Obnoxious dealer ever!! I am a Michigan resident and drove all the way there to buy a car from that sick dealership. Firstly, they sold me a car which they claimed that they did a full inspection on it, but on my way home, the car started shaking which was a very life-threatening Case. I mean how could they sell destroyed cars to their customers!! That was a big lie from them. Secondly, the used car manager TJ was absolutely Unprofessional and rude. He doesn't let his customer to talk, all he wants to do is talk rudely and He wants money without the customers satisfaction he doesn't care about customers at all specially for someone who drove all the way from Michigan. I couldn't drive it to MI that night, I had to pay for a hotel and stay for the night which they didn't reimburse me for. Next day I woke up and I went to the dealer they fix the problem and guess what? On my way back to Michigan, the same problem the shaking problem started back again. This dealership is very dishonest and disrespectful to their customers. Secondly, when I came back to Michigan I called them and they told me if I can take the car back to them they'll pay me the full price. I drove the car back with a heavy tension in me and on my way back I rented a car which they didn't reimburse me for. Also they didn't pay me the money but I return the car, they told me I will receive my check in 1 to 2 weeks but two weeks passed, I didn't get the check yet. See how dishonest they are! Last week we bought our 3rd car from this dealership (one in 2007, then 2017 and 2018). We've been happy to work with these guys each time. I've been in more than one car dealership that hasn't treated me very respectfully being a young woman trying to buy a car, but that is definitely not the case with this dealership. The service department is also great! I've had service departments who take over an hour and a half to do an oil change or sell me something that's not necessary. Today I was quoted about an hour for tire rotation, oil change, etc. I walked out of there in 40 minutes, and again felt like I was treated with respect and nobody was trying to sell me unnecessary services. I even overheard them recommending some probably necessary services to someone who decided to hold off and they allowed that to be the customer's decision. Small things like this really add up and can make for a great dealership/service department that will keep people coming back! read more

I haven't had the best encounters with some of the staff here. The people I met with when I initially leased my car were outstanding. They were friendly, attentive and the sole reason I'm giving this place 2 stars. However, ever since I leased my vehicle, I've had not-so-great conversations with people. The first came, when I was pulled over for having expired plates, three-months after I first leased my car. Now, in my experience, plates always expire on my birthday or one-year from the purchase/leasing date. I guess Classic Honda has some system by which mine expired three months in--a detail never brought to my attention. Yes, I am at fault because I should've checked, but when I called to ask why this was never once brought up (especially since the dealer nor the state sent me the usual notification telling me to renew), I was met with a bash of defensiveness. In fact, the person I spoke to was downright rude, telling me I'm solely to blame for the situation and the blame rests on me (Again, it's pretty typically the dealer or state notifies you that a renewal is coming up). The second encounter I had came after I relocated to California. Prior to my departure, I called the dealership to see about any paperwork I needed to register my car in another state. And although I reiterated the question several times, I was told again and again that I simply needed to check in with a new dealership after my move. Well, turns out there's a lot of paperwork I needed. And when I called to voice my displeasure with not knowing this, I was once again met with a brick wall. The financial person I spoke to, basically called me a liar and told me that no one in that department would ever tell me such a thing (they did). Thankfully, when I got on the phone with Honda Financial Services, I was able to speak with someone who was extremely helpful and kind. I came in to get my car looked at when the engine light came on (damn you catalytic converter) and was treated like a king. I puchased my Fit here in 2010 and returned yesterday (June 2017) and bought an HRV. Consistent friendly, professional service with no shady tactics or weird stuff. I left a nearby dealer angry after getting a crazy runaround and strange sales tactics on an agreed online deal that was supposed to already be done. After several hours at the "other" dealer, I walked out and immediately drove to Classic. Something I should have done in the first place but I didn't think they had the exact car I wanted in stock. Jose was my main salesperson and he was low key, friendly, professional, and pleasant. All the paperwork was straightforward, clearly explained, and painless. I didn't browse too much this time because I knew what I wanted coming in, but the showroom is bright and airy. They seem to emply the proper number of employees. Enough to meet the needs of the incoming customers but not so many that they stalk customers like vultures the moment they pull into the lot. I had an awesome experience at Classic back in 2010 and should have given them the first opportunity in 2017. A few months ago I brought my car in for an oil change and airbag recall. They told me that I had a torn CV boot that needed to be replaced for $140. I put it up on my dads car lift so that I could order the right part to put on, and there was no tear in any of the CV boots. I don't like getting scammed, so I won't be back. read more

This is the second time in the last two years that I have bought a part from them. This time it was a gas cap. They did have it in stock so I made the mistake of buying it. $$$$ 78.00 $$$$ with tax. I put it on the car and went home. Once I was there I went on line and found the same part number for sale by several places for $33 - $45 shipped. I expect to pay a little more to by locally but I can't help wondering how much money they make overcharging people. I will never buy another part there and advise everyone else to do the same. There are so many other sources than these guys. The sad part is I could have waited 2 days for Amazon and saved half. SHAME ON YOU !!!! read more

Been taking my car here since 2009 when I bought my Accord. This most recent time I had to wait 4.5 hours for them to diagnose a rattle in my car which was never found and I walked away with just an oil change and saying "keep an eye on it:" Also, my dashboard had a few buttons where the backlighting was not lighting up anymore. They said the bulbs were burnt out and not covered which I would understand but the lights come on sporadically and therefore confirms they are not burnt out but rather a loose connection. I asked the dealership for any type of documentation of the bulbs being tested and they could not prove that they tested them. Just that they said they tested them which is not good practice in my opinion. I asked them to check again and give me the documentation and they would have to charge me if they did. RIDICULOUS! I am never buying Honda again. read more

I believe the word stupid motherfu**** would be the understatement of the century when it comes to their service department. Years ago, I leased a brand new 2005 Honda Civic- worst car ever!!!! (The radio over heated & almost caught on fire in less than 2 yrs, the car had difficulty starting in the winter or wouldn't start at all, it didn't hold up to natural elements at all & started rusting in less than the 4 yrs I leased it, etc...). But the sales man who helped me, Vince, was amazing! Once we got to talking & he discovered that I love racing cars,etc... he took me outside to show me his souped-up mini van- super awesome! However, when it came to their service department I found them confused, unorganized, greedy, overpriced, lazy, & sexists! That's right ladies, they have the whole "She's a woman & doesn't know anything about cars" attitude. I brought my car in to have the radio replaced & one of their mechanics & some sales twerp came out to the waiting room & tried to scam me into buying new tires. I had , literally, just had all 4 tires replaced & rotated at another shop who was much cheaper 3 days prior. These "men" had the nerve to tell me that all 4 of my tires needed replaced & they were concerned I wouldn't make it home safely because they might blow out. I was absolutely enraged & was like 'Really! You're really going to pull shit with me"? I thought the sales twerp was going to crap his pants when I said that but he still kept carrying on & on about my tires. When I explained I had just had the tires replaced the mechanic acted as if I was crazy & lying to them- he continued to argue with me until I told them to open the glove compartment because the receipt is in there- wtf!!! There garage manager at the time, Gary, was equally as stupid. I had scheduled an appointment with him to have my windshield replaced. When I pulled into the garage he kinda freaked out & panicked.. Gary was all like "What are you doing here...I never scheduled a wind shield replacement , we don't even do those here. We have to call someone in to replace it". Completely oblivious! I then reminded him that it was him who scheduled the appointment for me ..he ran off to some other guy who must've reminded him that he did have the wind shield guy coming in because he came back & said everything was okay. Never apologized for the mix up & still seemed very confused. he then lost my paper work & said he couldn't find me in the system when it came time to pay. Seriously annoying! And whenever I would get my car back, I would have to drive down the street to the car wash & have it re washed. H9onda always left white water spots all over my car & seemed offended when I asked them to never wash my car again. read more

I sent my old reliable 2005 CR-V for the airbag recall. Service was prompt and staff very courteous. When they said it would be an hour wait, they were right on the money. They have a nice little seating area with free coffee, bottled water, TV and magazines. Loaner cars are also available for prolonged waits. I was treated very well. read more

Went in to look at 2012 Odyssey tourings and to get my trade evaluated. Had agreed to a price on the van and then the trade-in estimate came 2k lower than expected at a KBB "Good" rating. Told them they needed to do better and to call me with another estimate. 24 hours go by with no call so i call and get it 1k below expected value. Go to another Honda dealership, got my price on the car, and got full value on the trade with a 5 year 1.9 financing while not buying any extras. These salesmen will try to make the most profit from you however they can. If they would have been upfront and realized the no-nonsense EDUCATED type of buyer they had, they would have had 2 new car sales in the span of a week. Instead my business went elsewhere. 2016 Civic owners beware !!!! Known defect on ac condensers. Get replaced before 36kmiles/36 months. Dealers are told to recharge to get you past the warranty claiming the Honda factory must not have put in enough Freon. Don't believe it. When I approached the service associate about the known problem he simply stated how many cars out of the ones made had the problem. I'm sure Honda is an iso9000 company which strives for only one part per million failures, and looks like they're pushing this expense to the owner. I'm sure they are far short. Have driven many miles in my life and had cars over 10 yrs and never had to replace a condenser!!! read more

Once again, everyone involved from my salesman, John Hang, to finance and to service (where I bought some accessories) everyone was great to deal with. They were very patient and thoroughly answered all of the questions my wife and I had. I had a great experience with Classic. Buying a car is the last thing I want to do because of all the drama some sale people try to put you thru. I am not an emotional buyer so that drama is annoying. I started with Classic by getting an online quote. Matt emailed me within 20 minutes. He knew I was shopping around and I will say that every other dealership kept calling, emailing and texting. I know they need to make a living but that totally turns me off. The actual sale of our car was a good experience. Getting the extended warranty has been a nightmare. What wasn't explained to us, is that we HAVE to get our car serviced by them. We live 50 minutes away. Very inconvenient. Then per our warranty, they are supposed to have a loner car when our car is being serviced. They NEVER seem to have any. I am always left without a car.
