The shop is maintained beautifully, and my group was greeted warmly by Catherine who was working the store during my visit. She gave my group a thorough explanation of all the specialty salts available, and explained the differences in cultivation & flavor profiles of fleur de sel, sel gris, flake, smoked, and shio salts just to name a few. I loved trying the chocolate salt! We also learned about all the different origins and makers of the chocolates available as well. Catherine was extremely knowledgeable and attentive to detail, she made the shopping experience feel fun and comfortable. We ended up purchasing the black truffle salt, sel gris, hana flake salt, the meadow's own backyard blackberry patch & strawberry dark chocolate bars, a few other dark chocolate bars, some of the delectable small individual chocolates at the counter - and we couldn't resist also buying the cutest tiny fairy star salt spoon, too. Amazing experience, and everything was so delicious - I would definitely visit again!

There were so many things to try and a lot of gourmet treats. The Mississippi district can be a parking challenge so look for parking on the side streets. They had a nice food counter at the back of the store, with a lot of different items. I would've been glad to go for a grilled cheese with tomato soup, if I had not already just eaten at the airport lounge. The place smelled good. I hear sometimes they have samples available, this time they didn't. Besides the food counter, they did have a good amount of their cheese available, in both blocks and bags. I got two bags, a black pepper cheese, and a cheese curds, both for only 11 bucks, and that was before the military/veterans discount. Those aren't airport prices, those are street prices. I was very pleased. I tried both of my cheese when I got home. You could definitely taste the black pepper, but it didn't over power the cheese. They played very well together. The cheese curds were creamy, with a little bit of the "squeak" that you expect with a good cheese curd. A great store, worth a stop. Thanks.

We shared all the items, and we were glad we did, so we got a little taste of everything. The raviolini and the cavatelli were tied for my two favorites, but I enjoyed everything we had. This tiramisu was probably the best I've ever had, and the olive oil cake was something I'd never tried, and I found it to be tasty. The service was great. The host and the servers were all very polite and attentive. I made a reservation online, and I was glad I did because the restaurant really filled up fast. I enjoyed the ambiance. Even though it was Saturday on nice evening, we were able to snag an outside table to accommodate having our dog. The meatballs were good, ground fine. I liked the red sauce and the bread was a welcomed addition. Caesar Salad was just okay, no pepper offered. Chianti was very nice! Liver Pate was phenomenal!!! I needed to ask for a few more crostini though. Cannoli was the star - crispy, creamy, chocolaty, and nutty! Recommended overall! I will be back to try some pasta!
