I saw Bella for a partial highlight service this weekend. First time trying a new hair artist after years. Had no inspo pics, just a general vibe I wanted. This girl, through some sorcery, not only figured out how to get me what I want, but exceeded ALLLL my expectations. By the end of the appointment, we were finishing each others sentences. We were lucky enough to get an appointment with Vanessa and couldn't be happier! My teenage daughter wanted a layered haircut and Vanessa gave her a beautiful and perfectly styled cut. I was really nervous because I haven't done something major to my hair like this in a long time, my hair is like a security blanket. This salon is located in the same complex as Olive Garden, Rock n Jump trampoline and India Cash and carry! I tend to do a lot of research before getting a haircut, especially since I only go when I'm in the mood for a real makeover! During my search, I came across Crush Salon and was convinced to try it based on the great reviews. There was a last-minute opening with Sabrina, and I'm so glad I took it! Sabrina was great with communication -- she even texted me to say she was running a little late with her previous client, which I appreciated. I asked for a long bob, and even though it can be a bit tricky to finish in one hour, she didn't rush. She took her time and did a perfect job. I have thick Indian hair, and at most salons I usually have to ask for thinning. But Sabrina knew what was needed and started thinning it without me even asking. Made an appointment for 5/26 at 9am. I was very specific with who I was on the phone with that I wanted a shag haircut and to book me with someone who could do that as I've never been there before. Came in when scheduled and Sabrina was who I was booked with. I let her know that I was there for a shag haircut and she looked surprised. She also said that it wasn't her specialty. Very concerned at this point. I showed her a few inspo pics and she reassuringly said don't worry, I got you. I had a shag previously, but it had grown out. All I wanted was to keep the length and have the shorter layers redone. She cuts my hair and then proceeds to do a blow out even though I told her that I normally scrunch curl my hair and let it air dry. She even agreed that most people she knows with a shag style their hair the same. So back to the blow out... She was turning my hair under at the top so it looked like I had a mushroom on top of my head. Devastating. I couldn't tell at all if the layers were correct as I never where my hair straight. I have natural curls. While Sabrina was nice and friendly, I shouldn't have been scheduled with someone who couldn't do that haircut or have her still attempt it. She could tell I was unhappy with it and said I could "live in it" for 10 days. I asked if I should reach out to her to fix it within the time frame and she very adamantly said "no, I have you're number. I'll reach out to you." I'm leaving 2 stars for it being under $100 and it only taking an hour. Hair cut was wrong, style was wrong, and she never reached out to me. I won't be back read more

Went to Crush Salon and had my hair done by Fallon, and I'm honestly obsessed with how it turned out. She really knows her stuff and makes the whole appointment feel easy and relaxed. I showed her a general idea of what I wanted and she nailed it without overdoing anything. Did not like this place. Not even OK haircut & forget about blowout. I am new to area so this was my first time and definitely the last time at this place. I am sure this is little different review than most of the 5 star reviews out there. But I will tell you here my entire experience. I had an appointment scheduled for which I was running 10 mins late. I tried calling them as soon as I missed the highway exit and map suddenly detoured me for 8 ish mins. Since then I kept calling until I finally reached, (at least 8-10 times) just to inform but no one picked up the call. I finally reached and there was no one at the front; another lady working at the salon just kept looking at me. And when I said, I am here for my appointment, she said ohh your stylist is gone as she thought it's a no show. I was like what? Then she called my stylist and told me to wait few mins. As soon as my stylist came she began the conversation with hey, I would like to reschedule you. And I was like what? I barely managed everything to be here, you guys have a buffer window for all appointments of 10-15 mins and I was here in same time window. But she said no, I moved my other clients as it was no show. I asked her, who told you its a no show? As I was calling so many times to keep you informed. Then she said it is in our app. I was like "firstly, no one informed me anything about the app you are talking about; next I don't even need hair wish ( which was been mentioned in the notes of my appointment at the time of booking) which was directly going to save at least 10 mins of my appointment anyways, on top you didn't have a front desk at the time to answer the call is not my problem and lastly I arrived here in my buffer time frame." Next I asked her, why you didn't call me to confirm? Why did you just assume? Then she was like wait I think I can get you started. Which was nice of her I guess. So then we spoke for first two minutes on what I want and how would like to have my haircut. She directly started with how much length I need and with few layers. It is been at least 16 years I am getting beautiful haircuts, and I can tell when the job is done well or not. Honestly, I would like to appreciate for the stylist to take me after the saga, but hair cut is nothing. It does not even feel like I have got any hair cut done other than bit change in the hair length. Blow dry was a next step which got done in 4 mins or so which is in ideal world impossible. When I said, it does not feel like a blow dry as I was expecting a volume and not hair dry, the answer I received was, "I am sorry, I can not do it as I have my next client there. And I am running late." So I was left like that. Just so you know I spent 93$ for this hair cut. She was a very nice person but not great with hair and her services. Just to be clear, I am not giving such a low star review because of the appointment saga alone but moreover because of the hair cut that was been done. I had a plan to get my highlights done in the next session, but I am definitely not going here again. read more

I've gone to this salon a few times over the past couple of years. I do think they're really talented and their cuts/colors are soooo good. They are a little bit pricey and the only thing I would complain about is a slightly weird experience I had with one of the staff (Maria). I went in for a style and she was pretty rude and impatient. I didn't really know what her problem was but I didn't think it was ok for her to be snappy, especially since I was pretty young at the time and was pretty shocked to be treated like that. My issue is this: I received a very minimal haircut, and my hair fell flat within minutes of the blowout. I later realized this was likely due to the conditioning mask that was used--something I would have never agreed to had I been told it would eliminate volume. I prefer volume, and this product did the exact opposite. I was even more surprised at checkout to learn that this conditioning treatment was not included in the $79 haircut. With the added charge and tip, I walked out paying $136 for a basic haircut and flat, lifeless hair. I've had far better blowouts elsewhere for a fraction of the price and clearly should have gone back to that salon instead. When I tried to express my concerns to management, I was essentially told that nothing could be done except adding "notes" to my account. Because I was traveling and unable to return for a fix, I asked for a partial refund--only to be told that refunds aren't given once a product has been used in my hair. So apparently I paid $35 for 2-4 pumps of conditioner (and that was supposedly the discounted price). Overall, the service was disappointing, the response from management was dismissive, and it's clear they don't value customer feedback. I will not be returning. read more

I scheduled a hair appointment for my daughter with Cassie. It took a while past the appointment time to be seen, but that's pretty typical for most salons. She did a great job, giving my daughter, a very thorough consultation and it's very clear that she has a great understanding of hair, maintenance, and understanding what her clients want. However, she spent the appointment juggling between my daughter and another client, so a service that typically takes about 45 minutes for my daughter ended up taking an hour and a half. At one point, she was at the sink with wet hair for 20 minutes While a treatment sat in her hair. The treatment came at the recommendation of the stylist, but it seems like it was a good way for her to buy some time while she did the other clients hair. When I've had treatmentsat other salons, they don't leave me with my head draped over the sink so that was a little bit concerning, especially since no one went to check on her during that whole time. When we finished, we still had to wait almost 5 minutes for her to join us at reception because she went back to work on the other client. I know this is standard operating procedure for other salons, but when I'm paying $90 for a haircut, I expect to have the stylist's full attention and a prompter service. It was a good cut, I just don't think we'll be back due to how long it took and the fact that juggling clients at the same time seems to be a standard operating procedure at the salon. If you know those things and you're good with them, though, I think it could be a good fit for others. read more

Didn't have any stylist in mind so I just made an appointment and have them randomly assign me one. During the 40 mins haircut session, my stylist dropped her scissors at least 2 times, cut her finger accidentally and kept chatting to other staffs.
