I had gone to this spa before with my mother. As soon as we walked in, I requested women-only service because we do not feel comfortable having a male do our pedicure. Anyway, then a woman came who knows us because we are old customers -- my whole family has been coming here for years. But this time, one woman disappointed us a lot. She asked what nail shape I wanted, and I told her I wanted a round or square shape for my toenails, which meant I did not want my nails cut completely short. Later, when I looked, she had cut all my toenails very short. When I told her that I had already explained what I wanted, she told me to "shut up" and said, "Let me do my job." I stayed quiet and thought there was no point arguing anymore. Then my mother also got upset and asked why she had cut them all short when I had clearly explained beforehand what I wanted. After that, I got upset too and told her, "You spoke to me very rudely when I was calmly explaining the shape I wanted." She again replied rudely and said, "Do you want the service done or not?" She showed so much attitude toward me in front of everyone, and then she left me there without finishing the service. I really do not understand why she behaved with so much attitude. Doesn't a customer have the right to say what they want and do not want? This was the first time something like this happened. Another worker who was sitting nearby apologized. My mother asked her where that woman had gone and who would complete my service because I was still waiting. She said nobody else could do it because they were busy, and I would have to get it done somewhere else. She also apologized and said, "I don't know why she behaved like that with you." I told her it was not her fault, but that woman treated me very disrespectfully and rudely, even though I had politely explained that if she did not understand, she could have asked me again. I had somewhere to go, and in the end I did not even get the service the way I wanted. read more

My daughter went to get a fill and they ended up taking all of her old nails off and redid them. They charged $5 for coffin shape which is fine but they charged $75 to keep the nails long, which my daughter did not want. I may be confused but they charge extra to keep them long but it's cheaper for them to cut them short, doesn't make sense. read more

For the price we were disappointed by the service... while the staff were not rude we got three pedicures and 2 of them were upsetting. The most upsetting of the pedicures was that one of the pedicure's caused my cuz to have a swollen toe which was filled with puss. I believe it is infected and while they did try to help fix it; for the price I would expect this not to happen. You may get a different nail tech and have a great experience but wanted you all to be aware. Sad to say that I did not like the result of my nails. The shape was not done correctly and the guy did my ring finger nail too short compared to the rest of the new set I just paid for. When I pointed it out he then cut my other ring finger nail down to match the other one. When I asked for a regular cat eye nail polish, he couldn't do it so then I was asked to go to another female technician. She proceeded to do my nails and she tried fixing the ring fingers because they were too short. I ended up with a thick nail because of it.When I left, I then realized that my nails were not all the same thickness or shape. I ended up paying 72$ for a new set of nails with cat eye and French tip. I thought it was too much for a service that was subpar. I have attached photos so you can be the judge of it. As far as the location went, it seemed clean, the technicians were nice. But I did not see any licenses posted. I wish the pictures actually showed how the nails were not matching the lines don't match on the tips and how the shapes of the nails are off some are round, and others almond. I have nails that are not shaped right, one middle finger is noticeably shorter than the other and the polish is peeling off just from taking a shower. Perfection every time. I have been visiting Aloha Nails for over a year now once I moved back to Vegas in Sept 2023. Lynne has been providing excellent service since my first appointment. I get a dip manicure and regular pedicure and they both last 4-5 weeks. I am a local gal who appreciates quality and strength since I work in the service industry. The Deluxe Pedicure ($40) was my pick for a gel pedi with a handful of add-ons including callus removal - the lady went at my feet with a cheese grater and I braced myself for bloodshed but they know what they're doing here. I came in with hobbit feet and left with girly pink toes that are appropriate for the public eye. I can't say I'm likely to come here often but service was efficient and the work was good. I was in and out in about an hour, they have a good selection of colors, and there was a really casual vibe here that I liked. I used to love going to this Nail place for pedicures and getting my acrylic nails done. I especially recommend Adrianna if you want your nails done. But the most recent time that I went I was very unpleasant with my service. I came in for a nail removal because I needed to give my natural nails a break from the acrylic and I didn't want them to be thin. The owner was the one who did my removal and instead of drilling the acrylic and soaking them in acetone to gently remove them, she ripped them off. I've never ever gotten my nails removed like that. Not only did it hurt, it cut layers of my natural nails. This service costed $20. I could've ripped my nails for free if I wanted to. I'm investing my money and time as a regular customer to get my nails professionally done and that was seriously not okay. I'm not one to write bad reviews and I always tip after my services so this says a lot for me to even write this. Never coming to this place again read more

I have been coming here for a couple years. Mainly because it was close by to where I previously lived. I have had a few different nail services here and the quality has seriously gone down. At my last visit I had my acrylic nails removed and gel nail color added. The lady must have not been quite awake yet. She blasted my cuticles no less than 5 times. She drew blood a couple of times with her nail dremel and after trimming my cuticles with her nippers, the next day they tore on 3 fingers. She also trimmed two nails to the quick and almost drew blood on one. Then she asks how I want my nails, I tell her rounded and she gives me square after confirming round. At the initial appointment to have nails filled the man who did them before was just in a hurry to do them with little care to the shape and texture. He also used based coat instead of top coat and almost sent me out with tacky nails (gel polish isn't tacky). So he apologized and removed the base coat he used as top coat and applied top coat and put them under the lamp. At first glance they were very pretty, but they werent smooth and had dips in the acrylic, the paint also felt gross. The time before that the girl who did my fill spent a lot of time on my nails, just to be able to still feel the tip on my nail she applied a new tip to. It was visible on my nail bed under the acrylics (the flare of where they were attached). Then at my very first visit applying nails, the gentleman was very kind and easy to talk to but he left huge gaps between the nail tip and my natural nail. The one thing I do love is their pedicures. One of my best friends was visiting and we got our nails done here for a girls day out. I called in the early morning and wanted an 11am appt, at first they said no, 11:30 but then said, yes. I had a doctors appt at 12:30pm so I wanted to make sure I had enough time to get there. So we got there at 11am and they kept telling us to pick a color and then have a seat. It was clear that they were busy... but they told us it'll just be a few minutes... We finally sat down at around 11:25am but no one came to us until 11:45am... I was gonna be late for my appt so I had to call and cancel. My nail tech was Chi and he upsold me to the Aroma package for $45. It comes with a scent of choice, scrub, mask and massage. I chose a scent for my foot bath and it was one those single use packets. Very cool. The salt scrub and mask he used on me was also single packets - first time seeing that in a nail salon. Very hygienic and classy. Chi also offered my girl friend and I some mimosas - not too shabby. The massage chair was pretty legit, lots of different massage settings. Chi did a very thorough job with my toes, he made sure to get all the cuticles and even went back to them a couple of times. He gave a really great massage and was also doing some reiki. He was full of energy, stories and had a great vibe to him. I took a star away bcs I didn't appreciate being lied to about the time... bcs it was obvious that they knew they weren't gonna be available until 11:30 but still told me to come in at 11 for the risk of losing my business. If my friend wasn't there with me, I would have left to go my doctors appt instead of waiting around for so long. But I'm glad I stayed bcs the service by Chi was really exceptional. Let me begin to tell how much I love this place. Adrianna is by far the best. She does my manicure and pedicures. She is extremely talented and can do any type of design. Anything stiletto to coffin shape. Adding rhinestones and glitter. Her work is impeccable and it shows. She definitely stands by her work. I highly recommend her. Yeah...no. In my perpetual hunt for a new nail place, I stumbled upon Aloha Nails. I called and made an appointment for an acrylic fill with gel polish and was able to get in on the same day (a Saturday) with Natalie. I arrived on time (give or take a few minutes due to the line at Jamba Juice) and was seating with my tech fairly quickly. A few things stuck out to me right off the bat: a) people congregating in a waiting area despite signs on the door saying that wasn't allowed b) some techs not wearing masks when not with clients/waiting for a client and c) Deal or No Deal was playing on television with no sound...making it really hard to follow. What do my exes and my choices in nail salons have in common? I notice that the red flags are there but choose to ignore them. I've been getting my nails done for a long time now. At this point, I'm picky but far too skittish to intervene when I see (and know) my nails are being done poorly. The acrylic was applied very thick. Some people like thick acrylic, but I don't. Also, when the tech was drilling/sanding my nails, she nicked me more times than I could count. As in, I tried to count but it was in vain and I wasn't sure if I should count the number of nicks altogether or per finger. It was a lot. My fingers bled. This experience seemed like it took forever...probably because it did. I was there for over an hour and a half for just a fill. When it was finally finished, I paid and tipped with my sore fingers and vowed to not return. Then, the next day, my gel polish chipped. Really bizarrely. Like a chunk of it just came off the side of the nail. Wtf?? I've never seen that before. I considered just letting it go, but I had a trip planned for that weekend and my nails were ONE DAY old. So, I called Aloha Nails and explained the situation. I then had to literally negotiate a time to come in to get this one nail fixed. The tech that ended up fixing it was pleasant enough but I definitely won't be back. Not even when the other nails started chipping days later. Two stars instead of one because I like watching Deal or No Deal and more nail salons should play game shows on their televisions. read more

I usually go to another salon but my sister wanted to try this place out for pedis. Absolutely nothing good to report. They were quick and friendly, the technician barley scrubbed my feet, no callus removal, didn't really rub my feet, didn't even put lotion on. To paint my toes, they use legit toilet paper (which I think is low scale and cheap). The entire pedicure was less than 30 minutes (you simply can't do a quality pedicure that fast). After they were done, no one said anything! I kept trying to ask someone for 10 minutes if I was done but they just let me sit there. They do have nice chairs but for the quality of the overall pedicure, I won't return. read more
