWSOME. Just don't get your ears pierced here. read more

I got my ears pierced today here, and I am so satisfied with the results. The girls in there were so sweet and so helpful! I highly recommend coming to Claire's for your ear piercing. They don't allow 0 stars. We got regular ear piercings here almost a year ago and they are just starting to heal. My youngest daughter had to go on antibiotics, myself and my oldest also had issues with our piercings. We will never get pierced at Claire's again. The poor girl who did them was ill at the time. We also found out 5 other girls my youngest goes to school with had the same or similar problems with their piercings done over the same two week school break. read more

I'm not at all shocked that the store has a bad rating. The ladies who work here have a bad attitude for starters. I bought some items online Which were 40% off, ship to store. I hadn't received an email in over two weeks so I called the store to see if they could check the status on when I would be getting an order. They said they can't check that and if I ordered two weeks ago it would probably come in three weeks from now. Two days later I got an email that it had arrived at the store. I picked it up; when I opened it, the size that I ordered was not what I got. But I took it and left. A few days later I went back in to see if I can exchange it and pay the difference. They would not exchange my item nor would they match or acknowledge the price on the website. They would not refund my money because I paid via PayPal. This is odd because you have to pay on cash with PayPal. So they told me just to call the customer service, they gave me the wrong number. So I found the phone number on my receipt and called right in front of them. Customer Service told me that I can mail it back and they will reimburse me for the shipping. Terrible customer service with an attitude. I would think they would actually want you to spend your money there. They refused to honor the online prices when they know how to. But they do not care about the customer. read more
