Typical waterfront marina setting with nautical vibes. Nothing fancy. Very casual and family friendly. The food we ordered (burger for kids, clam chowder bowl, and lobster roll with fries) were all delicious. Loved the wedge fries and the CT lobster roll was legit! In terms of service, the place wasn't busy when we arrived around 5:15pm and our entrees didn't come out until about 6:20pm! Loooooong wait but supposedly a staff member had just left...dog friendly is a plus!

Nice location - large and on the water. Service was great, very quick. Food portion sizes were extremely large. Both Cesar salad and nachos were huge. Went with friends and couple cocktails ( smaller size for espresso). Enjoyed other dishes such as lobster roll and fries. Overall good and recommend

Had an IG push for Captain Claudio's Bloody Mary which is a pitcher of Bloody Mary with a lobster, shrimp and bacon in it so we HAD to do it with our friends. It did not disappoint and just seeing it before drinking/eating it was a great experience. We enjoyed the bloody with a side of mimosas and then a bunch of food. The food (chicken wrap, Mahi tacos, chicken fingers and pasta with the last two being for the kids) was pretty good. You're truly coming to this place for the scenery and some drinks. Easy to bring kids and enjoy a convo with friends. Our waitress was wonderful and kind getting the kids orders in first, finding some coloring sheets and crayons and dealing with our party of 8. We had a lot of fun and left fill and tipsy!

The appetizer food and service was great for lunch service. Olivia was attentive to our needs and very friendly.

Almost anything open-air and by the sea will get thumbs up from me. Claudio's is such a place situated in a cute village on the far north fork of Long Island. A summertime excursion is making a day of visiting the town of Greenport, where Claudio's is located and shopping is abundant. Oftentimes, we take the ferries from Sag Harbor. On the return trip, we have the ferry option and/or driving through the towns to our final destination. Since Claudio's is usually busy, I made a reservation prior to shopping. I asked if Steamers were available. The hostess confirmed they were. Twenty-five minutes later, seated at a table looking out at the dock and sea, I asked the waitress about if Steamers were available. Her reply, "As of this morning, no they are not." Although we enjoyed the scenery, good service, our seafood wraps, tacos and French fries, I remained disappointed.

Oysters on half shell were excellent. 1 probably 4 ounce glasses of wine was $30. Almost twice cost of oysters. Next time I'll get water.

Why have I been walking past Alpina everytime I'm in Greenport?…read more Was it the dark atmosphere? Did I think I was getting just another American-German influenced restaurant with only brats and potato pancakes? Did I expect polka? The experience was actually slow and refined, without the white tablecloths. Alpina has German, Swiss, and slightly Northern Italian influenced cuisine, along with a selection of alcohols I was completely unfamiliar with... which made the experience feel full of new things. The most memorable food was actually one of the simplest. The chef prepared incredibly creamy, caramelized onions with a slight sauerkraut tang that was amazeballs. I told our waiter that I'd write him a love letter over it, and here I am! The pappardelle had shredded duck, cheese, and big, fun, chewy noodles that were satisfying to slurp. It just needed a dash of pepper to elevate it. The meat and cheese board included a few things I'd never tried before, and it was so good I was searching for a meat shop in Manhattan so we could buy them again. Portion sizes aren't huge for the price, but it was worth it to us. Don't be afraid of the dark entrance, the ligonberry on the menu, and ask the bartender about the connection between the giant copper gnome and penguin shaker gone rouge.

Don't let the outside of this place fool you because looks are definitely deceiving. We were cautious coming to this place due to the appearance of the outside, but once we were in it was so much fun. Agus, aka rawbartender, was Ah-mazing and truly made the night fun. He was truly such a vibe!! I ordered the SpongeBob, which was Goslings rum, pineapple spice, ginger, lime, angostura bitters. Especially with the show that was put on, my drink tasted even better. It was a Smokey, yet smooth and refreshing drink! We also got the Snow White, on the sweeter side made with Pear vodka, orgeat, pear juice, lemon juice, cinnamon. And of course, we can't forget our schooling in tequila and Mezcal from Agus. He was very informative of what he was serving and we tried a few different shots. He gave us the rundown of how you're actually supposed to taste tequila. And I have to say I've never had an experience like that before. I wish the party didn't stop and I will definitely be coming back specifically for Agus and of course the drinks!

Unfortunately, that wasn't possible during this visit because our waitress rarely checked on us, so I wanted to share our experience here. We made a reservation and weren't sure if it specified indoor or outdoor seating, so we called ahead. We were told that getting an upstairs outdoor table would be no problem. However, when we arrived, we were told our reservation was for inside seating only and that the wait for outside would be an additional 1 hour and 45 minutes. We really wanted to sit outside, but rather than make an issue of it, we decided to stay inside. Looking back, we probably should have left. The cocktails were underwhelming, especially considering the price. The highlights of the meal were the duck wings and calamari appetizers, which gave us high hopes for the entrees. Unfortunately, the entrees were a major disappointment. Two people ordered the halibut, and while we understand halibut is a delicate fish that can be difficult to prepare, the dish lacked flavor overall. The foam that came with it tasted horrible--almost soapy--and although the rice and eggplant were good, they weren't flavorful enough to complement the fish. I ordered the tuna burger and specifically requested it cooked medium because I didn't want it to be dry. Unfortunately, it arrived very dry, was falling apart, and lacked flavor. I ended up asking for a side of teriyaki sauce just to make it enjoyable- that didn't help at all and left half the sandwich in my plate. The tuna burger was supposed to come with sweet potato noodles, but they were out-which is not an issue for me, usually. The waitress asked if I'd like a substitute. None of the suggested sides appealed to me, so I asked if I could have the sweet potato purée instead since I saw it for the duck entree. Instead, I was initially served fries. I asked the person who served me, if I can get the puree, the server was confused but eventually understood. When the purée finally arrived, it was unfortunately inedible. The texture and taste reminded me of baby food, and even adding salt and pepper didn't help. I passed it around to the other folks at the table, all saying the same thing. What made the experience even more disappointing was the service. Our waitress never came back to check on our meals, so we never had the opportunity to share our concerns while we were dining. She spent much of the evening chatting with other staff members and seemed distracted with friends and kids running around near the lobster tank. When we finished, another server brought us the check, and no one asked how our meal was or if everything was satisfactory. Overall, this was a very disappointing experience, especially for the amount we spent. The restaurant itself is beautiful, clean, and has a great atmosphere, but unfortunately the food and service did not justify the price. We left wishing we had chosen somewhere else.
