I was glad that I found this place because it's close to my house and the price is very reasonable. Other than that, tacos tasted a little less tasty (dried and no seasoning) than other places. Plus when I ordered for 2 buche tacos, they didn't tell me right away that they were out of the ingredients but told me later after I paid and asked me to switch to other types of tacos. This place is definitely a hole-in-the-wall type restaurant and it's rough around the ages in terms of speed and overall presentation. However, the most important thing is the food, and this place definitely delivers in that department. You can get great Mexican food that is very reasonably priced. Update: Still hot. If you don't mind building up a sweat while you wait or eat then this place will not disappoint. Again, this does not take away from the food just affects the overall experience. I will likely not ever dine in at this location. Pretty good food. I had tacos se lengua and asada. Asada burrito. Horchata. Over all the food was good. The restaurant itself is keeping me from rating a 5. It was hot. Like the A/C wasn't running. Few flies. Tables needed wiping. Stuff I can overlook but doesn't take away from the food. In town for the day to judge a ballroom dance competition, I went on Yelp and chose this place because it had 4 1/2 stars; I have to admit, though, that when I finally found it tucked back almost out of sight in a wannabe strip mall, I almost turned tail and skedaddled! The exterior, hell, the interior as well, wasn't particularly inspiring; the fact that no one inside appeared to speak English was much more reassuring. Whether it was good or not, at least I could be certain it would be authentic! I ordered the two taco special with rice, beans, and a drink for $4.99. (individual tacos are $1.50 each). I ordered one Asada and one al pastor so that I could review both. The beans looked bland but had a heartiness to them as if they been cooked with some type of meat. If my Spamish was better I would have asked. The rice was a little bland in comparison. The waitress brought chips that seemed fresh with just the right amount of salt on them. The salsa bar held 6 types of salsa , limes, radishes, and various pickled veggies so it covered all the bases The Asada was a bit chewy, but both meats had a nice balance of spices and no fat or gristle on either of them, so I was quite pleased with the meal as a whole. I'd definitely recommend this place to lovers of authentic Mexican food that don't feel the need for all the "frills" offered by sit down restaurants. read more

The food is pretty good and the prices are decent, if you're willing it wait for your food. Minimum thirty minutes for a to go order. We just started calling in rather than dropping by. Almost guaranteed your food won't be ready when you come. Like others have experienced the ac doesn't work that great, so waiting for your food in a hot restaurant isn't a top choice on hot AV days. read more

OK, so we just moved in nearby and decided to give this place a try because we have heard good things about it. The food was good and was priced pretty well. My issue with this place was the service. All the ladies in the back were friendly BUT THE MAIN LADY WHO TOOK THE ORDER WAS RUDE! (Older lady with blondish hair) We ordered two wet burritos and two regular burritos so when our food was brought out 40 minutes later and there is only one wet burrito I asked the lady in the back if she could correct it, and she gladly did. Then the lady who took our order, comes out of nowhere and says " two dollars and eighteen cents" and we all just stare at her with confusion and then she says that we never told her we wanted a wet burrito, and that we needed to pay extra. We corrected her and then she said "well I never charged you the burrito" even though my whole group clearly heard my partner order a wet burrito because we even asked questions about what came on it. So ultimately, she's the reason this place has three stars. customer service is what makes you stand out from competitors and honestly CUSTOMER SERVICE NEEDS TO BE WORKED ON HERE.. read more

My husband and I just found this place and I have lived in Quartzhill my whole life! What a find! Like other reviews a bit of a wait, but they have a sign telling you there will be one because everything is made fresh and it's well worth the wait! Awesome hole in the wall gem! Amazing food good prices great size portions. The only reason I have it 4 instead of 5 stars is because the server girl had a bit of an attitude. I love this place Little hole in the wall. To be honest sometime it's hits or miss. Definitely try hard shell tacos to go never gone wrong. I order a family pack of tacos. I got to say 90% good. When I lived on the east side of Lancaster. It took me 25 minutes to drive there and pick up the food Any tell you it takes about 20 minutes to cook it. For Lancaster there's a lot of food places on every corner to go to even the Desert Corner lol. This is one of the places I do go often is it worth it yes. Clasico's is good, I don't think they're the best Mexican in the AV but they're definitely good and I'm glad I have them locally! They used to have really good deals on their food, but it's a little pricey these days, which is why I've only given them 3 stars. Finally was able to try this place and I wasn't disappointed. The 2 dollar tacos have plenty of meat to make two tacos. The salsas were legit and they make great grilled onions and chili. Classico is amazing! Our family frequently picks up tacos from here and we are always impressed with the service, taste, and consistency in quality. We haven't explored too much of the menu yet (mainly because the tacos are too good NOT to get!) but we've loved everything we've tried, especially the chicken and asada tacos and the asada fries. read more

If I could give them 0 stars I would. We picked up three orders of flautas which were the wrong meat btw, but the issue is that they were so soggy and oily. I've never had this issue before so I called them. The lady told me the reason they were soggy is because of the tortilla and that they didn't cool off enough before putting them in the styrofoam container. If that's the case you'd think they'd give me a refund. Instead she said if I want a refund I have to take the flautas back so they could see for themselves they're not edible and that we didn't eat them. At that point we had already threw them away and I didn't want to dig through the trash to take them out and take it to them. Keep in mind we ordered other food and we were fine with it so I wasn't asking for a full refund. I mentioned they're in the trash so she continues to yell into the phone and say if I don't take them back then it sounds like I want to keep the flautas. What a rude unreasonable person. Worst customer service ever. I've never been yelled at for a mistake they made. She even knew the reason why it was oily and greasy yet was mean and condescending on the phone. Never again!!! SO GOOOOOD!!! I had the enchiladas and they were some of the best enchiladas I've EVERRRRR had. So tasty. They come with 4, plus lettuce sour cream delicious beans (not even a beans person) and delicious rice. Plus, I wore my Trump hat and there's so much misinformation about him so I never know how people will act lol but they treated me with nothing but kindness and respect. They have a sign that says "This is not fast food. Thank you for your patience." and you can absolutely taste the difference! A neighbor recommended this food so I had high hopes. There isn't much to this place but a few sad tables and the decor is non existent. Maybe they were having an off day, but the food was not good. I ordered the chile rellano and it was burned around the edges and flat, like it had been sitting for a while. The flavor just wasn't there. The asada tacos were so full of gristle they weren't edible and got tossed. The al pastor burrito was just okay, which was the best thing we tried there.
