Lemon sole - no sauce , vegetables. Rice and pita
    Myra W.

My go to is the Lemon Sole which comes with pita, very flavorful rice and vegetables. Not a sauce person so I do not get the lemon butter sauce. I know - lemon sole without lemon sauce ! The last 3 times I have ordered it the fish has been served hot but everything else room temperature. I like my food steaming hot. There's nothing better than warm pita and nothing grosser than cold rice.I think what they do is plate everything while they are cooking the fish. After serving , no one ever comes to check.one time I did take my plate up to the front and request heated up. The service and food isn't as good as it used to be. I stopped ordering the gyro because the meat itself wasn't tasting good .

Here is the only warning I have, There is your life before The Mad Greek and there is your life after the Mad Greek. I are here with my son earlier this year (I don't live in Columbus but my son does) and I have been daydreaming about their gyro for months! Seriously, the most amazing tasting gyro I have ever had in my life. The lamb is tender and juicy, well seasoned, and cooked to perfection. All of the toppings extremely fresh! It is a must place visit if you are in the Columbus area. There is amble seating inside and there is also a little area that feels outdoors but is indoors. The service was great. I didn't have room for baklava because the gyro was so big but next time I will definitely leave room for it. Looking forward to my next visit here you should definitely come and try it out!

I cannot wait to come back and try more from the menu!! My chicken was so hot and juicy. I loved the portion size of the salad and I had enough taziki sauce to put on everything. The staff was very friendly and quick to prep my meal. There was also so many desserts that looked delicious.

    | My go-to Mediterranean spot in Columbus! Mad Greek has truly become a staple for me, my friends, and my family. From the moment you walk in, you're greeted with warmth--especially by the two amazing women at the counter who always offer a friendly welcome and great service. I love it so much that after earning my Master's degree earlier this year, I chose to celebrate there with friends and family. That should say it all! Don't be intimidated by the large menu--everything is made fresh and cooked with love. It's one of those rare places where you could close your eyes and point to anything and it'll be delicious. Just yesterday, I visited twice in one day. First, I stopped in to grab a to-go order for a family member and ordered a large fry for myself (highly recommend--they're hot, crispy, and topped with the most addicting seasoning). But once I saw how good their takeout looked, I immediately got hungry again and went right back for round two. I ordered three Blackened Snapper plates, which come with perfectly grilled snapper filet, spicy sauce, mixed veggies, rice pilaf, and pita bread. One word: AMAZING. Their desserts are homemade and absolutely worth saving room for (if you can!). Bonus points: They have a fully stocked bar An assortment of bottled drinks near the register A drive-up window for pre-placed orders They always include utensils and condiments with to-go orders--no need to ask! They're usually busy (which speaks to their popularity), but the staff works fast and keeps food fresh and hot. [[HIGHLIGHT]]This spot truly feels like you're walking into someone's home and being fed a home-cooked meal made with care.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Forever grateful for this gem!

    They close at 8:30 now!

Service has not been great since the 2 ladies have not worked and it has been months. Ive been calling since 8:30 and received no answer. They need to update their site and sign on the door to say they close at 8:30 now. I and another customer walked away saying the same thing. Maybe they will do better and get better soon!! It's just not the same!!

Great place for greek... This place is kind of an Eastside legend. It has not changed in forever but [[HIGHLIGHT]]it has great food, a nostalgic vibe (both inside and outside), and good service.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I had a Gyro, with frys, and a salad. Wifie had the chicken kabobs which she loved. It was a great experience and worth the trip.

What a pleasant surprise. I was in the mood for calamari and srooped in. So many different options. I ate there and had the calamari Greek salad and a side of lemon potatoes. Everything was fresh and delicious. The salad was huge and the lemon Preparation for the potatoes was unexpected and delightful. Though I asked for a to go container, I left nothing to take. The time to table was fast I would like to return and try something else.

I had pretty high hopes for Mad Greek after reading some reviews. The menu is huge, almost daunting at first. But luckily, they have the typical favorites listed at the beginning. I ordered the #1, a small gyro with fries. Admittedly, I was unsure how 'small' the small gyro would be, but figured if it was #1 on the menu it's probably pretty popular so went with it anyway. It was ready in just under 10 minutes, and the employee at the front checked in on me as I waited which was nice. I ordered it to-go, and when I opened it up later I quickly realized that the 'small' was indeed pretty small (could basically fit in the palm of my hand). Wishing I had gotten the regular size, I began eating away. There were quite a few banana peppers that over-powered the flavor, so I wished I would've gotten it without those. Ironically, they gave a huge portion of fries that definitely had plenty of seasoning. They reminded me of Five Guy fries in that they seemed fresh cut but lacked that true crunch. Overall, my experience at Mad Greeks was about average and I take part of the blame for ordering the small gyro. I don't think I would go out of my way to get it again, but if I'm in the area I would consider it.

I expected Greek food but what but it had a very limited Greek menu. It was more of a Mediterranean theme.

We arrived fairly close to closing, which can sometimes be risky--some restaurants start cutting corners as the night winds down. Not here. Everything was incredibly fresh, and each bite took our palates on a culinary adventure that had us feeling like champions for choosing Brassica for dinner. The ingredients, flavors, and execution were all outstanding. If you haven't been here yet, do yourself a favor and go. Brassica continues to prove why it's one of our favorite places to eat whenever we're in town.

I started with the Cauliflower Tahini Soup, followed by a build-your-own salad bowl, a Chocolate Chip Cookie, and a Minty Pink Lemonade. The soup had a rich, creamy texture, though I found it a little too salty for my taste. Not knowing exactly what to expect, I loaded up my salad bowl with lentils and rice, mixed greens, hummus, baba ghanoush, crispy onions, pita bread, chicken shawarma, brisket, sweet beets, pickled cucumbers, pickled radish, pickled cabbage, cauliflower tabbouleh, marinated eggplant, and finished it with Brassica's roasted garlic sauce and tahini. Every bite was fresh, flavorful, and full of contrasting textures. The combination of crisp vegetables, savory proteins, and creamy spreads made for a hearty, satisfying meal that kept me full long after lunch. The Chocolate Chip Cookie was exactly how I like it--crispy around the edges with a slightly well-done finish and plenty of chocolate in every bite. To wash it all down, the Minty Pink Lemonade was the perfect balance of sweet, tart, and refreshing, complementing the bold Mediterranean flavors beautifully. Overall, Brassica is a great option for a quick, customizable meal made with fresh ingredients. While the soup wasn't my favorite, I'd happily return to build another salad and try more items from the menu.

There is room to sit down and eat but I took mine to go. The two women I interacted with were great! Cordial, helpful and friendly. I received my meal very quickly! Where to begin...the fries, that I tried before I started the car to head home, were hot and perfectly cooked. Soft in the inside, perfect crunch on the outside. When I got them home, they were still crispy!! The gyro is huge! Should I eat the whole thing? No. Will I eat the whole thing? Likely. The seasoning on the chicken reminds me of the lamb I usually get with that same soft yet seared meat. The sauce is just wow! The baklava is 3 pieces in one, can't go wrong for $5.50. Tender, sweet, and delicious!

Generous portions for the King and just the right amount of onion. Some places go too strong with the onion. The standout was the sauce! Just had a nice garlicky zing to it. The fresh cut fries were a little greasy but still good. The sleeper was that Greek Custard tho. When you walk in you have a case of temptations staring at you. The custard got my attention. Cold and dense custard wrapped in filo dough then topped with cinnamon and honey drizzle. Dang. This thing played with my emotions. Just so good and sticky. I would make a trip here just for this. It all came to about $22 with a can of Diet Coke and it hit the spot. The gyro was in the top 3 I've ever had, the fries I didn't really care for, the dessert selection I would make a special trip for. Solid 4 Stars
