First time here, we were taken right away. My friend and I got a deluxe pedicure and a manicure. Service was great. Staff was very friendly and enjoyable to talk to. I paid $110 + tip. I'm pleased with my toes and my hands. After seeing a friend with her beautiful and long lasting acrylics I decided to come here and I'm glad I did. I'll be back! Thanks Tammy! read more

I absolutely LOVE Tammy! She's my go to nail person every time. I've been coming to this place for 7 years now and their quality and service is out of this world. The prices are the best in Poway in my opinion. Tammy is amazing with designs, and acrylics- but everything she does is amazing. My go to nail spot in Poway. Tammy and her staff are excellent and I am always satisfied. I've even convinced my husband to come with for mani/pedis! Tammy always does my eyebrows (she's really the only one I will let touch them) and the shop is clean and fairly priced. Highly recommend! read more

I've been going to Clarity for years. Everyone is so nice and they listen to what you want and don't up sell you. Tammy is great with Designs, Cat is wonderful with Acrylic and fills-they last so long, Jenny is great at her pedicures and massage so good. This was my first time here I made the appointment yesterday here on Yelp ! They had really great reviews and I needed a place close to home . I did not catch any of the ladies names but they were nice , professional and very patient . I went in for a gel mani & a color change on my toes . The First Lady who did my manicure (I do have to say this was the most detailed manicure I've had in a long while) I'm assuming she's possibly new (4th table back) as I showed her the design I wanted she had to call over another lady to do it for her . Now, it isn't exactly what Was pictured (as I got a design that was on acrylic nails, which are much longer than my natural nails ) but it did come out cute ! My toes were just a change in color ; the lady who did them was fast precise and very nice ! I LOVE A CLEAN PAINT JOB ! The price wasn't as much as I expected (thank god) and the service was great ! My mom and I have been coming here for years now and we absolutely always love our nails but we also love every worker there ! we look forward to getting our nails done because not only is it relaxing but we love to spend time with the workers who became our friends! unfortunately i have seen plenty of impatient customers who just want to be in and out which i just don't understand, don't you want this time to have your phone down and relax ? isn't that what getting your nails done is all about pampering yourself? Friendly & Pricey. I don't get my nails done often. Went in for a full sent of almond shaped nails with fun style (see pics of result.) They have a large selection of gel nail colors but be aware that the colors they use to make flowers or draw designs (like my nails) is limited. Also I chose a burgundy color and when she painted the design it came out purple??? Not a huge deal because I'm not that picky but a little disappointing. I am happy with my nails color and the delicate job that the technician did. But the owner charges you arbitrarily! I paid $40 for a dip manicure last month and $45 this month for the same work?!? They don't ask for tips, and it doesn't matter if you are happy with your nails or not. She charges a fixed amount of tip on your bill. Bizarre behavior!!! Never seen such a thing!!! Plus, their tools are old and used a hundred times, unwashed. Disgusting! If there were any better place in Poway, I would never go back to them. read more

I just had the best pedicure ever! I did not have a reservation, but they welcomed me and gave me an amazing pedi! I had an amazing hour of relaxation and zen. Some say they are on the pricy side, but I felt it was in line with pricing of other shops. I will be back for sure!!! read more

Decent and very cheap. On an impulse I walked in the day before Thanksgiving and was seated right away for a $10 basic manicure. They had a good selection of colors, not the biggest ever but good enough. Mostly reds/rose/pinks by OPI and more varieties of colors by Essie. Even though I swear by OPI and never get any other brand at a nail salon, I found a rogue "Island Girl" bottle that had the perfect bright lilac color I wanted. The nail technician took a long time with me so I feel like she was taking good care including soaking, cleaning, shaping, etc. The hand/forearm massage was quick and light. It started to chip just slightly on the edges the next day but I think that's because I didn't go with OPI. read more

Ive been here many times but now Im looking for a new salon. A couple of girls here are great if you can get an appoinment with them but if not, the results arent great. Several times i had mediocre mani/pedis and the last time was very poor including cuticle cuts on my hands and scrapes on my feet from the callus remover tool. Its hit and miss here so I'm looking for a salon with more consistent service. read more

I love this salon, I have been getting my nails done for over a decade and this place has always made me feel welcome. The manager Tammy is so kind and provides excellent conversation. It is also located in a great area where you can get your nails done and food right after. Tammy doesn't rush when she does your nails either. They provide walks ins as well I prefer appointments because that is my me time! Annie does a great job on my toes and makes sure that we are always happy with service! I have loved every set that Tammy has done and my nails last all month, I only have to go in once instead of every two weeks! TAMMY was amazing! I am very picky and she was beyond great. She made sure to ask frequently if I liked the shape, color, length, etc. I really appreciated that and loved her passion for making sure I, the customer, was satisfied! Amazing service here! The people are so welcoming and friendly. I got a gel glitter French ombré and I am so happy with it. I can't stop staring at my nails. The deluxe pedicure is also amazing! It includes a callous removal and sugar scrub. They also massage your legs and feet for a good amount of time. Very relaxing. If you need a nail place to go to, go here! It was great! I believe it was Tammy that did my nails on Friday 11/2/18 at around 2pm. Everywhere else i called in Poway were to busy and couldn't do my nails right away so i went there not knowing what to expect. Location itself was great. I didnt have to struggle to look for parking (which I can't stand at some places and for myself is a huge factor on whether I'll be returning, i know that's horrible lol but i hate hate hate wasting my time looking for parking). The inside of the salon was clean. Every time they do a client's nails they don't reuse the nail tools. Each time they have to open a bag of nail tools and throw them away after. I had a gel manicure which is $25. Total i paid was $30 because of the take off and design. They do accept card but you must bring cash for the tip. read more

My wife, Tammy, and I took over Clarity Nails & Spa for about half a year. Tammy has been working in the manicure industry as a manicurist and manager for over 10 years. I, myself, have been helping clients with obtaining excellent home mortgages since 2002. We hope to bring our business experience and expertise to provide top notch manicure services to customers in and around the Poway Community.

I really dislike negative reviews, but I have to be honest, this really happened! During a pedicure and exfoliation service, the technician scrubbed my foot aggressively towards the ankle, causing a scratch that led to bleeding. Despite her pleasant demeanor, her hastiness and inattentive nature resulted in careless harm to her client(s). The scar is now permanent and hideous. The salon itself appeared outdated, with a dingy and unwelcoming atmosphere. Although I will not return, the demand for women's nail salons ensures a consistent client base, and I just hope they improve their services. read more

The BEST nail salon in Poway ... The service is beyond 5 stars, extremely detailed, friendly, inviting atmosphere,achieved perfection as I am extremely picky about my manicure/pedicures. STAPH INFECTION WAITING TO HAPPEN Very unsanitary, If you want any type of soap, disinfectant don't get the Basic pedicure, it do not include soap. they will put your feet in a tub of water and proceed to do a mock pedicure. We got there, we were welcomed in by the owner, and we went to look at the polish options. We were then quickly asked to sit and bring any, and all polish colors we were interested in. I immediately felt rushed. There were two techs assigned to me one for my pedicure and one for my manicure. I was happy with my pedicure - She shaped and cut toe nails, exfoliation done and massage. She was nice. The nail tech who was doing my acrylics kept trying to reach her daughter, which I understood being a mom, but I think she may have been in a hurry to do my nails. She nicked a few of my nails, while they did not bleed, they burned when she applied alcohol on them. The sides of my nails were not fully polish or cleanly aligned. I initially picked a iridescent color but it did not like how clear it looked so I asked to put a solid base color under the iridescent color I picked and she said she could not do it. She didn't even try. So, I had to pick another color quickly. I told her I didn't like the shape of my thumbs nails, she attempted to fix them but I did not see the difference. The acrylic nails looked thicker than I wanted, and the sides were not fully polished, she didn't even take the time to clean the under part of the nails, or seal the polish on the front of the nails. And I had to ask for cuticle oil - while she was cleaning up, and getting ready to leave for the day. After she left, I also had extra nail glue on my fingers. I let the owner and her daughter know, and also showed them where some polish was missed on the sides of the nails. I also told them I was nicked a few times and said "you aren't bleeding are you?" They got the male tech to help clean up what was done. After leaving my nails were super sore from all the harsh filing and stung being nicked. I wish I had a better experience. 4 days later my daughters gel polish was already chipping and one of my nails were lifting! The owner told me it would last 4 weeks.
