Came on whim to get an all over color and cut. I am so glad I took the risk to do so cause Vee just knew what to do. I wanted to cover an overgrown balayage and cover some greys (don't judge me, your girl gettin' older). I explained my concerns and she gave her professional insight and got to work! This salon was recommended by my daughter who had her hair done here before. I am now a fan and love Mary's work! Location has plenty of parking. It was easy to make an appt with Mary through Yelp and text. When I first got here, I was greeted with a warm smile.Friendly staff. Nice salon decor. Very welcoming. I was able to request a suggestion on how to correct my hair color without a complaint or put down. I welcomed her suggestions, and the color correction the first time and haircut turned out great! Scheduled an appointment through Yelp and deposited $50 to lock in an appointment. Mary did my color and cut & my visit took 3 hours. I've used box dye on my hair 5+ times over 3 years before coming in, and she was able to lift the orange base off to give me an ashy brown color. My base color was dyed darker and metallic highlights were added in. I appreciated Mary's professionalism, patience, and guidance as I had a general idea of what I wanted but wasn't certain. I absolutely love the color and my face-framing layered cut. Mary is a true hairapist; I've been so happy since I walked out of the salon. The salon itself was well-kept. Clean, modern, trendy. I called in last minute for a haircut appointment and luckily got one with Reene. I absolutely loved my experience with hair stylist Reene. Shes super sweet, understanding, explains every step as she works on our hair, super fun to chat with and gentle as well. This is my 1st haircut postpartum so I loved the hair wash and massage. I felt the price to be super steep. For just hair wash, simple trim and blow dry it was a whooping $85 and with tips a total of 100. Felt it was a little too much. I understand for styling or other services the price could be high but for a simple hair cut (just straight cut no layers as well) its too much. I liked how smooth and shiny my hair looked. She helped me pick out a color and then she recommended me to start off with a bit of daker color than gradually go light in color for the next session. Which I really appreciated that she did not want to rush the process and then she trim the ends of my hair and I think she did a lovely job just placing the highlights and not having them so thick I would highly recommend you getting your hair done by her. First off I wanted to say that I have always usually had a phenomenal result from this salon this review is mainly customer service. I usually always went to Mary and she always was able to give me the color I wanted, however I stopped going to her after I went to her to get my hair colored for my wedding. I'm not sure if she was having a bad day but she kept commenting on my dry hair and when I asked her to keep it long she said "you can't just keep it long it has to look good too you know". Normally I understand and appreciate a little bit of sass and honestly but this day she seemed to keep making comments and she was off. My friend even came and sat with me and brought flowers so that we can make this bridal hair appt feel special but she ruined the vibe to the point where my friend told me she wished I went somewhere else. It felt like she kept trying to bring me down and if i had questions she would snap at me so then my friend and I just sat there silently. This was a while ago but I can't stop thinking about it so I wanted to share this. I haven't been since, I do love her work but that day the color, the vibes, the comments, it felt off and hurtful. She followed up very quickly with responses to my appointment request and she was ready at the appointment time. She listened very carefully to what type of style haircut I wanted. 3sixty was hosting a Maui fundraising event and what better timing since I was overdue for a haircut. I've scheduled an appointment with Vee weeks prior. Vee was amazing!!! She totally listened to what I wanted even though I wanted a million things that may or may not work together (eg. low maintenance, lots of layers etc) and gave me her input. When she finished I asked if she could cut it a little bit shorter and even though it was cutting into the next client's time slot she happily continued to work on me until I was satisfied. What can I say. I went to this salon with low expectations (I've had bad experiences with other salons) and honestly I'm blown away from the results!! I got a Brazilian blow out and highlights. Best salon I've been to! I get anxious when I get haircuts just because I don't always get them but I trust this salon 100%. Everyone is very friendly, helpful, and patient. The salon is extremely clean and welcoming. I've had 2 hair cuts done by Vee so far and she does not disappoint, I highly recommend making an appointment with her. The first time was just for a trim but the second time I decided to get bangs, layers, and bleach the front of my head for something different. I have come once before and they absolutely killed it! Though the price is high this salon absolutely deserves its flowers and credit for their care and experience. Today I was taken care of by Cassandra who did a light ash brown on my hair. It is the 4th of July so only two stylists were in, and both were extremely friendly like the last time I came. I was offered refreshments when I got put into the seat and Cassandra really heard me and my needs. I got exactly what I wanted and was treated very gently the entire process. Even gave small samples at the end! I think the higher price point is worth it since you walk out with your hair looking, smelling, and feeling fabulous and the whole experience is just very warming. I moved to Fremont a couple years back, and as a 20-something year old living by herself I had wanted to go to an actual professional salon for once after mostly having my dad cut my hair and going to the salon across the street from my grandma's house in Vietnam. I have gotten a balayage+cut and two haircuts here since then. This salon was such a great experience, everyone is so nice and my hair feels super pampered! They really do put so much care into your hair. I went to a lighter on the wallet sort of place last year and it made me appreciate this place a lot more, even though I don't live in Fremont anymore I think I will continue stopping by honestly. I've had haircuts with multiple hairstylists here, including Renae and, most recently, Shai. I first came to this salon around seven years ago when I lived in Fremont, and even after moving across the bay, I still make the trip back. It's hard to let go of a trusted stylist once you find them! I now have full confidence that I can book with any stylist here and leave completely satisfied. This time, I scheduled my appointment through Yelp for the first time, and it was such an easy and convenient process. Shai was incredible. She took the time to consider how I take care of my hair and offered advice that aligned with my daily routine. She also gave me tips for growing out my hair, which I'm working on, and perfectly understood the style I wanted based on the Pinterest board I showed her. The shampoo and massage were so relaxing that I actually fell asleep after a long day. Shai's calming voice and energy made the whole experience even better. She seemed to naturally sense my vibe, knowing when to chat and when to let me unwind. After a tough day at work and a rainy drive across the bridge, this was exactly the treat I needed. I found 3Sisty Salon on a very random day. I wanted to come my bangs. Renee was my hair dresser. She did such an amazing job, she's very attentive and made sure you are taken care of. I came back a few days later to ask her to fix my bangs for me. I wanted a shit shorter. She fit me in AND did not charge me. Of course I tipped her. What just kind of show you how amazing she is. MY GOD I WAS HOLDING BACK TEARS HERE!!! The girl who did my hair just did not know how to work with my curly hair AT ALLL!! I came in to get my hair blow dried & straightened with a flat iron after coming to the salon with my hair already shampoo'd and conditioned along with doing a K18 hair mask at home. In the beginning I saw her using this small thin plated weak cheap flat iron for my hair and I insisted to give her my flat iron I usually keep one in handy if salons don't have the right tools suitable for my hair. At first she wasn't too worried about it and continued using it until I stopped her again and really told her I'll need a big wide plate flat iron for my hair & titanium usually works best which is why I brought my amazing babyliss nanoplate flat iron with me. Instead she goes to the back and gets another wide plate flat iron she had which was okay but it would've been better if she could had just taken mines that I brought which I know works top tier for my hair. Sad to say my hair had the "crimpy nappy look finish" close to where the roots are to the mid sections of my hair when she finished her job. Maybe if she used my straightener it wouldn't have been a problem every great salon always has a babyliss flat iron, they are the best btw which is how I was put on them in the first place. I had asked her to get her other coworker who had helped her perfectly straighten my bangs when she was straightening my hair in the beginning process. She insisted on asking another coworker and that coworker tells her to blow dry my hair some more to get rid of the crimps in my hair AFTER SHE JUST STRAIGHTENED IT?!?! IMMA CRY WHAT PROCESS IS THAT!!! You wanna dry my hair out some more after damaging it with a flat iron oh no no noooo!!! So she blow dries my hair and straightens over the crimped pieces a billion times more not even exaggerating burning and damaging my fragile curly hair that I already have. The amount of passes she went over my hair with the flat iron was horrific!! My hair was literally treated like a science experiment on hair combustion. From past experiences I usually get my hair flat ironed in like 20-30 mins at salons and it always come out looking amazing. I've never spent 2 HOURS to straighten my hair my god and have it still look horrible at the end!! I was kind of getting nervous because it was for my birthday trip to Las Vegas I had later at 5pm my flight the same day and I had already came in that salon at 11:00AM, left REALLY close to 1:00PM probably 7 minutes before. The other lady who also would jump in to help her straighten my hair some more had hair dye all over her hands and it smelled so bad already dirtying my already clean hair and adding residue from her fingers!!! She came back to help her so she could give me an ends trim that I inquired about while my hair was getting straightened. I asked to get a very tiny trim to the ends of my hair it looked a little uneven at the bottom because I am due for a cut of course, so the lady with the hair die all over her hands snips my hair real quick took her like 1 minute to do. It wasn't the best and it wasn't even, she didn't cut my hair properly the way it is supposed to be done she cut it while I had my hair parted on both sides and a quick snip rather than having all my hair pushed back and then cut it from the back! She FINALLY retouches up my hair to remove some of the crimps she could which I had asked the initial stylist before she fried my hair some more!! Then when it came to paying my total was $90 freakin dollars are you kidding me and I left the salon with still noticeable crimps to the roots of my hair cause I was just so fed up and was not about to have my hair burned some more !!! After all that damage and inconvenience I was put through with the stylist that could barely straighten my hair and for a 1-2 minutes snip that is not justifiable AT ALL!!! I've never spent more than $50 EVERY to blow dry and straighten my hair. I usually pay on average $35-$50 for that particular service!! My day was completely ruined this was for a bday trip that I had put in $3500 for a flight and hotel booking for 4 days so you can only imagine how outraged I am!! Never coming back here again!!! These guys are just money robbers. For heaven sake just stay away from them. We went for hair coloring and hair cut for my spouse. The quoted price on the internet was $150+. When i checked in the counter, they didnt give me any estimate or quote any price. They rushed me to the service station and i was clueless. I was under the impression that the price will be a nominal amount of $150+ but not even in the dream that it will be of 3 times more. Yes they gave me the bill of $485. ($435 counter charges plus $50 for advance booking). For heaven sake, this is a atrocious bill a family can feed on. I have no choice but pay the bill over count to avoid the embarrassment. I am going to dispute this. Please dont ever step into this shop. I can send the picture of the haircut if anyone is interested in proof. Mary, although I was threading very lightly not to talk about your skill personally in my original post (because you are a small business owner and I did not want you to loose clients due to my honest review), it seems like you took my comments about the pricing and overall experience a bit personal. Too personal to a point that some parts of your rebuttal do not make sense if you re-read my original comment (eg. The part about deposit policy). Because you spent some time to put together a rude response, now it is only fair for me to respond. Here is what I should have said originally in my post. Mary, your hair styling skill is stuck in the 80s. I was not born in the 80s but couple friends who saw my hair after you butchered it said it looks like a band member haircut from the 80s. It took me 8 months and 2 haircuts to grow it back to a length and fullness in which I am no longer embarrassed to let my hair down in public. When you said "are you sure you want bangs? It will be hard to use it", I didn't understand you meant "I have no clue what I am doing so you are going to have very hard 8 months trying to grow out this butchered hair". After you cut my hair, not 1 layer length matched another.. My bangs were much heavier and shorter on the right compared to left.. top layer of the bangs were shorter than the bottom (this was a 1st for me).. You seemed proud saying "you should not cut your hair yourself. You should go to a salon because we know the latest techniques". However, you know nothing about hair. I am saying this as a person who grew up going to hair salons and have always gotten compliments on my hair (even when I managed it myself last couple years). Added a picture of my hair before you butchered it and 2 days after my haircut. To stop more of your baseless claims, I made sure to pick the "before" picture from May 2022, before I stepped into your salon in July. Please do all your clients a favor and retire from this job. It does not seem to bring you joy and you don't have the skill. Also take a breath before you respond to your customers comments. Your passive aggressive tone carries to your comments.
