Food was fast and delicious, my daughter loves the mickey mouse pancakes. Our server was awesome as well!

It is really a shame that this business has become what it is, which is a sad excuse for what it once was. I have been patronizing this business over three owners and countless changes in staff, but the last transition has been the worst, and I will not be back. The food has went from homemade to canned, and powdered. The hamburgers and chicken breasts, once succulent and juicy, are now leather. I really feel sorry for the past owner Paul, he worked hard to make this place an important part of the community. It is just a sad shell of what it once was. And the service is horrible compared to what it was under Paul.

They didn't have tissue in the stalls after I used the toilet for a number 2 at that. I hope this can be resolved for future notice.

Absolutely worst customer service ever. The lady on the phone was rude and actually made us cancel our order because of how mean she was.

They have a bunch of cute outdoor seating, so we asked to sit out there. Rachel was our server and she was great - very friendly and attentive! I ordered the Avocado Scramble, but I made a couple of modifications. Unfortunately they forgot to address them, but Rachel took care of that right away and the dish was very good. My wife had the Eggs Benedict, her favorite breakfast dish. She said it was very good and she particularly liked the potatoes that came with it. One final note (and this was not reflected in my rating): the seating in the outdoor section is pretty tight and a couple with a large dog was seated next to us. I'm not a big fan of people bringing dogs to restaurants, but if they are well behaved, I can deal with it. Unfortunately, at one point this dog got excited by a dog coming by on the sidewalk and jumped up and started barking at the others dog, just inches away from me. It was quite startling and its owner was not particularly apologetic. With such a confined space, I think this establishment may want to reconsider whether it allows dogs in their outdoor seating area.

We were seated immediately on a friday evening and enjoyed the baked goat cheese appetizer. I…read moreordered the chicken parmesan, which was tasty and the portion was huge, so had leftovers to take home. We will definitely return in the future. The reason it doesn't get 5 stars is because we were put at a table in the middle of the room and there were several very loud tables behind us, which detracted some from the experience. The restaurant has some acoustic panels on the ceiling but should consider adding more. I could barely hear my companion across the table from me but could hear literally every word from some loud woman behind me (I recognize that the restaurant can't control the volume of their customers but they can, I believe, do a bit more to reduce this issue). The cocktail menu looked interesting too and the steak and frites looked very tasty. In the future, I think I will just try to request one of the tables along the edge of the room, as I think it may not be quite so loud.

They had 4 different menus for each week and I happened to try their 1st and last week's menu which we loved so much. Service was excellent as they were very well versed with the variety they were serving, it was a 6-7 course tasting style. They even packed up the leftovers themselves which was very helpful. A special mention to their non alcoholic beverage pairing they were promoting with the food tasting menu. While I chose wine from the ala carte section, I saw on other tables those beverages which I would like to try next time for sure. The servers are all well trained, and highly professional. The food is fantastic. The menu is the standout; it is very creative and has something for everyone. Let's start with their breakfast. This is probably the best breakfast/brunch place in town. Too bad they're only open weekends for breakfast. Whenever we have family back in town or friends from out of town, this is our go to place. Casual relaxed, friendly with quality food. If you haven't been here for breakfast, I would highly recommend it. The only comment I have is they don't open for breakfast until a little bit later in the morning. Usually, there is a line out out front waiting for them to open. We've had most things on the menu and to be truthful, not one thing has disappointed. Dinner: we don't get here too often for dinner because in my mind, this is our go to breakfast place. Last week we tried it for dinner and again, very pleasantly surprised at the professionalism of the wait staff, the quality of the food, and the overall dining experience. Whoever transformed his place from a hipster beer hall to a quality dining experience did a great job. Kudos to them!

The Huevos Rancheros were packed with bold, fresh flavors and cooked perfectly. The Charmoula Chicken was incredibly juicy with just the right amount of spice and herbs. It's got retro charm, great service, and a menu that is both classic and creative. What made it a great meal was that every food item was just so well prepared. I had their Green Eggs and Ham (poblano pesto and jack cheese scrambled eggs served with seared ham, spuds, and toast). My parents both ordered the Forager Rumble (mushrooms, caramelized onions, smoked gouda, and greens scrambled with eggs, served with spuds and toast), but my mom veganized it (with tofu and no cheese) and my stepdad egg white-d it. They make everything in house, down to their jams (the jam of the day was strawberry basil) and the hot sauces (they offer a range from mild to hot). I don't normally eat much of the toast served with breakfast plates, but with jam that good!? I ate that (well-buttered) toast! My green eggs and ham was a treat - retro, fun, and delicious. We also enjoyed a few cups of coffee each. On top of the great food, the service was great. The friendliest. This is just a charming spot for breakfast. I'd love to return!

Now, objectively I can say it's very good. The portions are huge, the meat is flavorful and juicy, the peppers were good. There's just some herb or something mixed in there in the marinade/aus jus, that I just don't think I like (I think it might be fennel? Something kind of licorice-y that I don't jive with). But if you're an Italian beef fan, or enjoy that flavor profile, you're gonna love it! Now, what I did love was everything else! The fried ravioli? Delicious! The french fries? So good! And a very generous portion of both! Service was also VERY friendly and everything was prepared quite quickly! It's a walk up window but there are some picnic tables for dining there, though I chose to eat in my car before making my way back home. I would 100% come back by and go for perhaps a sausage or a coney dog next time, definitely stick with orders of those ravioli and fries, too!
