Claudia's Jewelry store was literally God sent. I found them online while trying to find a jewelry store that can repair a broken Luna for my boss. I could not find one nearby up for the challenge until i found this Jewelry store. Not only did they fix the broken glass but they went way and beyond and left this piece looking like brand new. In addition to this. I brought 2 broken anklets to them to see if they could be repaired and i wasn't sure if they were sterling silver. (One was and one wasn't) They fixed both while i waited and cleaned them too. Leaving my anklets looking so shiny. Their customer service is amazing. I will definitely keep them in mind for any future jewelry needs. They are a bit far from me but so worth the trip. The jewelry they sell, just beautiful. I love this place. They carry the entire Seiko line, including Astron as well as the automatics that enthusiasts love (they had multiple Monsters and SKX's on the floor). The employees are service-oriented and kind. Furthermore they speak English (a big plus for this neighborhood). This is the only authorized Seiko dealer on the South Side, and many people do not realize that watches bought online often have a "dealer warranty" instead of a Seiko warranty, so your warranty service is only as good as your dealers honor. Needless to say, I would strongly recommend buying your Seiko at Claudia's over some random seller on Amazon or Ebay. The only downside is the scummy neighborhood. I strongly recommend Claudia's for their customer service and Seiko product line (they have Movado's and other jewelry-store-type brands as well, not to mention G-Shock). If you are into Seiko and like having a local shop that can re-size bracelets, polish old cases or service your watch, then why go downtown when you have a quality store like this so close to Bridgeport, Canaryville, Hyde Park and the South Loop. I came in here to get a gift in my budget was about 1100, I walk in and tell my sales rep exactly what I'm looking for 14k men's gold chains so she showed me a couple and I picked one and was doing layaway. I put a down payment down and left for the day then when I went home I realized the receipt said 10K So I called them however they told me I had to come in. So I went in and the sales rep told her manager the situation and the manager said she couldn't do anything even though I just bought it and the sales rep admitted she told me it was 14K by mistake. She didn't want to give me my money back because she wanted me to spend the rest of my money there. Since it would be hard for me to take care of the issue during the week, I saw that Claudia's had Sunday hours. They knew exactly what the problem was and took care of it immediately. They have a nice selection of watches and I ended up buying a beautiful watch for my husband at an extremely reasonable price. If you own a Citizen watch, they are an authorized retailer.
