pedicure was fine but i'm afraid they are not clear on their prices. i called to ask how much for a GEL pedicure and the man quoted me $55. that's fine, but when time came to pay i was charged $70 and when i asked about it they said the gel was an extra $20. i tapped my card to pay but i really should have stood my ground. $70 for a solid color pedicure with no designs or gems is crazy. upon checking their booking website it even says $55 for their "Gel Spa Pedicures". don't make the same mistake i did and make sure you let them know if they overcharge you! read more

I used to come here all the time, but I'm trying out other places. The pedicures are usually pretty amazing and worth it. However, every time I get my nails done, the quality is never great and they start lifting and almost every single time I get overcharged. I somehow pay more for a fill at this salon than a full set at others. Staff and owners are nice. Always remember who you are if you come in frequently. They offer drinks which is also very nice and have a great selection of pedicure scents. Still love this spa and will come back for pedicures, but I i'm done getting my nails done here after being overcharged three times in a row. read more

I am not the kind of person to leave a review but this experience was scarring for me. I walked in for a pedicure and was seated right away, which was a good start. However, the experience quickly went downhill. After choosing a polish color, I was told "no" because it was "too light" and supposedly wouldn't work. As a paying client, I know what I'm asking for, and instead of offering solutions or alternatives, I was simply dismissed. If the color truly required adjustments, they could have suggested layering it or using a base to make it work. It was frustrating to be shut down without any effort to accommodate my request. To make matters worse, another technician nearby inserted herself into the situation with an uninvited, condescending comment about my choice, saying how I must "really like" that color, followed by laughter. Both employees then began speaking in their native language, pointing at my toes, and laughing, which felt incredibly unprofessional and disrespectful; especially after I decided to skip polish altogether. I work in a customer facing role with strict guidelines on nail colors, so I specifically asked for something subtle and appropriate. This salon used to be my go to years ago, but I stopped coming in 2021 after a negative experience. Unfortunately, returning now--years later, only confirmed that the level of service has not improved. On top of the poor service, the pricing is excessive--$85 before tip for a pedicure with a single acrylic toe repair is unreasonable. I will not be returning. I'd recommend saving your time and money and choosing a different salon in Vegas. read more

Ok, I been here a couple a times before and the service is good and the people are nice but today I feel like I got taken advantage of. They charged me $95 for my 3 yr old gel mani and pedi. My husband and I have taken her to other places that charge us the same service they did for her here for 25. I get maybe 50 but 95?! That was wild... my bill for basic mani and pedi for her and myself came out to 230 without tip.... 255 with tip. I never paid that in my life or my natural nails ever. They are the most expensive nail place I've ever seen to charge $95 for a set of medium gel X nails before any designs is ridiculous. Then the nail design prices are absolutely absurd for one 3-D nail. It's $15 for a 3-D flower nothing that takes more than 5 to 10 minutesthen to replace a toenail with acrylic and a simple type of flower design $25 been getting my nails done for over 40 years and I would never spend $300 on hands and feet. After years of loyal business they decided one day that they didn't want to take my disabled mother who also has dementia. My mom looks forward to getting her nails done and loved going there. The owners seemed so nice until they turned their backs on us and refused our business. The reasoning? The owner claimed that all the technicians hurt their backs leaning over and that my mom shakes too much. Issues that were never brought up to us over several years of going there. There are so many nail places around don't waste your time or money going there!!! Shame on them for making someone who is already in a fragile state feel unwelcome!! read more

LONG STORY *SHORT: beware if you switch nail techs you might get yelled at.* It's left a lasting impact on me by how I was put in an extremely uncomfortable situation. I'm 30 years old and have never experienced anything like this at a business. I've been going to essential nails for about 6 months. I have 8 stamps on my "you'll get a discount after 10 visits" When I first went to them I was assigned a nail technician by the name of Erika. She was very personable and we got along well. The only issue was each visit, within two weeks or so mainly, my pointer finger and middle finger acrylic nails would come loose. I kept going to her and expressed this was happening. I never had this happen with my previous nail business but I chalked it off to using too much water on my hands. I even ordered dish washing gloves to try and save them. She wasn't available the only day I could get my nails done, so I booked with Nellie who had a slot open (I requested online any employee would be fine). I told her my nails kept falling off and she was respectful and said she would make sure these would stay, which they did and I was very happy about that. The next time I needed a fill I requested online any employee would do. I saw Erika was my nail tech and was optimistic that it could work out. My nails looked great walking out but yet again, within a week and a half sooner than usual even for our appointments they became loose. Thinking that Nellie and I had a good repor about my situation I specifically requested her because I was happy with her work and she knew my situation. I wrote while booking online something like, "Help! My nails are falling off again please help me fix it!" I was frustrated. I show up to my appointment and I felt something was a a bit off. I cannot for sure say, but I told her the situation and stayed silent. (When things got very uncomfortable) She finishes my nails. I non the wiser go to check out. Nellie accuses me, very loudly commanding all attention on us that I'm talking "shit" her words about her friend. I am shocked. I say no what? We hardly talked. The then Nellie says that this business that I'm paying MY hard earned money for goes to EVERYONE in the salon. Suddenly things take a shift and she says Erika sent her a text saying we were talking "shit" (their words) about her. Totally UNTRUE. During that awful confrontation I told Erika (across the room while I was left no choice because she was servicing a client who I'm sure was uncomfortable as well) that it was not personal but I pay 70+ each visit and I just went to who made my nails last longer. My part: Yes. I told Nellie that this was happening. That my nails were falling off much sooner than they should. I also told Erika that during our appointments. I never thought that I would be placed in the middle of a clic at a nail salon. By the end of the conversation it seemed Nellie wanted me to confirm we weren't talking about her and said the manager will deal with it. The manager saw and responded to Nellie about the entire encounter. However, I never got a call, when they call me for appointment times, but not any sort of acknowledgment about how awful it is to pay GOOD money and be put in a catty situation like that. It was very disrespectful considering I've paid probably close to 1k to their business and now can no longer return. read more

Found Essential Nails on a google search and saw the great reviews, decided to give it a try with my cousin for a girls' day. As soon as we walked in, the staff was attentive. I got seated right away with my appt with Cress and was offered soda/water. The seats were very comfortable and clean, the whole place was clean and organized. Cress was great and we had good conversation going, she would check with me if I like what is being done, which is reassuring to some people who are shy to speak up. bro i just got ripped off. DONT GO HERE. I paid for a $55 Happy Feet Spa with hot stones, a masque, massage, sea salt scrubs and ETC. With an add on of $20 acrylic on only my 2 big toes and $10 on french nails. i paid $85 in total. I wanted to treat myself. I left with dusty feet from buffing, which the orange haired asian lady covered in lotion, no rinse? NO stones NO masque NO massage nothing that was listed on their website was done. She was overall so unprofessional, so rude, and over reacted so aggressively to when i told her i wanted french nails. "nuh-uh honey it's extra." like, that's fine? i'll pay? Crazy part is i told a coworker about my experience only to find out she had a similar one as well. We're pretty sure we got the same orange hair asian lady. Same mannerisms. At this point i want a refund for the services that were NOT DONE. I'm sure there are other artist in there who aren't like this person, But what a crazy coincidence my coworker also did not have a good experience here either. read more
