I had gotten my nails done the day before on the other side of town and the chrome on my index finger was already gone. I decided to pop into PHAMV to see if they had anyone who could reapply the chrome. I was seated with Amazi and she tried her best to find chrome that was at least as close as we could get to the original chrome color from the day before. I was even open to it being slightly off since all salons have different brands and knew we might not be able to match it exactly. We picked a chrome, tried it out, and it came out the exact same! They didn't charge me for the one nail which I was not expecting & it was so sweet of them! The nail bar itself was so clean & cute! Truly disappointed. I came in only because my regular nail lady was out of town for the holidays and i really regret not just waiting for her to come back. Nail art was eh but my real issue came down to the lack of accountability and literal green finger nail i got. I have gotten this moisture trap before but NEVER to this extent and from how they described it, this could've been avoided. The nail artist noticed my nail was lifting and instead of fixing it she added more product. I returned simply asking for a removal and refund as it had only been 5 days since my service and was offered a gift certificate for not even half of what i paid. I called and asked to talk to a supervisor or someone who could deal with the issue and was told i would receive a call back and never heard from them again. Save your money and nail health. But the manicurist seem to have had some miscommunication with the staff Anyways it made me uncomfortable how she confronted the young lady at the front. The chairs need new padding. We've gone Phamv Nail Bar for years. It was Diva Nails but changed to Phamv a few years ago. I had a pedicure with a new nail tech today named Anthony. He did a pretty good job but argued with me about the shape of my right big toe nail. I didn't like how he cut it and he argued with me that it was right. I never did figure out his reasoning. I told him it was my toe nail and I knew how I wanted it cut. He finally cut it to my liking but by then it was too short. I was scheduled for a gel manicure but didn't trust him to do it like I wanted. The owner was there but she never said a word. Very poor customer service. read more

Took me a while to share my experience. I saw nothing but rave reviews and said I hope this is my new nail salon. I went in for a full set and color. I wanted multi color on my nails, that was never asked or even hinted at during the call consultation. I got the tips put on, and the acrylic to cover the tip mistakes are so thick. Some of my tips stick straight out instead of the curvature of my nail, so now the acrylic hurts. (Tips meaning the glue on extensions, don't know the proper terminology) There was nothing they could do on site, cuz the next client was already in the chair. Go in with what you know and what you want. You won't have time to make adjustments. read more
