This is the worst car wash place I've been to (and I've been to some douzies). They refused to wash my car because they said it wouldn't work, even though the person in front of me had the same exact condition - streaks from the fog and pollen. And they only take cash - which I had to get out of line to go to the bank for. Please don't go here. If you're going to have to wash your car yourself, might as well go to Fort Bragg Car Wash a mile or so north. Or do it at home. A legit car wash in Fort Bragg would likely make a great business here! But not this one. read more

It pains us deeply to give only one star, however, we are now using Fort Bragg car wash, to the north of this location. We spent many dollars on car washes here. This week we're doing a big job on a vehicle. We've pumped quarter after quarter into the machines all week long support of this car wash. - - - this morning we were harassed by employee, Steven for being in the outer most bay prepping for our next wash. This morning, there is not one other person at the car wash yet we are still being hassled by this employee for being parked here, prepping our vehicle for its next wash. Yesterday we encountered an excellent employee here, a young, Hispanic man, and we actually gave him a tip, and thanked him for doing an excellent job, yet today we are hassled by a different employee, for being here, prepping our vehicle with not one other vehicle in line or waiting . It doesn't make any sense. So now we use Fort Bragg car wash just north of this location with no hassles. We will not be disrespected at this car wash again. It's unfortunate because we supported this car wash all the way through the pandemic and continue to pump money into the machines. Yesterday we ran seven cycles of 15 Quarters = 105 Quarters. The ownership of this car wash needs to understand that they have one outstanding employee who works hard, the other employee Steven is hassling customers when there's nobody else at the car wash we were the only ones there this morning. Absolutely ridiculous to be treated this way in the morning by an employee at a car wash with nobody else there waiting in line. I was pleasantly surprised since other reviews weren't too keen... there is an option to wash yourself or have it machined wash. But it's so much more! There is a human there to pre wash the car before it goes through the mechanical wash and they were so attentive and thorough. Definitely tip worthy! (Do it before be after!) Then vacuum machines available as well as machines where one can purchase glass wipes, etc. $1.50 for vacuum and $1.00 for one time cleaning supplies. Spend the extra $1 and get the deluxe car wash if you choose to go that route. read more

This person that works there is rude and angry. After my 5 hour drive I couldn't see well out of my filthy windows and wanted a quick wash for a safe drive home. He was closing up at 3:30 PM and couldn't be bothered. He said he was booked out a month. Customer service was not in his demeanor or his vocabulary. Just rude. read more

And, 11 months ago I attempted to have my dodge ram 2500 detailed at the Classic Car place, to include cleaning the seats and carpet. I made an appointment, showed up on time. I was told that the person who does that work, was not in and that when he returned, they would call me. That was 11 months ago. read more

10/4 Update: Went back for propane. Best price in town and the guy who filled my thanks was super nice. Bumping my rating up a a star. Used the automatic car wash option despite the reviews because it's the only option in town. I asked if they dry the car when it comes out to get any moisture that blow dryer doesn't and they said no. So, I gave them a small tip of $4 there; they took it but didn't say thanks. They did seem to wash the car decently except not down low where there was dirt & mud. The blow dryer is useless and you drive away with water all over. It's cheaper than the Bay Area but you get a lot less service. The chevron auto wash there with no guys does a much better job. read more

The best in the local business and family owned. Extraordinary value in what you pay very little for to begin with (compare the prices to a bigger city!) I think the negative reviews had expectations set a little too high. 5+ Stars. read more

What a ripoff! $5 wasn't even enough time to wash and rinse my truck. Last time I go there. I needed at least 6 minutes and the original $4 you put in wouldn't even get your damn car washed. I put in five and I still didn't get to finish. RIPOFF read more

The equipment in the drive thru is shoddy and the brushes aren't working. The dry blowers only have one of the two working. The "hand wash" was very sketchy and let many areas that weren't cleaned. What a waste of time and money. If one of the gas stations put in a drive thru with no attendant it would be a much better deal. read more

This was a horrible place...Do not give them your business or waste your money. I went there to get my car washed. They had me pull up for the pre-wash before going through the carwash itself. They did the pre-wash, sprayed the soap off and then told me my car was to low to go through. Oh...and that will be $7. I asked if they could at least dry my car off, but they said no. They said they were too busy. There was only one car behind me. I reluctantly gave the guy a $10 and he said thank you. I said how about my change and he seemed shocked. He told me at least next time I'll know my car is too low. I advised him there will not be a next time. read more

The employees are rude and condescending. I am a local here in Fort Bragg and I went to this car wash place to clean out my car and vacuum it out when an employee came to harass me. "Just so that we are on the same page, I do not want you to leave your garbage here, I have had to deal with that before, and I don't want to again." Excuse me? First of all, I was fully intending on purchasing services from your establishment. Secondly, I was placing trash in to my own trash bag because I had a bag tear and make a mess on my back seat while transporting it from a job site. I was not intending on leaving trash. I was simply emptying out my back seat so I could use the vacuum to clean up the mess. I was so insulted that I finished putting trash back into a bag, packed up my stuff and left. I just moved to Fort Bragg, and jfound this car wash and tried to take my truck through the automatic wash. The sign for premium service, wash,wax,rinse and blow dry 9.75. All services are cash only. Not bad. I pulled up and he says $25.00! What your sign says 9.75! T "Your truck has dirt on it" yes, that's why I'm washing it. "Go over points to hoses and wash it first" WTH?? WHY WOULD I wash my car to then pay again to have it washed?? WHO DOES THAT? I MAY AS WELL GO HOME AND WASH IOKT FOR FREE!!! As he is rudely walking away.. WTF?? YOUR A CAR WASH. The "hand wash" is a joke and the results overall are terrible and scratched a rim. Super old equipment. Might as well have tossed the 9.75 out the window. Have used the do it yourself before and leaves a film. Crap place needs updating. read more

Great place. I was in town visiting friends and I wanted to get my car washed before going to their house. The guys that work there were great. They were friendly and did a great job washing my car. They hand washed my entire car. This will always be my first stop when I arrive in town. Thanks guys ! read more
