Isabelle is the best hair stylist I have in Bay Area I went for an appointment ,1 at day of reopening post COVID lockdown . 10/10 safety and cleanliness . Client are separate into 2 different rooms , more than 10-15 feet is social distancing between client . I was the only client during my appointment, I feel very safe ! 10/10 fast and professional cutting . Horrible experience, they are just way too slow. I wouldn't recommend it. There are only two hair dresser at the salon, one is the trainer, the other appears to be the trainee. I arrived at 2pm and the trainee started to cut my hair. Half way through, he said he didn't know how to continue, he had to ask his trainer to take over his job. Then there I was, sitting there waiting for 2 hours until 5pm. During this 2 hours the hair dresser trainer had already finished the hair cut for other 5 customers who came in later than me. I was furious so they said they would not charge me. But I am still very upset because I had wasted the whole afternoon, plus I had to make another appointment with other hair salon to finish the half-way-cut hair. read more

Nancy is just magical! I have had many facials in my life - around the world - but this one is clearly the best! My main purpose with facials is to remove break-outs and the relaxing part is secondary. Nancy ensures both. She is very thorough, quick and does this amazing massage during the facial which is so relaxing, that when you wake up you are disoriented (in a good way). My face is never red the next day and results show extremely fast. I will now add laser hair removal too as there's nothing she can't do I believe. I wish I could come more often as I drive from San Francisco. Price is very reasonable and definitely worth every dollar spent! read more

This review is for Isabelle, the hair stylist. One star for being nice. One star for very nice head message. I have healthy asian straight hair. The style I wanted was not far different from the style that I went in with. I have blunt bangs with overall layer cut. I just needed her to reshape the layers. First of all, Isabelle was very nice. However, her attention and skill for cutting hair was not what I expected based on previous reviews. I showed her two pictures of the hair styles that I wanted. One was for front part and another is for overall style. I brought in the pictures because I wanted to make sure where I wanted my layers to start and how it would frame my face. I also told her specifically that I wanted my layers to look like these pictures. She glanced at both pictures. Yes, just glanced. She didn't even "look" at them. It was a red flag for me. But, I guessed she would know what she would be doing. So, she washed my hair, gave me very nice head message. (Thanks for the message.) Came back to the chair. She started blow drying my hair with maximum heat. It was weird to me because at every hair salon that I have been to, styling came after cutting. Anyway, I just figured she probably didn't know how to cut wet hair. Another red flag for me regarding her skills. But, I let her do her thing. Now, my hair is totally dry. I told her not to chop off too much because I wanted to keep my original length. She said okay. Then, she chopped off at least 2 inches of my hair. Another red flag! Then, she randomly picked up sections of my hair and stared making random layers. That's when I was 100% sure I made a mistake in coming here to have her cut my hair. I came to get professional hair cut because I wanted professional cut. If I knew she was going to do random cut, I could have done it myself. For the face framing layers, she did none whatsoever. It didn't even seem to cross her mind. So I let her know that I wanted face framing layers around my face. She said okay. Then, she picked up random section of hair close to my face again and started trimming them. Then, she cut my bangs straight. The kind of the cut that your mother would cut your bangs when you were 5 years old. It's fine because the bangs will grow fast and i could fix it myself in 2 weeks. It's been over a month now since I got my hair cut with Isabelle. Do I have layers in my hair? Yes. Are they even and professional looking layers? No. I have random layers all over my head. Some sections in the back are way too short and some at front are just weird looking. So, if you want a nice head message, go to Isabella. If you want "just a hair-cut", go to Isabella. She is nice enough and her price is cheap. But, if you want a hair-stylist who can professionally cut your hair and customize your needs, find someone else who has those skills. Investing in the professional hair cut is never a bad idea. I know the hair grows. But, they grows slowly. At the meantime, you are not happy with your appearance and want to pull out your own hair because you are frustrated with it. That's all. read more

Had my first haircut with Isabelle today, recommended by a friend long time ago. I haven't been there b/c I live half an hour away and there are tons of hair salons close to me. But I had a bad haircut a few days ago and I couldn't stand how it looked like. So I decided to go out of my way to try a new stylist recommended by my friend. I arrived couple minutes before appointment time and Isabelle was already sitting at the reception desk waiting for me. Isabelle She is very friendly and patient. She suggested to me future hairstyles for the shape of my face. But for now, since my hair was cut way too short, she made it look much better. This salon is new and is a great beauty salon for haircuts and for facials! They have more than 5 different types of facials that deals with acne and wrinkles! Most people just see the chairs for haircuts, but they don't know that they also offer great facials! I've only done 2 sessions for the facial package of 5 session and my face feels so much clean whenever I go. It also helped reduced my acne by a LOT!
