Respecting Taffy in how she was comfortably carried out and left our home. We appreciated how Dr Dahlgren came in with respect and kindness of our special girl by bringing a blanket filled basket that Taffy was placed in and carried out with such care. 4. Partnering with Agape Cremation who kept us up to date on each step of Taffy's cremation process. It was amazing and greatly appreciated. 5. Checking on us 4 weeks to the day that we had to say goodbye. We wish we had found LovingKindness when we had to say goodbye to our little boy, Runner, in 2016....I will never ever put my beloved companions through the stress of going to the veterinarian's office to say goodbye now that LovingKindness is here. When I called at the end of that day because I had not heard back. I was told the results had come back, but the vet may not have seen them and they would get back with me the next day. The next morning, I received an email for a prescription cat food before the email with the test results, which were not good and my cat had deteriorated immensely since their visit. I called and left a message for the vet to call me. She did not call until the next morning, at which time I informed her we had to put our cat down. (We were fortunate enough to find an at home vet who was able to come out the same afternoon). I was so disappointed with the lack of response from the Vet on an animal who was obviously very sick. The only follow up since that time has been 2 emails reminding me my prescription was still ready to order. I have asked them twice now to take me off the mailing list. Hopefully , we will not receive other reminders for this prescription.

After a bad experience with my dogs vet in DC, I started bringing her to my sisters vet- Powhatan Animal Hospital. Dr Floyd gave me a lot of time, it felt unrushed and he answered all my questions, made thoughtful recommendations and I felt he really knew his stuff. He has excellent bed side manner. He provided options for treatment now and as her health deteriorates with age. At the end when I got the bill I was astonished. It was at least 150$ LESS than I was expecting to pay. The prices are so reasonable and the care far exceeded my expectations. If you love your animal as if it were part of your family (as I do) and demand the best, THIS IS WHERE YOU NEED TO COME!
