Called in to see if it was worth coming in with an issue. Was told that I had several recalls they would take car of and do for free. Brought the car in, was told they'd take car of the recalls by the next couple days. Received a call that they couldn't figure out what the problem was, but they'd had to do more tests first, but that probably the best thing would be to "trade it in" and buy a brand new car, because they had so many good deals right now. I declined. Showed up the next day. No recalls done. No work done. Tried to sell me a car instead. Several hundred dollar bill without doing any of the agreed on work and held car ransom until paid. Manager James Jay Ferrel told me it wasn't their fault that they couldn't do the work, and charged me anyways, no exceptions. Buyer beware. Bait and switch factory. My fault for assuming their words were true. There are many options, I would not recommend this one. read more

So Rasheed called me to come to Classic Honda of Orlando. Rasheed introduced my to a sales representative who was very kind and awesome to my kids and myself. Richard Appraised my car at $800 I told him that I only have $200 on me now out of Richard mouth he said we could put you in the 2013 Nissan Rogue with 650000 miles on it for $1000 down. I was up at Classic Honda of Orlando for hours they had me thinking that I was going home in the Rogue after they wasted my time all freaking day they telling me the car is yours for a down payment of $3800.00 the vehicle was $9995.00 sales tax was 697.66 License and title and fee was 1,334.22 BULL SHIT on the sales tax because state tax is 6.5% so if tax is 6.5% and the vehicle cost is $9995.00 then the tax would be 649.68 they over charged me $50. now I was transfering my own tag to the car they was charging me $444.74 for my car title $444.74 and for fees $444.74 BULL SHIT I could've went to the DMV got my car title and tag and the fees switched over for 1/3 less than $1334.22 HELL FOR $3,800.00 DOWN I WOULD'VE WENT NEXT DOOR TO NISSAN AND GOT A NEW or a 2018 NISSAN ROGUE WITH 0 TO LESSER MILES. I purchased a 2017 Jeep Cherokee Laredo from Classic Honda. After having the car fro two weeks, I noticed the floor was wet and mold on the rugs. The mold was old and there had been previous leak issues with this vehicle. I took the car back and asked for a full refund. The manager was very rude and said he need to go and speak with the company lawyers. I agreed that they could service the vehicle and I would give them a chance to fix this problem. They ended up taking the car across the street to the Jeep dealer . They said that the car had an air conditioner leak that they fixed and replaced the carpets. I picked up the vehicle two weeks later and it seemed that the water issue was fixed. A week later and a lot of rain that week and the car was flooded again. Classic Honda just wanted to wipe their hands after I paid cash for this car. They were not helpful at all. I ended up taking the vehicle to Sanford Dodge jeep dealer and thank god they came through and fixed my car. I will never buy a car from this Classic Honda in ORLANDO FLORIDA again. The manager was horrible to deal with and very disrespectful. Please make sure that you fully inspect any used vehicle that you purchase from them. You do have 5 days to return the vehicle, but god forbid the vehicle has issues after that. Good Luck !!! read more

What a terrible experience in the service department. I was called to get recalls taken care of, and I wish to God I hadn't taken it there. I asked for an estimate to get the locks replaced and when I left, the ignition was barely usable. I have been able to get the key to turn only four times in 4 weeks! Their response is that since I asked about having it fixed, it must have been broken already, so I can just go away. In fact, it took weeks and Honda NA to weigh in for them to even say it, they ignored me completely. I hope if you take your car there, it's 1. Perfect and under warranty and 2. You are some kind of important person. Otherwise you can be expected to be treated like nothing, which is what happened to me. They have made me feel like I am the one who is dishonest, and that's not me. I still can't drive the car. I had to borrow one. Take it to Headquarter Honda in Clermont, or Holler Honda or Coggin Honda. Anywhere but here. read more

Wanted to trade in our Touring after 10 days of sell to buy the elite model because touring model 2nd row does not recline and after dealing with the management and the supposedly the GM (never spoke to) got nowhere besides 1000 off and free oil changes...we are not asking for anything, just the same price as if we would have turned it in within 5 days and now due to all of the sales issues they are wanting to make a profit out of my deal...take your menu somewhere else - don't give it to Classic Honda ! read more

I was in the service department on Sat, Aug 19 and again on Tue, Aug 22. That is where the issues started and I guess I should've known better to go to a different dealership for my service but I was hoping that Sat was just a fluke and the next time would be different. I was wrong. I went in twice for the same problem. Spoke to several people, showed a video of my issue and got nothing but attitude and lack of care. Rolled eyes, huffing and puffing. Finally got my car fixed, which took all day for something that should've been 1 hour at most. Here is where it gets REALLY BAD. My car did appear very quickly, too quickly actually and the driver screeched to a halt right next to where Jay and I were standing. I thought he was driving it very recklessly. It is NOT his car. When Jay completed his paperwork, he stapled a business car to my receipt and handed it to me with the keys. I apologized once more. (another opportunity for him to at least offer a similar response but he did not) When I got into my car, I found that EVERYTHING was moved. EVERYTHING. The mirrors - all of them - the seat was all the way back, lowered all the way down and the seat back was reclined. The steering wheel was even re-positioned. All 3 mirrors were moved. The radio station was even changed. It was on a station that's not even in my presets! When I took my car in, it had a full tank and when I picked it up, it only had 3 quarters of a tank. When I dropped my car off, my average MPG was at 30.6 and when I picked it up, it was at 20.2 average MPG. There was absolutely NO reason for anyone to test drive my car if the only thing wrong was computer updates. And even if so only around the block, not ¼ tank of gas! These boys had my car all day joy riding! I went back in to express my displeasure with the seat being moved to which Jay responded with ""our techs are tall", no apology, nothing. I have been tto many, many mechanics and not one of them has ever moved my seats let alone my mirrors and radio! I've been to locations with valets that are more than 6 feet tall that never move my seat. That is car service 101: YOU NEVER MOVE THE CUSTOMER'S SEATS. More than that, YOU NEVER TOUCH A CUSTOMER'S RADIO OR MIRRORS. I have tried to contact the service manager but haven't received a response. I will NEVER ever EVER go back to your location for service. I will go all the way to Daytona if I have to. Your location is the most unprofessional shop I have ever seen in my entire life! Plus, you owe me a tank of gas! I will be researching to find the owner of Classic Honda Orlando to have a conversation with him. Try to remember that you never know who you're talking to when a customer comes in. Everyone should be treated with respect, courtesy and professionalism. My schedule service appointment was handled by Dave Malcolm and he kept us informed and got the required work done faster than his estimated time. The work was done correctly and in a reasonable amount of time. The work was done right and the car was cleaned. I went here again because I had to take my battery out so this made my navigation system clear out. (I didn't have time to go elsewhere due to having work at 2pm) I had the wrong pin (the previous owner did not put the new pin in) I came here because only dealerships can help with that stuff. They told me something was wrong with my navigation and it was going to be $200 to get my ID number from my nav to see what the "problem" was. SO THAT $200 WAS JUST TO SEE WHAT THE "problem" was! I said no way because i've never had an issue with the navigation prior to this so I knew I just had the wrong pin. I then took it to another dealership in Clermont (they were so nice, go there!) and they looked up my cars history and sure thing, there it was- the correct pin. I put the pin in and everything worked again. And by the way, the ID was in my truck, not in my hood. How are you guys even open? ANYWAYS- point is. Absolutely not. Never again. I visited Classic's website and saw a car on the website they claimed to have in inventory. I called and talked to an internet sales guy who CONFIRMED that the car was on the lot. My hubby and I drove over an hour to the dealership to make a purchase. The second we pulled into a parking space, there were two sales people who came directly at is. We were not even out of the car...feet hadn't even hit the ground, and one of the sales people was asking what he could do for us. We just said "hello" and gathered our things. We walked the lot to see if we could find the car we'd come to see and two of them followed us around. We evaded them and decided to go inside and speak to a sales manager. The one sales guy followed us inside. I felt uncomfortable, so I waled toward the ladies room. He followed me to the bathroom!!! I felt completely stalked! I understand wanting to make a sale, but BACK OFF! After I emerged from the ladies room (and the coast was clear), I went to the sales desk where five sales managers were standing around. One man looked at us and said, "Do you need something?" (Wow...) I explained why we were there, what we'd been told on the phone. An older man comes up and asks, "What are you looking for?" We told him. He didn't recognize the name of one of their own cars. Then, a third manager steps in and asks what we're looking for. We said, "We were told you had a 2015 Honda Fit." His eyes grew wide and his mouth fell open. "We don't have those yet." We said, "We were told you did." He said, "Well, we don't." They just stood there with their mouths hanging open, dumbfounded, denying we'd been instructed on the phone that something was on the lot. Okay....all that aside, I can understand possible miscommunication and the over-anxious-followed-me-to-the-bathroom sales guy, but THREE Mr. Man sales managers treated us as if they could care less that we'd brought our business to their dealership. They weren't polite of helpful at all. All they had to say was "How can we help you? Oh...we're so sorry, we don't have that right now...let me see what we can do..." Anything. Instead, they stood there chastising us after we'd spent gas money to drive round trip over two hours. THAT is not customer service. In fact, that is bait and switch. Bad job fellows. Have a very unpleasant experience with this dealership. As requested I left a $500 deposit in order for them to to secure a vehicle from another dealer because of desired color and equipment. After 3 weeks and several changes in story I was informed the vehicle was not going to be available. I am now told I must return to the dealership in order to secure my original deposit. That requires a 40 mile round trip and 2 hours of my time. If at all possible I would strongly suggest you look for another Honda Dealer. I took my 2014 Honda Accord in to be serviced because the tire pressure light came on. I was told that both of my front tires had a nail in them. They said that one could be patched for $25, but the other couldn't be patched and definitely needed to be completely replaced for $150. Thinking I could get the work done much cheaper elsewhere, I declined the dealership's offer to service my car and took it to an independent tire shop just 1/2 mile down the road. I told the tire shop mechanic what the dealership told me... that I had a nail in both of my front 2 tires, and that one could be patched while the other needed to be replaced. The mechanic said that you really can not determine any of that until you remove the nails and see what kind of damage was actually done to the tire. He removed the nails, and both of them turned out to be tiny, broken-off pieces of screws that were less than 1/4 inch long. Neither screw had actually punctured the inside of the tires, and both tires were perfectly fine! Neither tire needed patching or replacing. The tire shop could have very easily told me the same thing the dealership told me, and just offered to do the unnecessary work for less. But they did not. They were completely honest and upfront with me. They were more interested in gaining my trust and loyalty than making a quick buck off of me. I returned to the Honda dealership and spoke with service manager Dervin Carty. I told him how upset and disappointed I was that his service department told me I needed work done on my car that I did not actually need. He said he understood why I would feel that way, but insisted that his service department did nothing wrong. Even when I told him that I had been lied to, he still defended his technicians and refused to admit any wrong doing. He then offered me a token free oil change to make me feel better, but I declined. I left the dealership even more angry and upset than I had been before I arrived. The Honda dealership lied to me, and then tried to spin it like I was in the wrong. I will never again visit this dealership. read more

Our family just bought its 4th vehicle from here, and our salesman never lets us down...what a great experience! I can't speak for any other salesman, but if you want a guy with integrity ask for "MO" he's been there for 15 yrs. for a reason. We've bought new & used cars as well with no problems. Yes, it is a no haggle pricing dealer now, but you can always negotiate on your trade in:). Toyota dealer screwed me royally when I was young and stupid and years later they haven't changed the way they do business. We even test drove cars we saw on their other classic dealership website-we called our sales guy, and within hrs. He had the cars at Classic Honda ready for when we arrived. Rule of thumb is always have your financing prior to arriving, & do your homework in the vehicle your looking to buy. The only time a dealer beats your bank is if you have excellent credit. Person on the phone verified my vin number and set me up for an inspection appointment because I was able to qualify. Drove 45 min to the location only to be told that there was no recall available for my vehicle. Purchased my 2018 honda accord almost 2 weeks ago with the extra warranty. I had a rip on the side of my new tire. Called the service dept. A couple of days ago in classic honda So the serv dept rep said I had coverage on everything in my car up to 90 days and to bring it so I made the appt. I showed up today And they asked me if i had warranty on it and that the 90 day warranty didn't apply to new vehicles so that was a red flag i encountered . I also requested a free car wash. I waited an hr so they can check with the finance dept so they can tell me the extra warranty didn't cover tires. They wanted to charge me almost $300 for one new tire. I told them to return my car and they didn't even perform the car wash as well. Very poor customer service and that service dept is the only downside of the classic honda dealership . some years ago I had another bad experience as well. So it goes without saying. Horrid Service. Left In Less Than Five Minutes. Will Never Go There Again. Likely Never Buy Another Honda. -- This is a new 2014 Civic Coupe, approx 1700 miles. We had been very happy with the car but started to notice a few issue and expected to have the addressed. The HUD goes blank randomly and can stay down from hours to weeks. There is an occasional pause when shifting from reverse to drive, like a band slipping in the transmission. The tint appears to be coming unattached from the back windshield on the passenger side. There is an area, approx 6" X 4" that is distinctly discolored, It was the last item, that is the main cause of this review. I was told that this was "normal" If this type of shoddy workmanship is "normal" for Honda, then I for one, have no desire to ever own another Honda. I have attempted to contact the Dealership, as well as Honda America Customer Service and have basically been ignored. I will allow a few more days, for any of them to contact me, before filing a complaint with the BBB, then the State under the "Lemon Law" and buying some magnetic signs to place on the car saying "THIS LEMON WAS PURCHASED AT CLASSIC HONDA, ORLANDO, FL" read more

Today my husband and I visited this dealership and was greeted (barely greeted) by a sales rep. We advised him that we were interested in looking at the new Pilot. The rep did not ask us any questions...acted as if he could care less about our potentially buying a car. He attitude was apathetic and it his amazing that a business would have an employee so disinterested in a customer. My husband and I left the honda dealership and drive across to the Jeep dealership where the sale step was happy to greet us....he demonstrated his knowledge about the jeep that we were interested in .....what a difference. Recommendation to the Honda management team: remind the sales rep H (I won't mention his name) that he is 'encouraged' to speak to customers...ask them about their needs and requirements and act as though he is interested. read more

BUYER BEWARE!!! Went into Classic Honda to discuss my options regarding my lease, since my car was due for an oil change and it also had a recall (airbag). Checked out a few vehicles and started discussing numbers with the "salesmen" and "sales manager." We went outside to take a look at my car (spoke about the minor damage to the car) and then came into to talk about returning, trading or buying the vehicle. So, I was advised that the best thing to do was to return the vehicle and get into a another lease, and I'll only be responsible for the excessive miles and last two payments. I asked, several times to both salesmen what I'd have to pay just to be clear. Again, I was told only the excessive miles and last two payments (which would've been less that $1000). So, I decided to go with a new lease and return the old vehicle. Well, on May 5th I logged into my account to pay the balance and was in total utter disbelief $4500 was due (majority from that minor damage)! WTH! So, I immediately contacted Honda Financial and Honda Classic, even went to the dealership twice. Well, Honda Financial was apologetic and was willing to help as much as they possible can and believes that Classic should make a payment on my behalf. But, Classic doesn't want to take any responsibility for misinforming the consumer and taking some and/or all of the financial responsibility. Telling me, "I should've known what was in my previous contract." First of all, I never received a return of vehicle receipt and that has an disclaimer on it regarding returning a vehicle, in which I was unaware. Secondly, according to Honda Financial and their sister company Holler Honda, I was suppose to have a vehicle inspection done before and transaction ever took place. Shameful experience. I had a factory battery replaced in Oct of '16 while the car was still under warranty. It was a 500CCA or 3yr battery. That battery died 8/5 on the other side of the Osceola County on a Sunday pretty far from a Honda dealership, ON A SUNDAY. I Ubered to a WalMart after trying to jump it for 30mins with dead battery in hand. Get it changed go and on the road. Today I call this place to verify that it was still under warranty whether by an inch or a mile. The lady on the phone said yes after looking me up and said they would prorate the difference. I arrive at the service department and Mr. Dowe informed me that not only was it not available for warranty as it was a warranty replacement but would not be prorated either. Good Job on customer service. I may only live a couple of miles away but please remember I get to choose where I spend my money and suggest to each and every one of my neighbors in College Park to choose another place. read more

Have a Honda Accord that I had taken to the service department for work on my front end. I had hit a huge pot hole and damaged the steering on my car. The repairs were done and covered under my warranty. When I picked up my car and left the dealership my front end was shaking. My husband contacted the service department and he was told that we needed new tires. We took my car and put new tires on but my Honda never seemed to drive quite right. I continued driving my car and a few months later my husband noticed my tires were ruined and the outside of the tread was completely gone. These were brand new tires with 15000 miles on them still way under the tire warranty. My husband called and talked to Steve and was told my front end was still under the warranty date but we had gone over on the miles so the warranty would not be honored. My husband them called him back to see if they had even bothered to do a front end alignment on the car at the time they had repaired the front end damage but our phone call was never returned. So now i get to buy another set of tire and get a front end alignment. Poor customer service. read more

Walked in today with my father hoping to buy a brand new CR-V, we come here all the time to service his Honda Accord so we thought we might as well buy it here. After we walked in no one paid any attention to us, after a while I had to ask for a sales person to talk to us. Some big gentleman came and before we could even talk about the car he straight up told us "NO NEGOTIATION" and that all the prices on the stickers are the lowest price guaranteed and they can beat any competitors with those prices (lol sure you can..) I tried explaining to the gentleman that the practice did not make any sense because at the end of the day people wants the best possible deal right? Try telling it to these guys. I told him I was able to knock down 5 grand easy on Reed Nissan next door so why wouldn't I negotiate? He told me if I don't like it I can talk to the manager. I found a car by searching the internet that was part of Classic Honda's inventory. After thinking about the vehicle for a week I contacted the dealership. I spoke with a sales rep and received additional information and set a tentative time to view the car on the weekend. He stated he would give me a call on the Friday to verify the viewing. On Saturday I received a call from the dealership for a viewing. Within 3 hours I was at the dealership to view the car. The car was as described with the only issue being I could not test drive the vehicle as it had not had a mechanical check yet (trade in)(safety recall check). I asked when this would be completed and was informed likely during the week and I would receive a call when it was ready. We left and about 2 hours later received a call that it was ready for a test drive and there were no issues preventing a test drive related to a recall. We arrived within 1.5 hours and was informed there was a customer purchasing the car right now and if they do not follow through in the next few days it will be back available. The individual purchasing the car was standing outside near the car staring at our family through the glass. There was no way the individual would have known we were interested in the car. There were so many issues with the buying experience I will never return. A very disappointing experience and I will never return. Definitely something strange going on that I was not aware of. Awful experience. Because I questioned a repair made to my tire I am now banned from obtaining service there on my 2015 Honda. I went there because tire pressue gauge on. Service Mgr, Dervin not professional at all . Made me follow him to garage to retrieve tire he said was from my car from previous day which he pulled from a pile of tires in the back garage that I had to walk to behind him, and then he stated since i had a trust issue with him - unless I stood in the garage and supervised repair, I had to leave and was not welcome to come back and get my brand new car serviced there. I'm not a mechanic and wouldn't know what they were doing anyway. Horrible, humiliating, degrading experience. They need a lesson in customer service. Absolutely no professionalism, no courtesy and NO customer service. I am a professional, single female senior citizen and would not recommend them to anyone. read more

I went to Classic Honda last week and had a wonderful experience. I had been car shopping the day before and due to the overbearing salesmen I encountered at other car dealerships, I was expecting more of the same from Classic Honda. Surprisingly, this was not the case. Gary Bowen couldn't have been nicer and did not use any pressure tactics whatsoever in an attempt to make a sale. In fact, he was so forthright and honest, that both my daughter and I ended up leasing a car from Gary that night! We were at the dealership til almost midnight and everyone couldn't have been nicer. The finance Director, Sophia was very professional and made the task of signing numerous documents almost effortless. She went above and beyond to get the best financing for my daughter. I also want to mention Ali who also helped in every way possible to insure we were getting the best service. He even made arrangements to pick up my trade in from my house. All in all, Classic Honda made the buying of a vehicle a very pleasant experience and I would recommend them to anyone who is interested in buying a Honda or a pre-owned car from their lot. on thursday 01/07/2016 i dropped my vehicle inf for a safty recall and issue with my tires. i purchased the vehicle from classic honda 10/31/2014 with 27,xxx miles on it, i notice when i took it in for it first oil changes that they told me i need tires soon. from the time i purchased the vehilce from its first service was about 47xx miles later. but whatever the situation was classic honda sales manger decide to replace the two front one which i was fine with. once they replace the two front tires i decide since they where nice to replace the two front tires, that i will purchase the two back tires from them that way my vehicle has matching tires. picked the vehicle up the next day notice on my way home i started to hear lot of road noise. noise get real louder once you accelerate. also notice the next morning when i was inspecting the tires i notice all of my rims had a scratch around the whole rim. which had to come from the tire machine goose neck which was probably a metal goose neck instead of plastic one. very horrible service from the tech gabriel, before the sale manger agreed to replcae the tires tech. gabriel try to say that my tires where good and noting was wrong with them which was a lie. front tires where bold. i wont reccomand this delaership to nobody. all i want is this issue to be fix read more
