This was my first time coming here but not my first tattoo. I had been following Wendy on IG @wendystattoos who has been apprenticing at this shop for the past year. I really liked her animal designs, and the design I wanted was intended to be animal like. It was easy to schedule an appointment with her, and the shop was easy to find. There was ample street parking and parking in the residential area if you need a longer session. Wendy was patient and purposeful for helping me with the design and placement, and the shop owner was great with checkins and very welcoming. In hindsight, I kind of wish I had gotten my first tattoos here considering how inviting the atmosphere is and the skill of all the artists. Their designs are cool and very versatile. The piece completed on my arm by Wendy exceeded my expectations. She was thorough and had great suggestions to make the design worthwhile! The first woman to open a tattoo shop in California tattooed me. What an honor to be tattooed by the woman herself, Karina. This is the first female-owned tattoo shop in the State of California. She's been a writer and an artist her entire life, a deeply Spiritual person; I had such a great conversation with her. She had the most delicate hand of any tattoo artist I've ever been tatted by. I literally felt none of it at all and she was done before I knew it, perfect shading and a perfectly badass revolver gun on my arm. I had an amazing experience with Gal. I actually got my first and only ink tattoo by Stephanie in February of 2017 so I was so joyful to find that Gal worked there too. (She had moved from a location on Robertson); I found Gal through Instagram and was able to book an appointment so easily! She was so flexible and nice. The actual appointment was so easy! I came in and within MINUTES she had my design ready! I was a little fussy with the sizing and placement but she was very accommodating and just worked with me. The actual tattoo process was super quick and clean. I even felt more comfortable when one of her clients came in and told me how amazing she was and how's she been working on him and his wife. In less than an hour she was able to get both names done and re-outline the rose Stephanie did for me! I am so pleased with her work, and everyone loves how dainty it looks. Karina is amazing! I've had this shop bookmarked on Yelp for about a year, and I had been sitting on this particular lotus design for about 2-3 years. When I finally got less lazy and began asking various shops for quotes, I emailed Karina and she was very quick to respond and said that she'd provide me a unique design based off the ones I showed her. I put down a $100 deposit to save my appointment date and took two acetaminophens (doesn't thin out blood) before my session and also stuffed my face with food. The design that Karina produced for me was awesome! There was one aspect that I wasn't particularly fond of, but she immediately removed it and resized the tattoo to my liking. The whole process was smooth and I wasn't nervous at all. This was my second tattoo, but first one on my rib cage so I knew it was going to hurt. Karina was patient with the placement and made adjustments at my request. Then we were ready to begin! It took under an hour, even though the tattoo ended up being almost twice the size of what I'd imagined. Karina is very sociable and able to chat about almost anything - she's definitely an old soul, and made me feel very comfy. Pricing-wise, Karina was very fair. Overall, amazing service and shop was super clean. I don't know when I'd get my next tattoo, if at all, but this shop would be my go-to whenever I'm living on the west side! read more

Her tattoos are always so beautiful, and she has a real feminine touch so your tattoos wont feel so raised and scar like, its absolutely perfect for floral tattoos. Got a memorial tattoo done by Karina yesterday. It is the daffodil one in the photos and she charged me $180, which I thought was an awesome deal! It was only my 2nd tattoo, and the lat one I had was a year and a half ago, so I was NERVOUS! She was very accommodating to what I wanted, and it made the process much more enjoyable knowing she liked what she was doing! I got to the shop around 3:45, talked to her about my idea, and she told me to go "stuff" myself with food to make the process easier, and be back at 4:30 so she could draw it up. Then she showed me what she had drawn (it was amazing), she set up her station, and we got started around 5. The tattoo itself took about 45 minutes to an hour, and I was out of there by 6! One thing I really enjoyed about Karina was that she let me sit next to her while she was mixing up the colors. She reassured me that they would look different on skin than they did in the tube... the green for my stem looked grey! But she showed me on her skin, and they looked great! It was very reassuring letting me see the colors how they would really look! Also very clean and sanitary. Overall, would definitely recommend this place! read more

I have couple, big and small, and she has transformed my body into a masterpiece, my back is her playground and I trust her 100% of what ever she says yes to, and most importantly NO to. I had been mulling a particular tattoo for some time, and had to find a place to realize my thoughts. That is always the hardest part of getting a tattoo if you don't have someone you have used in the past. Ink Ink Tattoo is where I went, and I met Karina for a consultation. It was helpful that I had art printed out, and had a general ideal of what I wanted. Karina is a true artist and a consummate technician. She took what I wanted, modified it to fit on my shoulder and tastefully modified the piece to better display on my body. She did a great job and her price was fair. She took a small deposit to hold my appointment and that deposit went towards the actual tattoo. The shop is clean, and surprisingly compact, but that's what makes it so comfortable. There is another artist named Stephanie that works at Ink Ink and she and Karina have a great dynamic together. Their banter is hilarious. While Karina was working on me I watched Stephanie clean her station, and tools, and she was meticulous in everything she did. To some Ink Ink may be a throwback to an old school tattoo parlor (minus all the cleanliness issues of course), but that is exactly what I was looking for. I really enjoyed my time there, and I loved the work Karina did for me. Ink Ink has left an indelible mark on me (of course), and I loved every minute of my experience there. read more

With so many tattoo shops on Lincoln Boulevard, it was hard to choose just one. Luckily, thanks to all the great reviews on yelp, I chose Ink Ink. I got my first tattoo this weekend by Karina. She's simply awesome. Completely personable, friendly, super talented, and helpful. She explained the whole process to me which was fascinating; it really is an art. I walked in with a pixelated image of what I wanted and she somehow knew exactly how to fix it and make it perfect. While I was getting the tattoo done, she kept me distracted the entire time by just talking about life. It's wonderful to meet someone who is so open! Before I knew it, she was done! And, being a tattoo virgin, they celebrated in the shop by banging a gong! Prices are great too. I called around to the other shops and they all said $80 (for a finger tattoo). I simply couldn't be happier with my experience or my tattoo from Karina. She did a couple lines of text on my arm and it came out great. Clean, straight lines, and she got the font to look perfect. I was extremely well-taken care of while I was in the shop, even when I got a little dizzy from not eating enough before I went in. Owned and operated by 2 talented, experienced ladies. They're not super young, either, which made it an even greater draw for me. Stephanie even counseled me out of getting all black lettering on my tattoo and encouraged me to go for a color. You can't go back from black, but you can cover color. Made sense, and I'm happy I did get a really pretty green we mixed together. HOWEVER: Service and chick factor aside, I really should have gone in during the free-touch-up window of opportunity, since the coloring isn't totally even and she even missed a few places in the outline, and went over the outline a teeny bit in a couple others. Best tattoo shop in the Venice area! Actually best tattoo shop anywhere. I've been going to this shop for many, many years (10 plus) and I wouldn't go anywhere else. I used to live 5 miles from the shop but I moved, now I drive 30 miles one way just to get my work done there. They know what their doing. Great art, wonderful fine lines and a nice light hand. These ladies are intelligent, creative and have been doing tattoos for a very long time. I have 70% of my body covered and it's all been done at Ink Ink Tattoo! Karina is my main artist but Stephanie has done a few on me also. I recommend them both. They stand behind their work. Give them a call, you won't regret it. read more

Karina was the third and last artist to work on me. She is the BOMB!!!! I have NO tolerance for pain, and Karina has got just the right touch with her tattooing style.
