Let me start off by saying, I don't have super higher expectations from nail services. My friend & I went in last week (Aug 2021), it wasn't busy... we both wanted pedicures. My friends pedicure was done in a rush... within 10mins the pedicure was done. Then the same tech did my pedicure (I chose a premium pedicure) in which she started off fine. 5ish minutes into my pedicure, another client came in and she RUSHED my pedicure as well. She skipped the hot towel, barely scrubbed my feet, I still had all the dry skin on my heels, and she painted my toenails without cleaning the edges/skin so it looked like a 10yr old painted them. I would not recommend at ALL, I paid for shit service and I will not be returning. read more

Just finished my "no chip" manicure and my basic pedicure for $70 and I'd have to say, it looks great! Kim did my nails and a gentleman did my pedicure and he did a great job! When i first walked in, the atmosphere was very peaceful. There is no TV and I actually like it because it made it feel more like a spa than a salon. In the pedicure area, the lights are dimmed and you sit in a massage chair, which was really relaxing. The guy was super gentle with my feet and he wasn't bothered by my constant giggling from the tickling of my feet. Lol he found it funny as well. When he got started on massaging my feet, he dimmed he lights even more and it was heaven! His massage was so relaxing and the atmosphere just made it easy to melt into the chair. They also had plastic bags around the foot tub, which I LOVE! I haven't gotten a pedicure in a LONG time simply because I was afraid of the bacteria in the tubs, so this was a relief! Once he was finished, and i didn't want him to be, I walked over to Kim to have my nails done and she did a wonderful job. She was gentle and meticulous and I really appreciated it. I think my manicure will last a long time because of how much work she put into my nails. Once she was done, she did a hand massage.... which was ok but what i wasn't expecting was the SHOULDER MASSAGE!! She places a warm towel over your shoulders and then BAM, she's going IN on your shoulders and it felt AMAZING! Especially since yesterday was upper body day at the gym. Lol I definitely would recommend this place and I plan to come back. It's been hard for me to find nail salons I like, so I'm grateful that yelp helped me find this five star place! I just moved down the street and came here for the first time. Honestly one of the worst manicures I have ever gotten. The entire time was rushed through. They did not fix my cuticles or do anything to "manicure" my nails - just a mild file job (which was uneven) and then automatically started putting the dip powder on it. The dip powder was not filed well at all and it looks like all of my nails are giant and look horrible. I would not recommend this place as I feel like I need to go get my nails completely redone elsewhere. read more

I'm a first-time customer. I'm in the area for the weekend and decided to treat myself to a manicure and pedicure. They greeted me when I came in the door. There were only two technicians working. Yes, they were busy, so the service was kinda rushed. But my feet look better. My issue is sanitation. I warn everyone to pay attention. They are not disinfecting areas after each client. After my pedicure, she used the towel under my clean feet to wipe the area down. I didn't see any spray bottles, etc. After my manicure, she used the towel she wiped my hands with to wipe the table. Hanna is amazing! She does careful work and is able to free hand any design you would want. If you show her a picture she works hard to get your nails as close to the photo as possible. Ok so I didn't not like the salon. The service was phenomenal and Ben did a really good job doing my pedicure. I walked in on a Saturday midday and there wasn't a wait!! I was pretty excited about that. The have a ton of polish colors consisting of brands such as DND, Kiara Sky, and OPI. They even do ombré and SNS. The only downside that I noticed was that they have a ton of OPI gel colors but they don't have Alpine Snow, which is my fav. Overall I enjoyed my experience here! read more

I can't rave enough about Classy Nails and Spa in Lombard! I've been going here for close to a year after a disappointing run with multiple other nail salons. I luckily happened upon Classy Nails (conveniently located next to Potbelly's) and have been extremely satisfied. Customer service and attention to detail is my priority and this salon has it in aces! Everyone working in the salon excels in their abilities (I've gone to most of them) but Ben is my technician of choice. I've never been anything but "wowed" by his work and his attention to pleasing me as a customer as well as attention to detail. The salon is beautifully designed and extremely clean. The equipment is top quality and well maintained. I'm a regular for spa pedicures as well as acrylic nails with No-Chip for both and am very critical when it comes to hygiene and safely. Just moved to the area and checked out this place for a pedicure since it received good reviews on here. Walked in they were able to take me right away, one of the employees told me to pick a color on the wall. I understand they want to set a relaxing ambiance for the nail salon, but it's hard to pick a color when you only have a spotlight shining down on it. I played it safe and picked my usual pastel pink color and noticed the top shelf of OPI w/ the silver tops were $5 extra. The water was nice a temperature and the nail tech was polite. When she scrubbed the heels of my feet, I thought she was quick with that & I was right because after getting home to really look at my pedicure, it was semi rough. I also wondered how she was going to paint my nails since it was still semi dark where we were sitting. Luckily she turned on a brighter light to do so & painted them. I checked my paint job on toes and noticed they were unevenly painted on some. Paying $38 for their second level pedicure, I wouldn't be returning with a streaky paint job & rough heels. read more

I've been here twice and the first time (last year) it was a pretty good experience. Decided to give it another try and it was a totally different experience. I won't be coming back. Was meeting a friend so we could catch up and get our nails done. I arrived about a minute before her and the gentleman at the front desk was pushing me to get started before she arrived. I indicated that I wanted to wait and they said they weren't sure they could accommodate us if I wanted to wait (and this was 2 hours before closing). They made me feel very unwelcome. Luckily my friend arrived quickly after they rushed me to the back. The man was rough with the scrubber thing on the side of my foot, it went up on to the gentle skin on the top of my foot and I left with a big scrape. I also noticed when I got home that he did not trim my toenails or ask so I was left with two nails a little longer than I would have liked. It felt rushed and did not see any difference in upgrading to the classic other than the heated neck pillow. For my nails, they switched me to someone else and they told my friend and I that we couldn't sit together. They moved us to opposite ends of the room. Then my friend got moved to another person mid-manicure. My no chip manicure turned out perfectly. She did a nice job. They have started doing a very quick shoulder massage after the manicure. I didn't know it was coming since I'd been there before and they did not do it before. If I had known, I might have moved my hair out of the way. At first I thought it was kind of nice, then she started hitting me rather hard as part of her "massage". Honestly, it felt like someone was taking out their aggression after a bad day rather than a massage. It was $85 dollars, yes $85 before tip for my classic pedicure and no chip manicure. They have a spot on their website where it says you can text for a coupon, but they don't respond, so don't expect to get one. read more

Made a last minute random decision to come to this salon and I'm so glad I did! I don't live in Lombard (my boyfriend does), so this not my usual place. However, after this trip, it might have to become my main nail spot! I noticed the window decals outside the main door that stated "no children unless being serviced". I have no kids, so that's no issue for me at all, and there's nothing worse than misbehaved kids climbing on chairs or running around a salon. Upon walking in I could immediately see why they have that sign.The vibe is SO relaxing. It reminds me of a spa! Dim lighting, gorgeous decor, and just had a very calm vibe to it. The pedicure area has the nicest massage chairs I've been in and they get pretty detailed. At one point it started massaging my butt which scared the hell out of me at first...ha! They also use plastic liners in the pedi tubs, which is super sanitary. When they do the massaging and "cleaning", they dim the lights down so it's super relaxing. Once they start painting, they turn the lights a little brighter so they can see what they're doing. The leg massage and kneading was fabulous, the heated oatmeal(?) stuffed airplane-like pillow they give you is so relaxing and I swear I was so close to falling asleep. Most importantly, my no-chip pedi looks great! All in all, they were super professional, nice, and this was probably one of the nicest local salons I've ever been to. DO NOT GO HERE!!! NANCY will ruin your nails!!! Do a BAD Job and blame someone else! I went in to get my nails filled that I had previously gotten done at another salon. NANCY refilled and polished them. She had to remove the ones that were previously done. She just popped them off. It was very painful. She did an ok job putting new ones on and polishing them. $70!!! Gave them another try a few weeks later, again with NANCY. She filled them and did a No Chip polish without asking if I wanted no chip. I thought I was going to pay $25 but she charged me $50 the 2nd time for a fill and French. I could see the damage NANCY had done the first time through the clear polish and I could also see the old polish that wasn't removed all the way. I called and spoke to TIFFANY and she said to come on in and they would fix it. She also said they always ask if you want a No Chip. I said they didn't ask and she said "we always ask" When going in to have them fix it they wanted to charge me $25 to remove the no chip and put a new color on even though they were redoing it because it looked bad. I was talking to NANCY again. I asked to talk to TIFFANY because NANCY just kept saying the nail was beautiful and there was nothing wrong with it. NANCY said TIFFANY wasn't here. Low and behold TIFFANY had to come up and talk for NANCY. So YES, NANCY you lied! TIFFANY basically was calling me a liar saying Nancy told me I would see a pink line because the polish is clear. No one said my nail would show a pink line, old nail polish, or asked for me to upgrade to a no chip. I believe in providing good customer service. I work in the service industry and would NEVER talk to or treat a customer so poorly. Fixing a mistake and keeping a client happy is much better then a bad review and losing clients. DO NOT GO HERE! Horrible experience!!! I'm used to getting my nails constantly and I know how pricey they can be and how everything usually goes. But my nail technician was being really rough with me and ended up leaving me with cuts, also I had a drop of black nail polish on my thumb from the previous night and instead of cleaning the nail up she just said "oh" and just put the acrylic on top so the nail ended up being that nude pink w black surrounding the nail bed. Also I had just gotten plain acrylic as you can see, it was supposed to be a no chip and they started chipping on day 2. This ordinary set that everyone thought Should've costed $45 was set at $75, and when I was paying my nail technician hovered and was super pushy for a tip. Also they broke off in a week and when I went to a different salon to get them removed they were glued on to my actual skin, removal was super painful even though I did a soak off because of how glued they were, the skin around my nails was in horrible shape! My friend also got a full set with them at the same time, the second she left the salon she was shaping them herself because she hated how they shaped them. I waited to make a review until my second trip here. I had a great first experience at which I got a mani, pedi & eyebrows wax. The pedicure area was very relaxing and clean! They use the bags in the foot tub which I love because germs! I got the dip powder on my natural nails and was happy with the results both times. Only complaint is that they were a little pushy about paying cash. The first time I paid with a card, the second I paid with cash. I got a $2 off coupon for my next visit, which isn't really worth it considering I give more than that in a tip & I spent over $80.
