This had become one of our new favorites but the last 2 orders I've seen them gradually declining. Tonight was just BAD! Unfortunately I must change my previous 5 star review..... First I had a birthday offer that expires in 2 days so I thought I'd apply it. I have actually ordered twice recently & forgot to use it & just remembered. Well, That was not an option. It was only $5 so it wasn't really going to deter me from ordering since we had really come to love this place. I figured we could ask to apply it in store which we did but no one knew how to do it. They blamed the app & said the app is supposed to apply it... we just said that's not really a big deal I still placed an order for one chimichanga, 1 burrito Americano & 1 queso with steak. I honestly should have just went to Taco Bell, it would have been better & cheaper. The chimi was ground beef in a tortilla. That's it! No lettuce, tomato, onion, etc.. no pico, just a plain tortilla full of loose hamburger. It wasn't terrible it was well seasoned but it definitely wasn't what I expected. The burrito... EXACTLY the same! A tortilla full of ground beef... no veggies or cheese, no beans, it was comical. The queso the cheese was so thick it was basically plastic with chunks of steak. The steak wasn't terrible but it was not great. It would have been better if it wasn't glued to the container in a clump. It's like they put American cheese in the microwave & melted it then, it began to cool & became a hard clump of cheese again. Sadly this location is very tough & most places don't last. I had such high hopes for this place & even recommended them in various local groups but after this & the mix ups from just the other day too, I can't say I will be recommending them going forward. read more

Ever since we moved to Dunedin, we've been looking for a great Mexican restaurant and this is it! We've been here two times already, and the service has been consistently great! Also not many Mexican restaurants have the amazing street corn and they have it as part of their Santo Trio that also comes with guacamole and queso. The the first time we came, we ordered the Santo trio, margaritas sangria, and Christy got the chicken chimichanga and I got the street taqueros and it was plenty of food! The second time I decided to just make the Santa trio my meal, but I upgraded my margarita to a larger size! This place is definitely worth a visit! read more

We got there after lunchtime so it was slow and we were seated immediately. The place has been completely renovated with furniture from Mexico, beautifully carved and painted. My son ordered the fajitas in a pineapple and it was fantastic . I ordered the carnitas, but after a mistake where I got three tacos instead of the deep-fried carnitas plate, my dish arrived. Wow, it was a lot of food, for both of us! It tasted fantastic and we ate like kings, but ended up taking home a lot of leftovers. Definitely a great place to eat! read more

Welcome to our new favorite Mexican joint! We were longtime fans of another spot that closed last year and have been looking for something just like this. Festive decor, clean, attentive staff, free chips and salsa, margaritas the size of your head--you get it. I ordered the enmoladas (mole enchiladas) and they were perfect. The chicken was not dry at all like others had mentioned. My favorite part was the avocado salad that comes alongside it. My husband devoured the carnitas and said all he was missing was maybe a verde sauce to go along with it (we'll have to ask for some next time.) We have been here once. This is not TexMex. The inside is bright an vibrant. The service was friendly and moderately speedy. It was busy and a bit loud. This seems to be fancy Mexican. The menu is not large, but the ingredients are fresh and have vegan options. I ordered the Enchiladas Tomatillo Verde, which was wonderful, with a lot of avocado salad, which was new to me. My partner orders the Tamales which were only ok. The El Jefe margarita was the best, and freshest margarita I have ever had. read more

Chips and salsa served after sitting and inquiring about what is the speciality dish. The bartender recommended the Americano burrito with chicken. He was very nice and attentive. The salsa was mild heat and had good flavor. The chips were warm and good but there were very broken up, very few full chips. Both the horchata & the hibiscus drinks were out. Menu states espresso but they said there is no machine yet. They do have a full bar. The decor is very nice. Nice seating areas. The Americano burrito was presented in a slightly fried flour tortilla with a nice crunch and flavor. The chicken in the burrito was a bit too over cooked. It is small pieces of chicken (not shredded or chunks) but still tasty. The rice was perfectly cooked with the fresh ingredients inside with very flavorful sauces served over the top wich blended well together. Very huge portion which easily can be shared. Overall, it was a nice experience and I will come again! I hope this place is successful. read more

Best Mexican food in the area. We ordered the stuffed poblanos and the verde enchiladas. Both entrees were delicious. The poblanos are prepared without breading which is my preference. My wife raved about the avocado salad. The food tastes so fresh, unlike most Mexican restaurants. Margaritas are excellent. Made with real limes and no premade mix. Service was excellent. We almost didn't go because their sign out front says Tex Mex but it didn't taste like Tex mex to us. Will definitely be back soon to try the tamales and carnitas. read more

Considering this just opened, we had wonderful service and got a table right away. Our server was Sophie. She was good and attentive. Margaritas were really good. We had fajitas that were cooked. My husband and I live walking distance from the house and this building which has had a lot of failed businesses, BUT, this one is a winner. We arrived at 4:30pm. The decor is amazing and made (painted) by a family owned business. It is clean, new tile floor furnishings and fresh paint everywhere. We were seated quickly. My husband got a chimichanga and I got chicken enchiladas. There was a bar with a wide selection of drinks and a full time bartender on staff. Drinks are good size and tasty. Having just opened a few weeks ago, service was a little bumpy; to be expected. The staff were attentive and they helped each other. Servers talked to us like we were guests in their home. We had reservations for 8 at 6:00 and were seated at 6:30 as they were busy. We put in Drink orders right away and they were brought out 1 at a time with 10 minutes between each. My glass of wine finally arrived at 7:20 with water droplets all inside & out of glass. Waitress said they ran out of glasses. Food was mediocre at best and not warm by the time it arrived at 7:40. Pepsi - for $4 each? The decor is great. The food was overpriced for what you get but not horrible. The staff seem terrified of management something I have never seen before. Both our waiter and another person chat checked on us both had that vibe. My wife's meal came out like 10 minutes before mine so they need work there. Her fajitas were good - pretty typical fajitas but they for got the tortillas. It's a new place maybe they will work out the bugs? Not if management is abusing staff and creating constant turnover. We went to Clase Azul last night and ordered Top Shelf Margaritas. After waiting more than 25 minutes for the margaritas to be served they were horrible. Tasted like gasoline!!!!!! Couldn't even drink them. When I complained about it I was told it's because they were top shelf. Really ?!?!?!?!?! The food was okay. Service was horrible. It was our waitress's first night serving there and never checked on us. Horrible service. I've read all these raving reviews and was terribly disappointed start to finish on our experience! My friend ordered hot sauce and never got it. Our waters were never refilled. Couldn't get the attention of other waiters to help us. Needless to say we will never be going back there again. read more

I've wanted to try this place since it opened and finally opted for lunch today. The restaurant is ornately decorated with bright Mexican accents. We were greeted immediately upon entering and seated promptly at a booth. The first red flag was the table that wobbled terribly. After trying two more booths and finding the same issue, the server put folded napkins under the base to alleviate, but not remedy, the issue. Chips and salsa were brought quickly, the chips warm and crispy, the salsa cold and runny. I prefer mine chunky but not a deal breaker. I had flautas which were served on a bed of chopped lettuce with avocado slices and tomato with sour cream drizzled on top in a huge bowl. The flautas were excellent, but with only sliced avocado(no guacamole)and barely any sour cream(which had coagulated into something more feta like) it was difficult to combine. The black beans were runny and undercooked, although I understand some like that presentation. My wife had chicken nachos which i found average and became a soggy plate of mush if not consumed quickly. Apparently the establishment allows dogs at the tables as well as ON the table as I had to avoid watching a woman feed her shitzu chips all during our meal. The service was excellent until it wasn't as I waited a full half hour for our check. I think I'll stick with Fusion Street in the future. read more
