    Chicken Parmesan

I can never get enough of Claudiana Italian Restaurant! I've been a regular here for a few years now, and I have to say it gets better every visit! When you walk through the door, you immediately feel welcome. The owners are always present and might even come up to your table to introduce themselves. The kitchen is extremely accommodating, offering gluten free options and any substitutes that we request. I highly recommend starting with a bowl of the wedding soup. In this soup, you will find spinach, meatballs, pieces of shredded chicken, and acini di pepe pasta. This soup is always a great way to the start meal. It will likely come out steaming hot, so be prepared to wait a few minutes while it cools. In the meantime, you can snack on some bread that will arrive at your table around the same time. Once you've finished your soup and bread basket, it's time for the mean course. My go-to is the chicken parmesan. Their homemade pasta is my highlight every time and it goes perfectly with their marinara sauce. The chicken is always cooked to perfection and covered in the marinara sauce. Parmesan cheese is sprinkled onto the chicken and it truly is the last piece of the puzzle. I'm not the biggest fan of cheese, yet I thoroughly enjoy the small topping they add. While I've had the pleasure to try most things on menu, the chicken parmesan and wedding soup really strand out to me. Other favorites include the gnocchi, chicken marsala, rigatoni bolognese, chicken caprese, and shrimp and sausage arrabbiata. Claudiana's is great for a special night out or a casual dinner. They have a back room that can accommodate occasions like graduations and rehearsal dinners. If it's not in use for a party, it operates as a second dining area. The food is absolutely incredible so you will not be disappointed- it's my favorite Italian restaurant in Columbus!

Chicken Piccata - not my best photo, but it was delicious!

Was looking for a more intimate Italian place in the Polaris area and stumbled upon this gem! Very unsuspecting location with a nice ambiance, great service and excellent food :) Wine selection was really solid, they make their own 'Cellos which I highly recommend, and the Chicken Piccata was perfect. I will be back!

Tucked away in a shopping center near Polaris Mall, this place is excellent. Step inside and you're no longer in a strip mall, you are transported to a stylish Italian restaurant that could be in any downtown trendy restaurant area. The hostess was welcoming and friendly, be sure to make a reservation in advance as it was a bit crowded but not overly noisy. Our waiter, Jack, was prompt and helpful though we never heard the daily specials. The noodles are homemade and delicious. I would have preferred a bit more spice to the spaghetti and meatballs but I probably should have just asked for some red peppers flakes; so that's on me. The shrimp scampi was creamy and delivered a fresh flavor but maybe a bit too much on the capers. Fresh Parmesan cheese was a nice touch. The bread was delish but we had to ask for it. Pizza was solid. Crispy crust, good flavors. Bruschetta was a nice starter.

Classical elegance, multiple attendees, and calm environment. Very well rounded menu offered something for everyone and all in our large party raved over all four courses. Glasses were never empty and all food was delivered timely despite the variety of orders.

Great service, quick and attentive. Delicious food! Prices were average for a better restaurant. Ambiance was low noise, nice atmosphere.

Nice place, but pricey for pasta and tomato sauce in a strip mall. The food was decent.

We arrived fairly close to closing, which can sometimes be risky--some restaurants start cutting corners as the night winds down. Not here. Everything was incredibly fresh, and each bite took our palates on a culinary adventure that had us feeling like champions for choosing Brassica for dinner. The ingredients, flavors, and execution were all outstanding. If you haven't been here yet, do yourself a favor and go. Brassica continues to prove why it's one of our favorite places to eat whenever we're in town.

I started with the Cauliflower Tahini Soup, followed by a build-your-own salad bowl, a Chocolate Chip Cookie, and a Minty Pink Lemonade. The soup had a rich, creamy texture, though I found it a little too salty for my taste. Not knowing exactly what to expect, I loaded up my salad bowl with lentils and rice, mixed greens, hummus, baba ghanoush, crispy onions, pita bread, chicken shawarma, brisket, sweet beets, pickled cucumbers, pickled radish, pickled cabbage, cauliflower tabbouleh, marinated eggplant, and finished it with Brassica's roasted garlic sauce and tahini. Every bite was fresh, flavorful, and full of contrasting textures. The combination of crisp vegetables, savory proteins, and creamy spreads made for a hearty, satisfying meal that kept me full long after lunch. The Chocolate Chip Cookie was exactly how I like it--crispy around the edges with a slightly well-done finish and plenty of chocolate in every bite. To wash it all down, the Minty Pink Lemonade was the perfect balance of sweet, tart, and refreshing, complementing the bold Mediterranean flavors beautifully. Overall, Brassica is a great option for a quick, customizable meal made with fresh ingredients. While the soup wasn't my favorite, I'd happily return to build another salad and try more items from the menu.

There is room to sit down and eat but I took mine to go. The two women I interacted with were great! Cordial, helpful and friendly. I received my meal very quickly! Where to begin...the fries, that I tried before I started the car to head home, were hot and perfectly cooked. Soft in the inside, perfect crunch on the outside. When I got them home, they were still crispy!! The gyro is huge! Should I eat the whole thing? No. Will I eat the whole thing? Likely. The seasoning on the chicken reminds me of the lamb I usually get with that same soft yet seared meat. The sauce is just wow! The baklava is 3 pieces in one, can't go wrong for $5.50. Tender, sweet, and delicious!

Generous portions for the King and just the right amount of onion. Some places go too strong with the onion. The standout was the sauce! Just had a nice garlicky zing to it. The fresh cut fries were a little greasy but still good. The sleeper was that Greek Custard tho. When you walk in you have a case of temptations staring at you. The custard got my attention. Cold and dense custard wrapped in filo dough then topped with cinnamon and honey drizzle. Dang. This thing played with my emotions. Just so good and sticky. I would make a trip here just for this. It all came to about $22 with a can of Diet Coke and it hit the spot. The gyro was in the top 3 I've ever had, the fries I didn't really care for, the dessert selection I would make a special trip for. Solid 4 Stars
