Been getting my tattoos from the one and only Ken. Super professional, precise and haven't let me down. Will take his time to make sure where, how, what, etc on your tattoo of choice. Highly recommend.

Va va vroooom! What incredible work Frankie does!! He's done most of the pieces on my boyfriend. The word "stunning" doesn't do his artwork justice - his pieces are immaculate. His line work and shading are beyond talented and impressively precise. He's perfection when it comes to black and grey tattoos, irezumi, traditional American, and so much more. Chill vibes in shop and bonus!? They sell motorcycle leather! You'd be doing yourself a disservice by not getting on his waiting list for your lifetime art and memories. Cheers, you brilliant artisian!

Sitting in the heart of Venice I visited Fiveball Studio for the first time. Super clean shop. I got tattooed by Jesse and can't wait to come back for my next session to finish this piece! Everyone at the shop was super friendly! They are an amazing group of artists who take pride in their work as well as making you feel comfortable!

This place is awesome! Me and my friend were visiting from Texas and decided to have a last minute souvenir from California. Vee was amazing!! He took us in and gave us a really good time. He went far and beyond with our tattoos. Was really careful, clean and super friendly. He really knows what he's doing! Our tattoos healed beautifully. The shop is really nice, comfy and vibes are great! We had a really great time and left with a lifetime memory! I recommend this place with closed eyes!!

Frank Ball Jr. is one of the best 'real' tattooers in Los Angeles. He's a second generation tattoo artist born into the trade and his experience and skills are second to none. He does high-end original hand drawn work that is exceptional. The detail in his pieces are amazing. I've gone to Frank for about 10 tattoos over the years and now his private studio is one of the nicest spots you'll ever go! You will be super psyched about your experience and the piece you leave with adorning your body for the rest of your life.

Frank opened a sick ass shop. Go check it out! On top of a tattoo parlor Five Ball Tattoo stocks the Five Ball Racing clothing line. They make dope leather jackets, hats, shirts & more.

    First installment of my sleeve

Frank at Fiveball is a legend. He's been tattooing for 15+ years all over the world. His art is dope and his needle work is top of the line. He's currently working on a sleeve for me and I couldn't be more excited to get more work done with him. His new shop on Park Row in Venice is epic. He built it out super nice, decorated awesome, and most importantly he keeps it really clean! I will be going to Frank for all my work!

Great shop, even better people! Everyone I talked to was really helpful and friendly. The studio is beautiful. Frank Ball Jr's work is best in Venice.

I've had Frank Jr working on my sleeve for the past month and it has been such a great experience getting tattoo'd here!

Cleanliness is a top priority and is taken very seriously (as it should be, but wow they are great). The whole shop is clean, so cute, and welcoming. So many details have been so well thought out. The aftercare instructions delivered on a custom made card, the beautiful selection of high quality jewelry, there aren't enough good things I can say about this place. Alejandra and Niche (maybe Eli too? Not sure, I had very specific needs and did a lot of calling) helped make sure I got the appointment properly scheduled and helped communicate an extreme needle phobia to the piercers Amber and (shop owner) Tidus who did a tandem piercing to get it over with quickly. I highly recommend this spot in general and for kids or adults with needle sensitivity/phobia. Huge thank you to my favorite piercing shop in LA/Santa Monica!!

The person assigned to assist me (I don't recall names/faces well) put the new segment/seemless/clicker ring in the lower lobe/1st instead of the upper/2nd lobe spot. I don't now how they missed the 2nd lobe because I had a light blue plastic place holder in the 2nd lobe so it wouldn't close up, we talked about it to confirm which one it was, and they saw me take the blue plastic out. Yes, I should have asked for a mirror once they finished to confirm they did it correctly but I trusted they knew what they were doing. I didn't notice, my friend pointed it out a bit after I left the shop, my friend moved it into the correct spot for me. Customer service was normal when I first went in but I didn't feel like driving back, finding parking, and blah blah blah over this. Think this was the breakdown, they didn't provide a receipt and I paid cash. Cost was $30 for the sterilized segment ring, $5 for the service, and I gave a $5 tip.
