    8oz Strip Steak
    Jeny K.

The cutest and coziest place for dinner. Definitely a good date spot! Service was good, but food did take rather long to arrive. I'd recommend the persimmon & burrata crostini. If you're getting the strip steak, definitely get the au poivre, we ended up ordering that shortly after!

Cute French restaurant, right Near Washington Square Park. Has both indoor and outdoor seating but no heat lamps outdoors (right outside the restaurant) they do have outdoor seating in the street that is covered. Loved the decor, which was cute chic and great for date night, dinner with friends. Not the best for large groups given its seating unless you're sitting outside. Overall for the price, the food was inconsistent. We love some dishes, and we're not fond of others. Favorites: artichokes, artichokes, artichokes. It was delicious and well executed. We also ordered the steak which was cooked to a textbook medium rare. The au poivre was good but the steak was so perfectly seasoned and cooked it didn't add anything. Extensive drink menu which we enjoyed. Not so favorites: baguette was good, but not for $8. the lamb brochettes and amberjack Crudo were a miss. Crudo was missing salt and the fish didn't taste fresh. Overall we spent over $100 for a meal that had more bad dishes than good dishes.

The Mediterranean decor is the biggest draw to this restaurant. It is soothingly light and airy. Service is friendly and the food is good enough. Appropriate for a business or leisurely lunch.

Love this restaurant! Have been twice for dinner - sat outside the first time and inside the second, both are equally as great (outdoor seating closes later than indoor). The staff are super friendly and fun. Cheery, French vibes by Carlos Suarez. The Provençal-themed restaurant offers a Mediterranean-themed menu (seasonal/rotating) focuses on local products, seafood, and North American aromatics. They recently added mocktails to their menu and I highly recommend the Pom Pommes! FUN FACT - Claudette is named after Claudette Sammut, the mother of Guy Sammut. A french restaurateur, Guy owns beautiful restaurants in Lourmarin, France where Carlos drew the inspiration for the name of his NYC restaurant!

I thought Claudette was fine!! It definitely wasn't life changing for the price. I'd probably only go back if someone else suggested it. I enjoyed the food - I thought it was flavorful! It was kind of salty though. The truffle hummus was good, but I would've liked a flatter bowl for it. The fish was great, but it didn't seem worth the price for the portion. Same thing for the artichokes. The service was nice, but I feel like it could've been a little smoother considering the price. I also liked the ambiance! The restaurant is cute. And they have candles on the tables. I enjoyed the space overall.

Stopped by for a Sunday brunch and was not disappointed! Highly recommend to impress your date or parents. Nomz: I had the avocado toast with a side of bacon. The avocado toast was smaller than your average and the avocado was sliced not smashed so it took more effort to control and eat. However, every bite was absolutely delicious, very flavorful and well seasoned. I split the French toast with my friend and it was fantastic, not overly sweet where you get tired of it. The bread was fluffy and perfect and the toppings super fresh. Drinks: Had a carafe of rose spritz and mama mia was it good!! And it was only $20, such a steal. Service: Very good service, waiter was super nice and other people also checked in on us throughout. Ambiance: Super cute place inside, nicely decorated and lovely bar. Nope or Dope: Dope, it's pricey but I loved everything I ate and the vibes of the place. Good splurge for when the parents are in town.

We had a res the Friday after Thanksgiving. It was very cute! We started with the artichokes (delicious) and also had some olives. The chicken sasso was a highlight. And the branzino and burger were both good. But the fries were also the real star -- crispy and soft. Our server was very kind as well! Highly recommend!

Neighborhood restaurant. Honestly I thought the brunch menu was so boring and unsure what to order for like 20 minutes. But everything came out pretty good. All on the lighter healthier side yet still have flavor. Eggs Benedict, Mushroom Omelette, Scramble Eggs were all good. The special Croque Monsier was bland and dry.

This spot has been on my list and finally got to come by for brunch! Got a cocktail and rose spritz carafe to sip on while we got the truffle hummus to start. We got the shakshuka and garden nicoise w/ crispy salmon for mains. Ended the meal with a coffee / latte and the salted caramel cake. Thank you for preparing a candle on the cake (we were here to celebrate a belated birthday). Will definitely be coming again to check out the dinner menu!

After a somewhat hellish day, my mom found this oasis. Started with a lovely rosé and had mushroom omelette and Croque, Monsieur or Croque madame. Heck, I don't really know what I ate, but it was delightful. We ended with this luscious caramel concoction for dessert, which was divine. Service was wonderful and attentive, and ambience and decor were sublime. We genuinely felt so at home here and was honestly the perfect ending to our day.

Great Restaurant Week deal here! $45 for an appetizer, entree, and dessert. Got the tagliatelle as my entree, which was a little creamy but not overly so, the perfect amount. Portion was a little small but I guess for the price makes sense. Super cute and cozy ambiance, would come back!

The lobster is a little chewy, but the spicy claws were very flavorful. All of the crab had so much meat and the seasonings were all amazing. Surprisingly, the iron steak was one of our favorites despite this being a seafood spot. The waiter did say to just check mark the paper instead of quantities, but they end up bringing you 2 of everything you order. The sweet & spicy fish is also very solid, garlic noodles were buttery, and even their iced tea was super refreshing. Could not recommend this place more!! This is exactly the kind of place that works well when you need something fast but still high quality. Service stood out. Jeanine was excellent; she quickly understood our time constraint, guided us to the right dishes, and kept everything moving without making it feel rushed. The atmosphere was lively and full; the place was packed, but it still felt organized rather than chaotic. The bar looked well stocked, and the overall ambience worked well for a pre-train, Times Square-adjacent stop. Food was solid, with a few standouts. The salmon tartare with sesame crackers was excellent; clean, fresh, and well balanced. Jeanine recommended the shrimp avocado sliders, and that was the right call; they were outstanding. Happy hour oysters were fresh and well balanced. Littleneck clams were good, though slightly less compelling than the oysters. The fish tacos were good but not particularly memorable. Fried calamari was well executed, though the accompanying sauce could have used a little more flavor. The hot sauce, assuming it is made in house, was excellent and added a much better punch to the seafood. Drinks from the happy hour menu, including the Pink Flamingo and margarita, were good and consistent. I would come back to try more from the main menu. If you like seafood, this is a strong option for the price point and location, especially during happy hour.

All guests at the table have to order either buffet or Prix Fix menu. My order of Rockefeller oysters, and clams were simply the best I ever tasted. The way they were prepared is the only way I want to taste them. The next dishes they brought out were fried shrimp, sizzling shrimp scampi. Soft shell crab was cooked to perfection. My garlic butter Nova Scotia Lobster was divine. Cooked, and served to perfection! Next the sizzling sea bass was brought to the table! O-M-G! Within a second after arriving to our table still sizzling. Jose came to personally debone the fish (never had that done before) and he added the Thai chili sauce. At this point, my body was in a foodie coma! After a brief clean up of our table. I left our dining room, and went to the ladies room. When you walk in the ladies room, between the floral scent, and decor you are in awe of the details, the bathroom was dreamy. Back at the table our two servers set up a Picasso style dessert with hand drawn chocolate with the ice cream and a delicious cheesecake. Thank you for the birthday wishes, and celebration for my friend. José out did his self with his talented art skills. Special thanks to the Manager Sam for stopping by every table to see if everything was to our satisfaction. It was beyond our satisfaction. Tip: Make reservations even if your a party of two. Be sure all guests arrive at the same time. Tip#2: The upstairs level is perfect for large gatherings, corporate events, holiday events, bridal, baby showers, bar/bat mitvah's, and industry events.
