Anyway, then a woman came who knows us because we are old customers -- my whole family has been coming here for years. But this time, one woman disappointed us a lot. She asked what nail shape I wanted, and I told her I wanted a round or square shape for my toenails, which meant I did not want my nails cut completely short. Later, when I looked, she had cut all my toenails very short. When I told her that I had already explained what I wanted, she told me to "shut up" and said, "Let me do my job." I stayed quiet and thought there was no point arguing anymore. Then my mother also got upset and asked why she had cut them all short when I had clearly explained beforehand what I wanted. After that, I got upset too and told her, "You spoke to me very rudely when I was calmly explaining the shape I wanted." She again replied rudely and said, "Do you want the service done or not?" She showed so much attitude toward me in front of everyone, and then she left me there without finishing the service. I really do not understand why she behaved with so much attitude. Doesn't a customer have the right to say what they want and do not want? This was the first time something like this happened. Another worker who was sitting nearby apologized. My mother asked her where that woman had gone and who would complete my service because I was still waiting. She said nobody else could do it because they were busy, and I would have to get it done somewhere else. She also apologized and said, "I don't know why she behaved like that with you." I told her it was not her fault, but that woman treated me very disrespectfully and rudely, even though I had politely explained that if she did not understand, she could have asked me again. I had somewhere to go, and in the end I did not even get the service the way I wanted.

I always get a gel manicure and regular pedicure. However, after my experience yesterday I will not be going back. I'm going to my daughter's bachelorette weekend in a few days, so I asked for a design on my nails to go with the theme. Sean, the owner and person who did my nails, told me there wasn't time for anyone to do that design, so I quickly pivoted and instead did a Mediterranean/lemon design for my daughters bridal shower next weekend. I paid $130 for the gel nails with a design and a regular pedicure. I left a $20 tip, so $150 was the total cost. I noticed that a few of my nails leaned a little to the side, but they were busy so I left. I then sat in my car and stewed for a few minutes, and finally went back in. When I pay $150 for a service, I want it to look good. Especially since I got my nails done for 2 upcoming special events. The salon was packed full with clients and workers, it was very busy for a Sunday afternoon. I walked up to Sean and politely asked him if there was anyone that had time then, or the next day after I was done working to fix my index fingernail (The worst offender) as it was leaning to the left. Without even looking up from the women's nails he was working on, he said, "That's not the nail that's crooked. It's your finger. I've noticed it before." I thought he was joking so I looked down at him more closely but he didn't even look up... he was dead serious. I said, " Ummm..... I have never noticed my finger to be crooked before?" He still said nothing , so I left. It was really embarrassing. I Felt humiliated. The whole salon had become silent so they could listen to our conversation. I have had rheumatoid arthritis for the past 25 years, so no, fingers are not perfect. I have joint damage which is one of the reasons I get my nails done so that my nails are at least pretty. But the nail was crooked, not my finger!!! I'm not sure if he was making fun of my arthritic fingers or he just didn't want to fix my nail or what? Frankly, I'm very baffled. A business owner refuses to fix an obvious mistake that he had just done five minutes before? And then he insulted me by telling me my finger is crooked. The pictures of the blue nails are what was done yesterday. The 2 sets of yellow were done in March and June. The red, lady big nails were done in May. Does my index finger look crooked to you?!?!? When I pay $150 for my nails for a special event in my life, I expect them to look great. I don't appreciate being gas lit and insulted.

She has earned my trust through her professionalism, attention to detail, and ability to consistently achieve the exact look I prefer. Because my nails grow quickly, regular maintenance is important, and Yvonne has always provided exceptional service. She is also the only nail technician I trust with my pedicures. After a previous technician damaged my toenails and caused painful ingrown toenails, I became very cautious about who I allowed to perform nail services. Yvonne has always been careful, knowledgeable, and attentive, giving me complete confidence in her work.

Had that been clearer, I would have chosen the $40 spa package with the $15 gel upgrade for a $55 total instead. I also had to ask for the chair massager to be turned on, and the remote didn't work. The massage was uncomfortable, so I asked her to turn it off. Unfortunately, the roller was left positioned/engaged in my back, so I then sat through the rest of the pedicure with it pressing into me. The pedicure itself was uncomfortable as well. The massage on my lower legs and shins used far too much pressure and was actually painful rather than relaxing. I chose a classic pink-and-white French pedicure, and the finished result was the biggest disappointment. The white tips were not aligned or consistent from nail to nail, so they don't match and look poorly finished. Needless to say, I now have to get them all redone before my son's wedding, which is incredibly frustrating after paying $70 for a pedicure. Unfortunately, this was neither the relaxing experience nor the quality I expected, and I would not return.

I seen the good reviews and excellent designs on Yelp for this shop so I was hopefully since the last 2 places I went to I was highly disappointed. I think I found my new nail salon! The salon is beautifully decorated. Very well stocked in so many polish colors. Very bright space with whites and greys, classy setup. When I walked in I was greeted right away. Everyone that worked there if I made I eye contact with them they smiled and said hello. I made my appt a couple weeks prior and I was immediately seated at her station. She introduced herself and right away I knew it would be a good session because she asked how I liked my nails shaped, the length, and design/color. She took her time and continued to ask along the way if I liked the work, which I appreciate because it was my first time there. I had 2 photos of nail designs I asked her to combine for my final look and she nailed it! She even took the time to reshape my nails because the last shop I did not like how thick they were. So I'm really thankful she was so patient. I am looking forward to my next appt!
