This was my first time here I made the appointment yesterday here on Yelp ! They had really great reviews and I needed a place close to home . I did not catch any of the ladies names but they were nice , professional and very patient . I went in for a gel mani & a color change on my toes . The First Lady who did my manicure (I do have to say this was the most detailed manicure I've had in a long while) I'm assuming she's possibly new (4th table back) as I showed her the design I wanted she had to call over another lady to do it for her . Now, it isn't exactly what Was pictured (as I got a design that was on acrylic nails, which are much longer than my natural nails ) but it did come out cute ! My toes were just a change in color ; the lady who did them was fast precise and very nice ! I LOVE A CLEAN PAINT JOB ! The price wasn't as much as I expected (thank god) and the service was great ! Friendly & Pricey. I don't get my nails done often. Went in for a full sent of almond shaped nails with fun style (see pics of result.) They have a large selection of gel nail colors but be aware that the colors they use to make flowers or draw designs (like my nails) is limited. Also I chose a burgundy color and when she painted the design it came out purple??? Not a huge deal because I'm not that picky but a little disappointing. I am happy with my nails color and the delicate job that the technician did. But the owner charges you arbitrarily! I paid $40 for a dip manicure last month and $45 this month for the same work?!? They don't ask for tips, and it doesn't matter if you are happy with your nails or not. She charges a fixed amount of tip on your bill. Bizarre behavior!!! Never seen such a thing!!! Plus, their tools are old and used a hundred times, unwashed. Disgusting! If there were any better place in Poway, I would never go back to them. read more

Several times i had mediocre mani/pedis and the last time was very poor including cuticle cuts on my hands and scrapes on my feet from the callus remover tool. Decent and very cheap. On an impulse I walked in the day before Thanksgiving and was seated right away for a $10 basic manicure. They had a good selection of colors, not the biggest ever but good enough. Mostly reds/rose/pinks by OPI and more varieties of colors by Essie. Even though I swear by OPI and never get any other brand at a nail salon, I found a rogue "Island Girl" bottle that had the perfect bright lilac color I wanted. The nail technician took a long time with me so I feel like she was taking good care including soaking, cleaning, shaping, etc. The hand/forearm massage was quick and light. It started to chip just slightly on the edges the next day but I think that's because I didn't go with OPI. read more

It was great! I believe it was Tammy that did my nails on Friday 11/2/18 at around 2pm. Everywhere else i called in Poway were to busy and couldn't do my nails right away so i went there not knowing what to expect. Location itself was great. I didnt have to struggle to look for parking (which I can't stand at some places and for myself is a huge factor on whether I'll be returning, i know that's horrible lol but i hate hate hate wasting my time looking for parking). The inside of the salon was clean. Every time they do a client's nails they don't reuse the nail tools. Each time they have to open a bag of nail tools and throw them away after. I had a gel manicure which is $25. Total i paid was $30 because of the take off and design. They do accept card but you must bring cash for the tip. read more

I came here for the first time Thursday around 1. The decor is minimal and could use a little update but it's clean. There were a few customers there and I was tended to quickly. Vi was the one helping me that day and she was great! She had to correct an overlay I had done at a thief salon and repaired everything and did my polish within an hour and quality was not compromised. I asked her for ombré nails and she nailed! Vi was very patient with my lack of decision making and assisted me in finding what colors I wanted. I will be returning to see her from now on. read more
