Ok, first timer here. I had no idea what to expect for my first tattoo or anything so I was super anxious! Toby was the artist that worked on my tattoo and he was amazing! He made me feel at ease about the entire process. He checked up on me during the session, gave me a break and was super helpful with the aftercare. Was able to get some work done with Carlos and its honestly the best decision I've made. I wanted to do an anime sleeve so when i talked to him about the idea we got to work. For the Asuna And Kirito on my arm I was nervous because it was my first ever big tattoo but he made me feel comfortable and excited for the session. Arriving to my appointment I come up and everything is very nice and organized has everything set up which made me feel good because I know im able to trust him and he's taking care of me. Everything was wiped and sanitized and also has alot of natural light coming inside the room which made it feel very welcoming also has a giant ring light that he uses and I like that because lighting is absolutely important!!! Made sure to eat before we started because we knew it was going to take a while so hooked us up with some carls Jr. As soon as that was done we started discussing the size and placement and all that is very important because you can't get something with so much detail and get it very small it and expect it to look awesome. Soon as we got it on we started doing the outline it was exciting to see the outline getting done. Surprisingly it didn't hurt like I thought it was it was pretty chill and we were listening to some dope jams and getting to know each other well. Oh did I mention he has a cordless tattoo machine which I thought was cool it just makes it look so much spacious because there's no cables going around it was a pretty good machine too!! Applying of the color was the most exciting to part to see just seeing how he was mixing the colors to get thee perfect match was satisfying you see it on your skin and your like damnnn thats dope that's how i felt. After a couple hours of going in and shading and adding the details we were finally done well I was done my arm was needing a break but i was down to keep going . The finished result was amazing I couldn't believe that i had this amazing piece of art on me and it was all thanks to carlos. Wiped down my arm covered it and told me what to do to maintain it and it worked within 7 days my tattoo was looking amazing nicely healed the colors were all intact and very vibrant. Thats how you know he did an amazing job. Total time for asuna and kirito was about 8-9 hour sesh so worth it did it in one sitting. Anyone who has patience and can take the pain should deff go with him you will not be disappointed. Planning on getting alot of anime work with him. Matt gave me my new favorite tattoo ever, took his time and explained everything he was doing as he designed. He was very sweet and so talented.
