I really liked this place. I had the double cheeseburger and coconut shrimp. My son had the giant onion burger and a shake. Both looked really good and he liked them. His gf had fish and chips and they looked good too.

A trip to Long Beach would be incomplete if we did not stop by Clarks restaurant for some soft serve ice cream. I will say that my review is only on the ice cream which taste oh so good for the last stretch into Long Beach. The flavors rotate and it is always yummy. They have a big menu if you are hungry, and the people are great. Don't pass up the opportunity for some great soft serve ice cream.

    Clark's Baked Potato!
    Michael H.

Best Baked Potato we've ever had! Take a look at the picture - they serve the baked potato in a bowl. Outback Steakhouse, take some notes, will ya? All of the ingredients were fresh. We've stopped in on the way to the coast just to get their baked potato! One time, we were wondering what was taking longer than usual. When our baked potatoes arrived, our waitress apologized for the wait - they were out of bacon and had to cook some so we'd have bacon on our baked potatoes! The shakes are amazing! Chocolate & peanut butter never disappoints. They had some really great teenage girls working there when we've stopped in. Family place. Yes, the decor is dated. But it's clean, the food is good and the prices are decent. When you're driving through Artic, do yourself a favor and get a baked potato (and maybe a milkshake?) at Clark's! You won't regret it.

Our last visit to the Long Beach Peninsula on the WA Coast was back in 2013…read more I booked lodging here back in July 2024 for our week long stay during June 2025. We arrived shortly before check-in time at 4pm. We were provided with site information, parking permit, and wristbands/room cards. Somehow I ended up with a major room upgrade, which was greatly appreciated. I also appreciated the welcoming and congratulatory items: tote bag full of snacks, fresh baked cookies, wine, cider, jam, and various local business discounts. The overall site was large with onsite communal areas. We did not use any of them, but nice to know of its availability, such as: library, DVDs, onsite cafe & mini market, gaming area, workout room, pool and hot tub. Our home away from home for a week had two twin beds, a double Murphy bed, and a king bed, two bathrooms with amenities like extra towels, blowdryer, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash. There was also a washer/dryer, fully equipped kitchen, living room, and dining table & counter seating. There was also a patio with grill, 3 flatscreens, DVD player, fireplace, and overhead fans. Despite the WiFi availability, using our phone service as a hot spot proved to be faster and better connectivity. We felt the property was relatively safe and secure, had proximity to retail, activity venues (movie theater, horse corral, go-karts, kite store, bike rental, and mini golf) & dining sites, and great public beach access. Overall onsite staff were welcoming and professional. So why just three versus five stars? As a long time owner (well before WorldMark, Wyndham, and Travel & Leisure), there were things that weren't quite up to expectations. Dated interiors like faded or chipped trim and sills, visible debris on the window sills (dead fly), carpet (paint chips, bobby pin), dingy towels, sand in the washer, and dirty glassware/flatware. Let's just say we kept our socks on and that also demonstrated that the carpets weren't quite as clean or thoroughly vacuumed. Under the living room sofa cushions, more visible debris. I used Clorox wipes from home on lots of surfaces. I swept floors, put towels in piles by each tub, bagged up our collective trash, and even took our compostable/recyclables back home. We did our best to make it easier on Housekeeping to turn over our room. We even checked out an hour early, 9am instead of 10am. We also waited patiently earlier during our stay to deal with scheduled unit sprinkler system inspection. A few minutes stated on the phone ended up being 90 minutes. Other guests were loud or heavy footed, even after so-called quiet hours. I get it that it's a resort getaway, not a library. Lots of unattended kids on the elevator, running in the hallways. Entire groups taking up communal areas for hours on end. Enough said. Despite attending an owner's meeting last summer at another location, I had to attend yet another one here. Informative, but yet again, I left feeling not quite so VIP because I stood firm to not purchase additional credits and upgrades. Costly enough with owner dues and fees as is. Would I stay here again? Probably not. Other WorldMark properties along the WA & OR coasts have better upkeep. I've stayed at many WM sites in Canada, Washington, Oregon, and Hawaii. This was the first time so many anomalies stood out. Good to get away from it all to decompress and explore, but definitely glad to return home.

Terra welcomed both me and my husband with kindness and provided us with impeccable service. Couldn't have been more pleased, thank you! True props to the chef and crew!!! From start to finish (appetizer-entry-desert) had so much flavor that each and every bite was an explosion of perfectly seasoned and melded flavors. We had the crab cheese dip, house bread and prosciutto wrapped asparagus for our appetizers, my husband had the Ribeye steak and I had the King Salmon. His large steak was cooked to perfection and the flavors involved in the King Salmon concoction left my tastebuds in awe - seriously BRAVO! With no room left in our bellies we of course ordered the strawberry-rhubarb cobbler and pear margarita sorbet. Both were absolutely to die for. With 24 years of military service, much of it abroad, I've had my fair share of both and I'd put both of these at the very top. I'm a foodie and love the joys food can bring to so many regardless of background or origins. The Depot has always been one of our favorite places for special occasions on the Long Beach…read morePeninsula. We own a house in Long Beach, and during the time we lived there full-time, this was our go-to spot for anniversaries and my husband's birthdays. It exudes that cozy, historic Seaview charm that invites you to relax and linger...warm, intimate, and full of character without being over the top. A true small-town and now not so hidden gem. My husband is a fan of their Old Fashioneds, particularly those with a smoked maple twist, and he often gravitates back to the slow-braised pork. Their current Southern Comfort Pork dish is just his style: slow-braised pork shoulder served over brown sugar yam mash with jalapeño creamed corn, green onion, and maple-bacon salsa. That's comfort food crafted with real culinary skill. As someone who follows a plant-based diet, I truly appreciate how The Depot makes an effort to accommodate vegetarian and vegan diners in a way that feels genuine rather than forced. Last winter, I was thrilled to discover the ginger-coconut soba noodles, they were flavorful, satisfying, and perfectly balanced. Their current mika soba noodles with garlic-ginger coconut cream, vegetables, toasted cashews, and cilantro are exactly the kind of dish I'm thankful to find on a Peninsula menu. I also have fond memories of Burger Wednesdays from our time on the Peninsula. It's incredible how satisfying a customized portobello burger can be when a kitchen understands texture and seasoning especially in a place where plant-based options can still be scarce. The food is fantastic, but the service deserves a special mention. While Peninsula restaurants are known for their good service, The Depot's service is exceptional: polished, friendly, warm, and just the right amount of attentive. Although we now reside in California, we plan to make another reservation when we return to the Long Beach Peninsula in July. I'm already looking forward to their summer menu. Note: I've forgotten to take photos so the ones on this review are from the restaurants social media - definitely a reflection of our last meal at The Depot without the drinks.

Mom is a gardener and loves plants, my niece loves animals and was hoping for baby goats, my SIL is always looking for a photo opp for her socials, and I just love food, so I couldn't wait for the farm foraged snacks at the end of the tour. The kind tour guide has owned this for a few years and is really getting it into shape for the food tourism industry, so we're glad we could kinda be her beta testers. It's a small farm, but we got to feed her chickens rose petals from the bushes near the hen house, we saw how the solar farm works and how she uses shells from the bay so that she can collect sun from the reflective surfaces, we saw the giant pigs and my niece got to feed them, and we also got to milk the goats. I've never milked a goat, but I managed to get a bunch of full squirts before I let others have a try. At the end we were served flavored goat cheeses that were made with the cheese on the farm and she had a lovely charcuterie, cracker, and juice cheese tray waiting for us. It was exactly what we hoped for. She also sold some pricey merch like soap and candles, etc, but we were happy to be supporting her efforts to educate and her small business. It was a hot day, so I kinda wished she had bottles of water available since when she goes over the rules it's recommended that you hydrate often, bu that's okay. We had fun on our tour.
