He has a perfectly reasonable, logical explanation for whatever ails you, and he does whatever he can to explain it to you. He also uses technology that - prior to visiting his office - I hadn't seen in other optometrists' offices, like the camera that takes a big, clear photo of the inside of your eye to check for any horrifying abnormalities and to compare the overall state of their health year after year. The rest of the staff was really helpful. An employee that was awesome helped me pick frames and I personally didn't feel any pressure to buy, just helpful suggestions about the shape and color of the frames. There is a reason Carolina Family Vision was voted "Best Eye Doctor" in Holly Springs this year.

I went and needed to make an appointment- a week later 4/21/27 i was examined and I was impressed with all the updated machines. I had to wait a few weeks for glasses to be made, which is not unusual. I then went in and tried them on, these were $900 bifocals with all the bells and whistles, but the long-distance view was blurry. I immediately told this to the woman helping me, but she said take them home and get used to them and if they don't get better, bring them back. After a week, I went back and they gave me another exam, and the results were different from the first. After waiting another week or so, I went back again. the new glasses were fine. However, upon leaving, they handed me the old prescription and did not give me the accurate prescription. All was fine until I wanted to get a pair of prescription sunglasses from Costco. I gave them the script from Carolina Vision and waited a week. These sunglasses were for a vacation planned for the beginning of September to see Ireland. Well, when I tried the new sunglasses on , they were blurry. The optometrist at Costco tested my regular glasses and discovered the the script the I was given was the wrong script. so now i have to go on my vacation without the benefit of great sunglasses . Bottom line - Carilina Family vision looks pretty on the outside, the salespeople are professional, but behind the scenes it is a clown show .

At appointment time I was told that I have to pay even more to have it corrected. I will be disputing this with my card and insurance because I refuse to spend even more money when they obviously entered something incorrect pertaining to my astigmatism. I should have never left Carolina Family Vision since I've never had an issue with my prescription from them. Edited to add: I just thought I should fill everyone in. Two months ago they did replace my lenses without a recheck so they actually confirmed that they DON'T have good customer care. There were NO employees in sight other than the 2 at the front desk who didn't even get out of their chair. The older lady on the left (who didn't crack a smile the first time either) was downright majorly rude!!!!! The younger African American lady wanted to just hand me the glasses and get rid of me! She seemed very very annoyed that I actually wanted to try them on! Then when the glasses made me instantly dizzy, the older lady kept arguing with me and gaslighting, saying it was just because the prescription changed and that I would "get used to it"!! I kept telling her the prescription did NOT change (and it made me wonder how many kids she had gaslighted into leaving without getting satisfaction!)! The ONLY reason I got the glasses to begin with was that the others had not been adjusted right and they gave me an eventual migraine. But THESE gave me an instant migraine AND made me dizzy! They ARGUED (literally all 3 of them) with me that there was nothing else they could do and that I would get used to it. I had to keep standing my ground - which no one should have to do!!! Bought two pair of glasses in '22-'23…read more I've had nothing but problems with the lens falling out and now the arm of the glass that fits in the ear, a spring inside attachment breaking off and the arm that goes around your ear falling apart. Manager Brittany at HS wants to charge me 80 plus tax for replacement/repair and argues on the phone with me that's the best she can do. If you're thinking about going here I'd think twice. She claimed the year warranty was over. But if a merchant sells a defective frame - and I've had quite few glasses in my lifetime with never a problem- if it sellls a defective frame it should make good. There's more, but that's essentially the problem I'm having w them today.

He told her the GPS showed him arriving in 3 minutes, so she told him they could not accommodate him. Are you joking?
